- Metal detecting 8-31-24 My sister candace and I went to a homestead candace found while researching old properties online to metal detect. the house was built in the late 1700.
after searching for a while we found the cellar hole. the forest floor growth was still pretty think, so it was tough to metal detect. but I managed to save a few pieces of history. I hope you enjoy the video!

I never metal detected it looks like fun . Finding anything very old is a thrill. Peace
It's a blast once you have a good spot. And know your machine. I feel it takes a little more patience than arrowhead hunting.

Over the past 20 years i found about 8 of those, they`re pretty common.
Wow. I didn't realize they were that common of a coin. Hopefully when we get back there we can find some more Treasures
