I'm sure I'm missing out, but I play to get away from screens, so I avoid games that require an app. I like to know that I can still play even if my phone's dead, the Wi-Fi is down, or zombies are on the increase.
If the app is just assisting and not the whole game... I love app narration. Or assistance like done in Alchemists or with Gloomhaven. XCom was app heavier but excellent. I am ok with apps as long as it supports the game experience I think. :)

Are any of the guesses that come out on round 5 locked without any other requirements or do they follow the same requirement in round 3 where they also need at least 2 guesses of the same player for it to be locked in round 5?
I generally love CGE games, great rulebooks, nice art and polished gameplay. I'm a little worried about the components here though, are the "battlements" sturdy?

The cultist wants to sell souls to the devil, but can never get any back. So you have to collect angel wings to buy indulgences? Interesting, would love to see a basic strategy guide.
Many thanks for another great 'how to play' video Paul! After a another view of the video I am starting to form the opinion that this game favours more a turn by turn tactical gameplay as long as you keep the Inquisitors happy rather than a strategic long term engine builder, as -I think- there are too many things happening to keep up with. I may be wrong of course. I would expect the latter (strategic character of gameplay) on a 2 to 3 hour game. What is your opinion on that matter please?
Thanks for the comment. I've only played the game once myself, and that was a learning game where I ended on negative points, so I'm not the best person to give an informed opinion on things like strategy. But yeah, I think it is very much a turn by turn thing. You can't really plan too much.

The game is all about doing deals. You need resources to build stuff, so if you get a really good offer from the Devil, but they want a piece of your sould in return, you sometimes want to make that trade.
I don't think I have ever stopped watching a video faster than this one. All it took was hear Paul say "This is a game for exactly four players..." Hilarious, simply hilarious! PS. I liked the video as always Paul, but this is a game I will never even bother to read its rules!
