As someone who has been in tech for quite a few years now, I was sceptical but thought it might be real. So I went to the site, checked everything and honestly, A LOT of it seemed plausible. The thing is these Boat products aren't too expensive to make and so I thought they're selling it at 0 profit or maybe even some loss for publicity. It's when I clicked on the payment options to check what's up with it, that it fully outed itself as a scam: only card and netbanking options for payment. That is the biggest red flag when shopping on a site that looks iffy.
The point of this comment is that anybody can get scammed in this way, especially when these ads are on trusted sites like RUclips. It doesn't matter how tech savvy you are; you probably aren't more tech savvy than a guy who designed a full site that looks convincing or even better than the actual Boat website. The scammer here might be evil, but he/she is not dumb. Very smart, in fact. Everyone should be careful.

This is what I observed as soon as I came to RUclips back during the pandemic days. That's when these scams were very common in my account. Mostly they showed smartphones claiming several cameras and 128gb internal under 5k.
I understood right off what they were. But I have seen people who actually happened to believe them due to lack of knowledge.
As always great step towards spreading awareness between masses. 👍
I bought a TWS for 500₹ as part of Dussehra sale from an offline shop. Paid in a hurry because I assumed it was genuine and that was the last piece they had.
However, I realised instantly that something was wrong, the warranty card and manual had a lot of spelling mistakes, the boat pairing had issues. Stood there for over half an hour before the shop took it back, they refused at first saying that once sold it cannot be taken back.
The earbuds were named boAt 151.

I have seen many ads that are similar, the form the ask to fill up personal information there is where I figured out that it is a scam. Just yesterday I saw this boat ad. Thank you for bringing awareness. You should have shown the form because there are same form for all these scam sites
Google really needs to do something about showing scam ads everywhere. really done with reporting each one of them.
Hats off Rakesh Bhai for making this video. I too noticed that ad today and reported it to Google. There's definitely a need for sanity checks before advertising these scams especially on a platform like RUclips.
I hardly remember seeing any ads like that but just below your video I can see one.. seriously RUclips should take strict steps to prevent such scams..

I don’t usually comment but this needs to be said. RUclips apparently checks the content of the ads before they go live, however it seems like their internal processes are not capable enough to detect these scams
Moreover, another interesting thing is that whenever you turn off ad personalisation and stop giving google more data, these sort of ads become more prominent.
youtube runs these fake ads on their website, like boat products for only 329. all of them
RUclips runs human trafficking ads as well without any issue.

For count down timer website , try to refresh the browser after some time , you will find that counter is restarted.
There's a thumb rule : Never pay ahead for any product.
Just opt for COD unless you are availing some government sites like IRCTC ticket booking.

Bro Flipkart and Amazon and many more good apps provide prepaid orders i have not been scammed by any e commerce site and have been shopping for years....

Rakesh bhaiya please make video on fraud business companies like safeshop, Darwin etc. which works on chain system of adding people in a web pattern and taking 10-20 k money for buying products from there company websites and claiming to double the money.

This is great work from you. A few days ago I also watched these days and clicked on it but after watching the website I had a doubt on it due to unavailability of COD and then searched on RUclips and found that it was a scam.
Since I am a regular viewer of GT I wanted to report it, to make a video on this scam but he is too active. He made it before I could tell.

All the "contact us", "warranty policy", "return policy", etc options are disabled on these sites. Once you pay the money, there's nothing you can do on the website..

Hello Rakesh, I have a suggestion for you recently I bought Motorola edge 40 and phone it's damn good only issues is getting more heat while charging in 68W charger . Can you make a video of comparison charging with 33-45W and 68W . And compare how battery drain, screen time affects with any phone . Watching you from last 2-3 years ❤.
Same thing happened with my cousin just few days ago, he bought a fake BoAT watch and it has never delivered to his home.
Just a buying tip, when you buy something, first and foremost prioritise the very quality of functionality of the things that you're buying.
If it's audio equipment, the sound quality
If it's furniture, build quality etc.
Point is, if a product doesn't do the basics good, chances are it won't do anything good

Me as a musician i will never ever compromise with the audio quality. People say boat earphones are good but the fact is it's not.. The ones who knows about the sound quality the bass treble and the basic things won't go for boats earphones other thing it comes about budget so i understand sometimes we have to compromise..

Fake price wale to chal v jaaye, lekin ye adult ads ko remove karna chahiye, even new gmail banane pe v ye ads aati hai. Gmail ki ad setting me isse related savi toggle off karne pe v nahi hat tey hain. Kavi youtube ya browser pe dating related search v na karo par ye faaltu images waale ads jaroor aate hain.

Could you make a video, of many Instagram pages where they show very costly phone like Apple's at very less prices like 3-4k, they take people's money and they don't give people the phone, and when people ask for a return they don't pickup phone, call names etc.?
