It is to the Mahori, a sovereign people, to choose whether to be French or not. And they have chosen 99% to remain in the large French republican community. That's all.
Christian nations eg french are Always ruthless
pakistani are there
The Euronews reporter *needs a geography* lesson. *Mayotte* is not a *Carribean* Island. It is an *African* island that was part of the Comoros system. Ironically, the *original illegal* migrants [the French] to the island are calling the original natives of that region the "illegal" ones. One can't make this stuff up.
Moyotte people have nothing to do with the comores. They are part of France since the 1800' and before that, the 4 islands were at war between themselves. They feel french and they are french.
You rotten people of the Comores, you should just understand that if you refuse to take back NOW your barbaric citizens, then the AK-47 will take them out from Mayotte. The people of Mayotte are French and just want to be French. END OF THE GAME.
Exactly. Even the UN says so.
Curious, why did the people of Mayotte, but not the other Comoro islands, vote to belong to France?

I suppose one can liken the situation in Mayotte to Stockholm Syndrome on a large scale. The oppressed have spent enough time in captivity that they have come to believe they cannot do without their oppressors.
