- How to setup New Threat 2.0 mod with Final Fantasy 7. Since Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming in just a few months, I thought it would be a great time to revisit the original game that we all love! However, to spice things up, I will be playing FF7 with the New Threat 2.0 mod installed. Since I have already played through game Type A (see link below for the series I did), we will be jumping in to Type B!
I hope this tutorial helps, so you can also set the New Threat 2.0 mod up and play along with me too!

I've been playing with echo s and the new threat 2.0 only combat. It's been amazing. Only found one instance where I had issues at the tunnel with the endless Shinra soliders but otherwise I'm at Zolom and it's been a blast. I feel like I may have missed some morphs/steals with the combat item list being new threat and the field being all the same but it's been interesting.
Thanks Fuzz new pc owner and was looking at rust for this version! When I get baldurs gate 3 done will give it a go 🤣

Hey @FuzzfingerGaming, I've been subscribed for a bit and really enjoying your New Threat streams lately. I had a quick question if you don't mind, or for anyone else here. I've been running 7H mods for my latest playthrough and noticed something odd...every boss or scripted battle the battle camera seems to be adjusted to zoom in slightly every time. Do you or anyone else know what mod or setting could be causing this? Thanks! Looking forward to playing New Threat too soon, thanks to your guidance.
MAKE NOTE!: In TYPE B JUST LIKE in TYPE A, you can SAVE HER! I was looking INTO this and THOUGHT you could just outright "choose" the option of "Yes" or "No". Actually no, it's JUST THE SAME AS in "Type A" where you MUST AVOID KILLING her in that Boss Battle(Remember that?)! I WONDER IF they made it POSSIBLE NOW to GET "Ribbons" OTHER WAYS?

It's so awesome but this mod not work on PSX version just for PC version only, right?
I tried with 7th Heaven mod installer. "Failed downloading" appears when I try to do my mods
i install the mod but its just running the original game. anyone know why this is happening?
I read that he's been working on a release on a Struggle mode for the mod, does anyone know how close he is to releasing that update?

Please help I’ve been going crazy trying to use 7th heaven! I’ve tried different versions of the game and I even bought the steam version. Downloaded all different versions of 7th heaven and the game and deleted them all so there’s not crossed paths. The issue I’m at a road block is with no mods on or even downloaded the game does it’s checks and loads a black screen. When I check my program processes it says ff7 is not responding, I tried manually mounting disc deleting everything starting fresh everything I can think of and any small tip I’ve seen I’ve tried. It seems like the game isn’t attempting to play through 7th heaven but will through steam. Is there a way to manually add mods ? I want to try the voice mods mainly and new threat mods, edit I’m seeing in this video how to do new threat which is great! Is there a way to do the voice mods?
Do I have to restart a new savefile?
