"I'm Tara Strong. I am an actress, and I'm known for voicing literally everyone in everything ever."
The weird thing is her normal voice is honestly SO NORMAL. Like, you wouldn't expect her to have so many variations at her disposal!
I mean...she isn’t wrong xD
So true
Kyle Griffin
@@VivaLaDnDLogs And she used her normal voice as the voice of Batgirl
Wil is so right. When I played this with my friends I was the traitor. I managed to get the grail and talked a fellow knight into sacrificing their health to zero under the promise of using the grail to revive them. His face when I refused.....so worth it.
When we played with my family, my brother was the traitor... And he played King Arthur too... Lesson learned: NEVER trust in the King!
Tara Strong could probably voice the entire round table and have an evil version of every voice without blinking an eye.
notbobby125 She certainly can do it. Have you seen her acting past?
But it's all the same voice.
I think tabletop should have its own channel
Agreed.
Bring it back under its own channel!
I love how they are playing at a square table
Just realized that Tara Strong has voice acted in so many cartoons and games that I love. She was Harley Quinn in the Arkham Games and Keira in the Jak and Daxter Games!!!
Dani B Don't forget toot braunstien
Dani B Tara Strong is THE voice actress. She's in EVERYTHING.
+kingofcupcakes her and Jennifer Hale. The best voice actors are the ones which you don't notice are in everything. It means they've done their job really well.
She was the original Ben 10, my mind has been blown
She was also Raven in TT 2003.
Whenever my family/friends play this game we always come up with crazy stories for why our knights lose life points. For example, my sister, who plays as Sir Tristan, said this notably while on the quest for the Holy Grail. "Sir Tristan was just finding a clue to the Grail when a wild hand maiden appeared. She was offended by his purple cloak, and smashed him with her staff. Sir Tristan lost a life point because he was so ashamed a female knocked him out."
not because he was knocked out but because of shame XD
Exactly XD
Wild Hand Maiden uses smash. It’s super effective!
I feel like I'm watching Varys and Littlefinger going back and forth at each other.
And for some reason they're the good guys this time, fighting alongside Daenerys Targaryen (best I could do) to try (and fail) at defeating...Eddard Stark? Hodor? Jorah Mormont? Robb Stark? Renly Baratheon? Theon Greyjoy?
I started to cry by the end of the episode I was laughing so hard. Wil may not win often, but when he does, it's glorious!
Tara Strong is amazing! HARDCORE!!!
"i meant merely that you're the traitor" hahahaha
So, the Once and Future King has turned away from the side of righteousness and proven to be a traitor. The Knights of the Round Table have killed themselves rather than face defeat. And Camelot has fallen.
Yet, it's a good day for Wil Wheaton.
Is it okay if I don't feel happy for Wil this time? It just doesn't feel right with this one.
It could actually have been Mordred posing as Arthur. :P
Wow
I think my favorite quote of this episode is....
"Couches aren't even born..."
Love Tara :)
Mine is "There will be no dancing in this Footloose!"
Brilliant session. Loved it. Tara Strong's voices were crazy good. Thanks for putting it together.
Catapults and Life points are like the emergency reserve in this game. And the fact that they are using them up instead of drawing black cards early in the game = almost guaranteed defeat (even if there is no traitor). The thing is: grail + excalibur completed = catapult, and if you put catapult to complete those quests early, it means Cats on Cats on Cats
So much love for Tara Strong. So many voices that I love.
can't you play these games like... twice? they're so good. I watch games and find enjoyment in how these games are played as I wait to get my hands on them, and I feel like a once over isn't enough.
Holy shit, Wil won? Quick, find the tear before we're all destroyed.
omg spoiler alert!!! and as someone who is expected to lose, wil winning is totally a spoiler!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL XD
Been rewatching a lot of Tabletop lately, Wil's joy gives me life. 2020 has been a weird year.
I love Shadows, been playing it for 7years, thanks Wil for bringing it to so many more people. What an epic RUclips idea! More board games from you please???
It says something about Mr. Wheaton that the only times he's ever won are in games with traitor mechanics and he IS said traitor.
Michael Westmoreland the funny thing is that I saw Wil wins, and my first thought was that this game might have a traitor mechanic.
he did no win the mechanics ware broken and poorly designed to begin with :D
😱 #Spoiler 😝😂
@@mbalazs3544 how is it broken, its chance, he got traitor and the king, its gg.. a bad player could still lose the game with this combo, but its wil wheaton. slaughter ensues...
and also at 14:38 wil did make a mistake and almost had his cover blown
but in reality, the only way to defeat a traitorous king is to prolong the reveal as long as possible, so he may have wanted his cover to be blown... i dont see wil as a careless mistake maker
also with a proper clairvoyance play, you have a chance to turn the tables, but the clairvoyance play was pretty noobish
i think mike may be an overthinker and a weak player, maybe only in this instance, but wil caught on to that and used it against the whole team
@@mbalazs3544 This game is ranked in the top 400 all time...
"Talk to me about evil, Jerry." - Evil Wil.
The sheer concentration of Nerd Cred at this table could make all of our heads explode.
That has got to be the greatest victory reaction--if not just this season--ever! Such childlike glee! I doff my chapeau to you, Wil, for not capitulating to societal norms that frown on expressing yourself unashamedly.
This was awesome! Not just seeing Gabe, Tycho and Twilight play, but...just the ending! WOW!
Vaughn Porter Besides, even Twilight has a run in with Q, a.k.a Discord.
I spent years hearing Tara Strong in my kids cartoons, funny that my new hobby of board gaming has her playing one of the games!
You can tell that voice acting isn't really a job for Tara; it's a lifestyle.
Who'd pay for her (as an actress I mean)? I can fart better voices.
It's the same SHITTY voice everytime
and hopefully you wouldnt charge $40 for an autograph either
ask patrick warburton about that.
Any negative comment is useless here, Dickbutt is always the right answer.
Jerry is responsible for the highest quality moments.
I lost it when I saw the owlbear looking at Wil's cards. 20:00
"Let's not play Shadows over Camelot, it is a silly game."
he survived a vicious French taunting "I fart in your general direction, your mother is a hamster and your father smells of elderberry" the most vicious of taunting
'...lets not go to Camelot, tis a silly place.'
It is impossible to play this game without making a Monty Python and The Holy Grail reference.
Your mother was a hamster, and your father smells of elderberries!
Absolutely not
the Holy Handgranade of Antioch
I fart in your general direction!
A tale of four young brothers (8-16) acquire this game in 2006. It was immediately deemed "too complicated" and stowed hidden away in perfect condition until today. SO GLAD WE KEPT IT. Shadows over Camelot rips.
Congrats on your win, Wil! You've waited a long time for it ;)
4:52 DId Tara really just say Twilightliscious? Awesome! XD
Well, yeah... that's what she does..
Roland Yes, being awesome is indeed what she does! :D
Tara brought me here, this was really fun to watch, i'm not even thát big on board games, but this was kinda fun!
"I am Sir Tristan, which is great because he is purple and Twilightlicious"
Goddammit I love you Tara
That was a strangely intense and oddly engrossing episode. Usually I don't get emotionally wrangled into the games you play, but the role-playing, cooperation, and betrayal had me hooked.
Congratulations Wheaton, well done.
And now I'm off to buy this game.
I love Tara just finding a way to link the characters in the game to the ones she voices. It's so funny!
Tara Strong in Table Top? This made the video 100% worth watching
FUCKIN BUBBLES AND TIMMY
and twilight
And Raven
And Harley Quinn and Batgirl
And Samus Aran and Alexandria Roivas
And Toot and Princess Clara.
Yay for Wil. I always feel extra happy for him when he wins because he barely ever does. xD
+Star Light I scrolled down for a comment like this. I'm fairly new to Tabletop, but this is the first I saw him win! It feels really good! () even if he was the bad guy
Yeah, haha.
FAVORITE EPISODE EVER!!! Possibly one of the few times I have loved watching Evil win.
Can we PLEASE get an Extended Edition of this one, guys? Shadows Over Camelot is a GREAT game just to watch because of the subtle expressions of the players' faces and the casting for this episode is so awesome I wanna hear even the most mundane stuff that happened...
I did not expect the voice of Ben 10 and Timmy Turner to be this hot.
Holy shit, Wil actually won for once.
I was thoroughly displeased at the lack of Acid Pit jokes
Nilud Idk check out Wil's scratched out certificate at the end.
I laughed more at this episode than most. And Wil won - yay! Also, thanks for bringing back the "advancing the game" music...the song with the whistling. I don't know why I love that particular music so much, but I've missed it.
Tara Strong brings back all the nostalgia. Still love all those shows even now. And most of the Acquisition Incorporated is formed too. Loved this episode.
Tara Strong one of my favourite VA's.
Ok, I haven't finished the video, but Wil has "forgotten" to use his special power. Wil doesn't forget. Therefore, he's the traitor.
I would LOVE to play poker with the guy.
My response to the opening: "YOU'RE MOTHER WAS A HAMSTER, AND YOU'RE FATHER SMELLED OF ELDERBERRIES."
you are mother was a hamster, and you are father smelled of elderberries?
Cj cathead Kid do you even know what Monty Python is.
Joshua DuFour
you put you're when you should've put your :I
will you taunt him a second time if he doesn't go away? :)
MatoVuc I shall fart in his general direction.
23:50 I love how Mike gave the chalice and Jerry literally drank from it lol.
Thank you. Thank you for spoiling the video. I'm so *VERY* glad you had to say that. Some of us haven't watched it through yet, dude!
>_
I just realized his certificate says "Greatest Acid Pit Craftsman"
HIS NAME IS AOFEL
For those who thought it was odd that Wil claimed there were eleven traitors at a table with only four people, you clearly didn't see the seven people hiding under the table.
everytime they placed a catapult at the beginning I was like, " NO! You Fools! You've doomed us all!"
This is one of the best episodes yet. I've watched it thrice.
Just awesome. Everyone was really into the game, and the surprise ending was perfect.
It says on his certificate, "Greatest Acid Pit Craftsman". Is this a reference from Acquisitions Incorporated?
I was reading through the comments hoping someone would catch it too
These guys commit to the game
You need a lot of players for this game to be balanced with a traitor. We played without a traitor and it was still tough. Honestly, the traitor can be totally transparent and still win. Just add a siege engine every turn; they'll soon run out of steam trying to fight them, and since you don't need to even pretend to help them to keep up the charade, they've effectively lost a knight. Sure they'll get a small bonus for calling you out as the traitor, but it won't be enough to save them. In a small game the traitor gets more turns and the knights will just get overrun.
I'd been waiting so long to see Gabe and Tycho on TableTop! Great episode :3
Tara Strong, I love you. One of my favorite episodes because of all the voices she does. My childhood saturday morning cartoon moments come back to me.
The only thing I can really say is... See through shirt.
I enjoyed this Table Top @_@
I miss this show...
I love this game so hard. Tip: It's always best to deal out the Loyalty cards so that there may not be a traitor at all. If you know there's a traitor, it makes the game way less fun than not being sure whethere there is a traitor or not.
best cast of guests everrr
can't wait to watch it.
YES!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SO LONG!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I know some rules get changed in Tabletop to make it more ...showworthy(?), but one of the key rules is that if a knight chooses to take his last life (aka kill him/herself) as the evil act, the knight still gets to do their turn before they actually die....not that it would have helped in this case.
good monty python joke there
"He's gone. He's doing donuts in the parking lot." I almost spit water all over my keyboard. HAHAHAHAHA
32:53 how obscenely cute that squeal is
She is really good at those voices
She IS those voices.
Oh. I did not know that. Thanks for the info.
She nailed it eh, Powerpuff girls voice was so nice!
of course she nailed it, she is the voice actress of Raven, Bubbles and Timmy Turner.
Steven Cleere She's also Starfire, I'm sad she didn't do it =(
"One of us may be a traitor"
I wonder if you can play as Mordred
Mordred is in the Black Deck cards!
Lol
Tara Strong said Twilightlitious!!!!
I was wondering if anyone else heard that. XD
I'm so happy for Wil!!! He finally won on tabletop!
"You'll eat those words Sir Gawain."
"Nay I will drink them from the grail."
im quite sure that Dr hannah is now a meme on this channel
b-bubbles just said hardcore....i dont know how to feel about this
I still can't comprehend that Tara Strong was on the show! Now we wait for John De Lance...
Juven Secusana Thank you. (Noms on cookie)
I'm waiting for Dante Basco cause that would be fun to watch

sliceanddicecoat THIS GUY. THIS GUY RIGHT HERE. HE IS A GENIUS.
apparently, Wil is only good when it is him against everyone else
Great video! thanks! Loved the ending SO much!
The way Wil describes some of these games and the "mischievous" voice he uses when something could happen (spies, problems, crashes, etc) makes me want to play them so freaking bad. He does a really good job selling these.
i know its part of the game, but i think Arthur should not be a traitor. otherwise its just silly. I ARTHUR KING OF CAMELOT WILL DESTROY CAMELOT
TheSlammer PwndU When I found out that Arthur was the traitor. it made me think about Sonic and the Black Knight.
this comment just made my night.
+11clock it made your"Knight" eh?
+TheSlammer PwndU: Actually, it isn't. Maybe he just got jealous of Percival, or he became victim of a dark enchantment and became evil.
+TheSlammer PwndU eh, worked for Nero.
You gotta hand it to Wil he owned the other three. I don't mind saying that because he loses so often lol
OMG JIM DARKMAGIC!!!
"Yea dwarf! Don't be a Biggett; suck my Spiggett!" My favorite quote from AQ Inc.
In retribution for his betrayal, Aeofel was then engulfed in acid.
Congratulations for Will!!!! That high pitched squeal was great though haha.
I like how Tara keeps using voices as the game goes along.
20:05 Evil Wil Wheaton
You mean.. EWil Wheaton?
*cough*.. Sorry.
Okay i'm really late to discovering this series, but Wil is really attractive lmao
you are lucky..we have been waiting for the the new season a looong time xd
be4life84 i know D: when i finished the third season i was like WHERE IS THE FOURTH.
Sorry, what are you laughing your ass off about?
Wait, did Tara cheat? Her card says departing from the round table is free, not returning.
Steven Chabot more like a group misinterpretation of the rules...
I'm so happy for Wil. Congratulations, honorable host!
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER, WIL WEATON WON A GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER HE FINALLY WON HAD HIS OWN SHOW
I tend to like the episodes with a lot of girls. Obviously because of them ladies, but also because tha games are more simple and enjoyable most times.
+Gabberag Uuuh, i don't get your logic there. Why are the games with women in more simple?
+Richard “Firebug” Merrick I'm sure they meant that it is in his opinion that the games played in this show are more complex when all the guests are male.
also note the last 2 words and put more emphasis there.
I keep forgetting just how pretty Tara Strong is. I mean she seems like a nice person regardless & obviously her voice aint bad.
Her voice better not be bad :P
Aw come on you are 4 people! Playing it with 100% chance of a traitor is killing the game, you should have used all the loyal cards for a chance of a full good party. I remember when we played it and won only 7 swords, we were all like "ok, we are screwed since we don't know who the traitor is", and if you don't find him he turns 2 swords to black....
...and it was no one! The laughs thinking how many times we looked at each other wrong for some decision (like going to Graal with only a single quest card related).
Oh guys, always watch out on who gets the fate card! It's a great card for the Traitor!!!
Well played, sir... well played!
Been watching a good number of these recently, and I gotta say... Wil doesn't actually lose all that often lol
He's won 15 of 56 games counting team wins and not counting games where there really are no winners like Dragon Age and Fiasco. He loses quite a lot
bew1977 considering that there is usually 4 players, the average win rate should be 25% which is a bit under 15. I would say that he's winning regularly.
It's not that rare Wil, you win about 10%of the time. Yay?
MegaDale42 it should be like 25% if it was an even distribution
