This game is absolutely incredible! As a massive fan of the Cruis’n series and arcade racing games in general, this is a much needed release for me. My 6 year old and I have been playing it every night for the last 3 nights and he typically doesn’t like racing games, but he’s into this one. I’m hoping that this opens the door for more high quality arcade racers to be released!

Picking this up as soon as I'm back from vacation. It's got the racing gameplay I want and all the graphics appearance I need in a racing game. Hopefully the head to head works well. And I've always been a Cruisin fan...sank more dollars into it that I'd care to disclose and spent well over an hour trying to get it set up in mame without success (due to the calibration issues).
I cannot wait for my copy to arrive tomorrow! This immediately became one of my most aniticipated games when I saw its debut trailer, as I'm a huge fan of the Cruis'n series. It looks fantastic!!
I remember playing Cruis'n Blast in a movie theatre arcade a few years ago too and wondered why Nintendo did put this on the Switch earlier but I am glad it is now!
I love the Cruis'n game. I plat the heck out of the N64 one USA World and the other one Exotica. So I was happy to see this. I bought it the other day and I'm have a Cruis'n Blast. The horn sounds are kinda annoying
I hadn't been to an arcade in years . The week of July 4th I took the family to Virginia Beach and my son and I raved each other in this game a few times and had a ton of fun . I did a Google search to see if it was out for home consoles . I was surprised to see that the arcade game was already 4 years old and that it didn't get a home release up to that point . But I saw it was coming to the Switch and I immediately preordered it . It came earlier this week . Can't wait to play it tomorrow with my son . I kind of wish that it came out for the PS4 too so that you could take a picture with the PS camera of each player like in the arcade version .
I have to say that it's always a joy watching your videos and hearing you gush over video games. I have friends who like games but not the way you and I do. I wish I could hang with you and talk video games and play them. You seem like a very good natured guy and I hope you'll continue making videos for a good long time.
I suggest checking out a game called Off the Road Unleashed on Switch. It's not at all what I expected and is a great game that deserves more attention
There's something so satisfying about a game that just thumbs it's nose at modern racing games. I was 13 when cruisin USA came to the Arcades. It's one of those experiences when I first played it that I'll never forget. Just the pure insanity of it all that just kept you coming back for more. I'm so thankful this game is available for the switch. Playing blast at the arcade reminded me of the crazy fun time I first had with USA all those years ago.
As it stands it has a 69 on Metacritic. It just blows my mind what certain reviewers’ expectations are for a game like this. It is truly amazing, reminds me of arcade games like Beetle Adventure Racing, San Fran Rush, anything SEGA…I truly think this is a game that is appreciated by the older generation as it’s incredibly nostalgic in its design. Are these ‘professional’ reviewers considerably younger and have missed the point entirely of it? Hmm.
I miss this style of arcade racer. Games like extreme g hydro thunder and the rush series! Golden age of arcade racers! Crusin blast is a blast! Bring more arcade racers back please!

Just so you all know, the pandemic is what caused this game to be ported to Switch. That's seriously the ONLY reason. Raw Thrills is an arcade company headed by Eugene Jarvis. They were tanking due to the pandemic and people not making it out to arcades. They ported this game to Switch to quite literally SAVE their asses! So, I wouldn't just immediately expect more releases from them. This truly was out of necessity to keep them alive.

Huge fan of the series to the point my friends and I, way back in the day, would leave San Francisco Rush running in the background while playing something else as the AI would drive and insane wrecks/jumps would happen over and over. Just to glance over for something incredible to happen and we would get hyped. My copy of Blast arrives next weekend and I am going IN!

I just got this game in with the Intec Arcade1up/Switch replacement deck (on the same day). WOW!!!! What a fantastic experience. This game goes perfectly on a standup arcade.
Nothing beats gaming in the 90s w a game system hooked up to your CRT w RF connection 😎 Cruisn USA was my 1st n64 game for Xmas 96’ and I still remember feeling awkward when the hot bikini girl would shake w my trophy after I won a race as my mom would walk by 😂 Growing up in the 80s and 90s sure beats today!
It's Nintendo racing at its finest. Excite Truck, 1080, F-Zero,... we may not get a new release of each series each generation (obviously), but when we get one, all sanity goes out of the window to make place for pure fun and excitement.

Only many years later I hacked my Wii to play Excite Bots which we never got in Europe, and the fan translation of Project Zero 4.
I have been waiting SO long for a new Arcade racer like this! Bright colors, awesome madness environments, unlockable content etc. Getting a physical copy. This will dust off my switch for sure! More?
I live in the UK and I remember Computer & Video Games magazine were so negative towards the Cruis’n games back in the day! I thought they were pretty good. I will definitely have to check out this new Switch instalment!
Tons of fun. Eugene Jarvis is a genius. I even love the maligned Target Terror on the Wii. The games are just pure ridiculous fun. I’ll take all and every Raw Thrills game ported for home consoles. I drove about 30 min out to get it at the only close by Wally that had it. Was like 34 bucks plus my WM 10% discount. Very worth it!
I have this game on Switch. Cruisin’ Blast is one of the reasons I brought it, alongside the remaster of NFS Hot Pursuit & Burnout Paradise. They’re really awesome games and seeing them on a handheld is an added bonus.
I haven't played a cruisn game since cruisn USA on N64 and I questioned it. I did preorder for a physical copy and I love it! It's just a really good racing game. I recommend it to anyone who loves arcade racing games.

Been waiting for a good arcade racer that’s not mariokart. After wasting money on a few that sounded promising, I sorta gave up. Out of nowhere, this game comes to switch. Took a leap of faith on it as it wasn’t a huge fan but I did play in it in the arcade from time to time. And you know what? I haven’t had this much fun playing a racing game in a long time. it’s simply a blast (pun intended). Online play would be sweet as some of us older gamers can’t just run to a buddys house and play video games anymore.
I was stoked for this when it was announced at E3 and got my physical copy today and I’m having a BLAST with this. I’m still just trying to complete the arcade courses and get the keys and that alone is worth admission, I haven’t touched the tour mode yet.
color me impressed, sadly, due to economical reasons, will wishlist this and wait for a sale and hope for the best, grew up playing the original in the arcades, so will wait and see if things clear up here and i can get this.

He is about to open his and has been posting updates along with his regular content while doing so! I say this out of respect and wanting to see you start the process like you have been saying for years! Wish you the best but seek advice from someone who has been doing what you have been saying for years! It isn’t an impossible task!
got my copy on order from walmart, but been living vicariously through twitch and youtube streams of this! loved cruis'n usa/exotica/world back in arcades, as well as the spiritual successor based on fast and the furious, but haven't really played the new arcade version so looking forward to playing this new home port!
I just bought that game! It's fun! It's definitely a must have racer for ur Switch! The only downside is that i thought it would include the original 90s classic Cruisin USA from the arcade but this game is a fun racer!

Indie arcades might be a good way for arcades to make a comeback. Then companies like Sega and Capcom might decide to compete and start releasing new and interesting games.
It looks fun. But I was hoping for more a more understated and sort of grounded in reality style like Cruis’n USA. It was like Outrun. The more it went on the more outlandish and less charming it got.
I can't wait to play this, I hope this does well enough that we get ports of Dirty Drivin, H2Overdirve & maybe, some remastered Crusin USA, World, Exotica.
I got this a last week. I just got all the keys 🔑 this evening. I finished the easy Cruisin Circuit all tracks with gold. I’m going to tackle normal next. This game is really fun. I’m slowly maximizing all the cars. The only thing I don’t like is the upgrades are cosmetic. You only can upgrade the performance of the vehicles by maxing out the experience points. I wish you could tweak the mechanics of the vehicles. I wish you could upgrade the tires, engines and rims.
Hello! I am also playing this game, and its great! But do you also notice a distortion in the sound of the ufo when it shoots its laser beams?? When I have my sound a bit louder (but still not even very loud), I notice this distortion in the sound of the shooting beams… It really doesnt sound like its meant like this. I wonder if this might be an error in my copy of the game or if its in all copies. Would like to know if you hear the same distortion:)

Played this in an arcade with my 6 yo son this weekend, came home and picked up a copy for the Switch for us. What a blast!!!

Tour mode is great and you are going to love it!

Honestly to me, it reminds me more of a more cartoony looking asphalt game.
The game even has a the scene from the Jurrasic park arcade where the t rex and spino fight in dangerous dinos

Rush 2049 was my favorite. Me and my friends would always do the stunt tracks and see who could get the highest score. Good memories.

I had my fair share of crusin USA. Been there done that. Art of Rally is still the best racer on the switch currently.
