Seriously if you are interested just search Home Free, find a song of a genre you like and you will not be disappointed. They won the Sing Off in 2013. This is a deep rabbit hole worth investigating. Not suggesting you react to every song. You will find they tailor the songs to the best voice of the group that matches . Examples: boys to men - End of the Road, Man of Constant Sorrow, Brothers in Arms, Hopelessly Hoping (Crossby Stills & Nash), Go Rest High on that Mountain, How Great Thou Art, American Pie ft. Don McLean, God Bless the U.S.A. (featuring Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band), Original Home Free What's Left Of My Heart, Mary Did You Know, When a Man Loves a Woman, The Butts Remix, Listen To The Music and the list goes on...... Quite a few genres listed above to provide a cross section. They are not just Country, they do sing quite a bit of it, but these boys are gifted beyond country and tackle whatever they choose and do it with excellence, they do not do anything half assed. subscribed ❣
Young lady you have just been introduced to the best a capella group out there the boys can sing any genre from country to rock and even oprea. Great reaction.
They are the best! I don't even think of them as an acapella group anymore. Just my favorite band. They have great personalities, sense of humor and are genuinely good people. Thanks for the Home Free reaction. Looking forward to more.
This song blew me away when I first heard it & I was completely hooked. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there (5 octave range) & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound such as drums, harmonica etc. They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.
Hi, young lady. Just wanted to let you know that HF did a video of The Horses w/ two Aussies, and there is a video of HF on Studio 10, that is really good!
Great reaction! IMO, the best a capella band on YT. I've seen them live, and they sound very close to what you just heard. There are no instruments other than their voices.
Tim Foust, the bass for Home Free, has a five octave range. You covered his song, Why Do Fools Fall in Love. He and the rest of the group are so talented.
Home Free is so good. They sing all genres of music and 3 are songwriters and they sing their own songs as well. Adam, beatboxer, was doing the harmonica sound as well as drums and other sounds. Chance, back left, was doing the mouth harp sound (didgeridoo). Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing high. Rob (glasses) can sing opera. All incredibly talented.
Best a cappella group out there, I think. They have a very deep and varied catalog. Everything from country to R&B to pop to rock to sacred, even a little opera from the 2 tenors. I recommend their version of Helplessly Hoping or How Great Thou Art for pure 5-part harmony gorgeousness.
Great reaction. Welcome to going down the rabbit hole, which is what a Home Fry does. That are what Home Free fans are called. I have seen them in concert twice and the nomonica, or what I call the airmonica, is really amazing when you see him doing it live. I would suggest you react to "How Great Thou Art", the most moving rendition of that song that I have ever heard. Keep up the great work.
The sound of instrument at the start of the song (NO instruments were used, i.e., a Cappella) is Not the Australian didgeridoo but the American Jew's harp also known as the mouth harp. They sound alike but are extremely different instruments especially in size. The Jew's harp will fit in your shirt pocket. I believe that Adam Chance, the gentleman in the brown vest back left is doing the Jew's harp sound. The rest of the "beat box" sounds are done by Adam Rupp, back right.
This is going to be great 😁 They have a huge library of songs to choose from. End of the road, Helplessly hoping, Brothers in arms, and How great thou art are among my favorites.❤
Home Free suggestions: "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Sea Shanty Medley", "Never Gonna Give You Up" (the guys cutting up and having a great, but the music is still incredible), and "End of the Road". Also, even if you're not religious, I suggest "How Great Thou Art"--I don't know if there are angels or not, but if there are and they sing, that is what they'd sound like.
New sub because of Home Free. Welcome to the "rabbit hole" known as Home Free. Hold on & enjoy the ride. Keep reacting to HF & us "home fries" will swarm.
Awesome reaction & hope you continue this journey into #homefreeofficial you won't be disappointed! #homefries Austin Brown - high & tenor 1 (lead in this song) Rob Lundquist - Tenor 2 & high tenor (overalls & glasses) Tim Foust - Bass god & has a 5 octave range Adam Chance - barritone & back up tenor (nick named "chance" because there is another Adam) Adam Rupp- beat box genius (founding member/ his brother Chris Rupp also founding member) Chris Rupp- Tenor/Barritone (not in this video...he left & Adam Chance took his place) 😊

These guys are incredibly talented. Welcome to the Hom Free rabbit hole! It runs very deep. Please keep checking them out. They never disappoint. I subscribed! They do different genres. Check out their cover of End of The Road by BOYZ II Men, Listen to the Music by Doobie Brothers, How Great Thou Art. They also have originals. So Long Dixie, Pieces of My Heart and many more. Love your reaction! ♥
Home free is great, you need to check out Voice Play another a Capella group. Their bassist is Geoff Castalluci. He has a FIVE octave range! He has a solo video I think it's there ain't no sunshine when she's gone. Plus Voice Play has a cover of nightmare before Christmas, the oogie boogie song, you'll lose your mind 😊
Geoff is great, but his tutor Tim Foust with Home Free has an even bigger range and is better at other ranges, however Geoff's bass might be smoother with less soul.
Down south, that first sound you heard is called a mouth harp or juice harp and is being made by Chance in back wearing the black vest. He is standing beside Adam Rupp the main beat boxer.
"juice harp" - not heard that one. "Jew's Harp", yes, and "jaw's harp" as well. Whatever. I do not know or care what is "correct" (or a typing error). These guys are are good, aren't they?

new to your chanel, these gentleman are one of the best if not the best at acapella. they have many incredible songs. if you want to hear some more bass he does a few solo videos. you need to check out a group called voice play "oogie boogie man" also. just incredible groups love the reaction Acapella groups are astounding sometimes
New subscriber here. I believe this was filmed in Alabama and yes, it started raining. You can’t go wrong with Home Free. They can and do sing anything. They recently released their second song with Don McCleen, introducing a new generation to his music.
I am definitely a Home Fry and I love their cover of this song. Please check out VoicePlay and their bass. Geoff Castellucci. For VoicepPlay, Hoist The Colours and Nothing Else Matters are both Amazing. For Geoff, the smoothest, bassiest bass out there, Check out his covers of The Sound of Silence and House of the Rising Sun. He will blow your mind with his low notes...
Welcome to as cool of a rabbit hole as you will ever find. My faves; solo-when a man loves a woman, arrangement - Do YOu hear what I hear?, One Man Band, End of the Road. Save Mayday for later but maybe my fave of all. You will feel blessed being able to listen to these. And you will find more. Enjoy.
Subbed for more Home Free. They have a huge catalogue. Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Country Fried Pop all show a fun side if you want to see a different side of them. They're incredible artists. Most of the time I personally just forget there aren't instruments.
Home Free is a VERY DEEP rabbit hole! There's only one mistake you can make with this group -- listening to their cover of "Mayday" too soon. When you get there, you'll understand why it's best to listen to at least 6 other performances before "Mayday." Fortunately, that will be a pleasant task! 🙂 Here are some of their best: ----- - American Pie (performed with the original artist -- celebrating the 50th anniversary of the song.) ruclips.net/video/9RlTZdYXcKg/видео.html ----- - Brothers in Arms (sombre and moving cover of Mark Knopfler's song about war) ruclips.net/video/_ChD2WjD2tY/видео.html ----- - Crazy (cover of Patsy Cline's best known song...written by Willie Nelson) ruclips.net/video/MD17NnmqHuQ/видео.html ----- - Elvira (performed together with original artists The Oak Ridge Boys) ruclips.net/video/Wgm9gZs1hYw/видео.html ----- - End of the Road (cover of the R&B hit by Boyz II Men) ruclips.net/video/-lCRFAFtj-A/видео.html ----- - God Bless the USA (performed with original artist Lee Greenwood plus the USAF "Singing Sergeants") ruclips.net/video/SrMftm6Km3g/видео.html ----- -How Great Thou Art (a magnificent rendition of a great gospel song) ruclips.net/video/tXQpDDcrN-w/видео.html ----- - Listen to the Music (this could be an upgrade of The Doobie Bros. original) ruclips.net/video/O_7IYbuRgWQ/видео.html ----- - Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash hit featuring two basses - Tim Foust (HF) and Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix) ruclips.net/video/0l3dsHCScxU/видео.html ----- - Stand By Me (one of the best songs from the Doo Wop era!!) ruclips.net/video/wspdF1Azgro/видео.html ----- - The Gambler (cover of Kenny Rogers hit that won a Grammy and sparked 5 movies!) ruclips.net/video/ZZQXj7K-_1M/видео.html ----- - When a Man Loves a Woman (soul music--cover of Percy Sledge's 1966 hit) ruclips.net/video/-pygPmfGQvU/видео.html
the sound at the beginning is a jaw harp, done by Adam Chance, known as Chance. All the instruments are done with the human voice. Their harmonies are great. check out "How Great Thou Art", "O Holy Night", "Crazy", "Go Rest High on that Mountain", "Champagne Taste (on a Beer Budget), "Full of Cheer".....
Please notice the live oak trees in the background. It's a great indicator that you're in the American south. That long tunnel of branches is a perfect place for meditation and contemplation. What a great setting for this group and this song.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I do believe we have just witnessed that birth of another Home Fry! Welcome to the rabbit hole! I know for a fact that you will be bombarded by a huge amount of recomendations and all of them will be valid. I will make two suggestions, one is that once you have a chance is to go see them in concert. I've been multiple times and they are always fantastic live. The second suggestion is that you take a look at their cover of "When a man loves a woman " I'm sure that your reaction will be definitely worth watching!

these guys truly are amazing!!..whatsmore....they are my favorite acapella group! unfortunately Austin....one of the group and one of the most talented...is leaving the group!! to say the least...he will be missed!!
If you do Home Free us fans known as Home Fries will subscribe. You need to watch and listen to Adam Rupp (beatboxer) do his 2015 Drum solo. It will blow your mind what he can do. He can also sing in as I call it his honey-sweet tenor voice. All of them can beatbox to some degee. Adam taught Austin ( the one that put that look on you face) Brown hat and vest. How to do the nomonica as he calls it. Chance the one who looks like his not singing is doing the Jaw harp sound.
You need to also check out voice play accapella group try ,hoist the colors, from pirates of the Caribbean they do there own arrangements and video work ,take it a step further with make up and costumes not only one of the top talents but fun to watch and there bass singer 5 octave range plus sub harmonics Geoff castelluchi also does solo works kinda there all Geoff I rec ,I see fire, a deeeep bass cover from the Hobbit movie you will be amazed try it yourself
Not a digereedo (sp?) it's a jaw harp, A jaw harp is a loop of metal with two legs and a piece of spring steel between them (looks a bit like C= with spring steel down the center). On holds the legs to ones lips and flicks the spring using ones mouth as a resonance chamber.
Brothers in Arms will tear you up, When a Man loves a Woman claims possible spontaneous pregnancies! All great!!
Also known as “ear-gasms”…
im a metal guy but homefree is my guilty pleasure i just love acapella.

They just did another one with Don McLean of his song "Vincent ".
Deep, DEEP rabbit hole...
After Tim Foust's base solo, he actually takes his voice one octave lower when the group returns. Incredible!
Young lady you have just been introduced to the best a capella group out there the boys can sing any genre from country to rock and even oprea. Great reaction.
2nd best voice play accapella very talented and Geoff castelluchi bass is 2nd to none
They are the best! I don't even think of them as an acapella group anymore. Just my favorite band. They have great personalities, sense of humor and are genuinely good people. Thanks for the Home Free reaction. Looking forward to more.
Home free is awesome, 5 of the most talented men ever. Best a Capella group out there
What sounds to you like a digery do is Adam Chance imitating a jaw harp. He's spot on with the impression too.
ironic how no one will refer to its "old" name, when the Wikipedia page entry is still titled "Jew's Harp"

OMG how did you know I would love that. Love The Horses
This group is amazing! Keep listening....
Great reaction! IMO, the best a capella band on YT. I've seen them live, and they sound very close to what you just heard. There are no instruments other than their voices.
❤ thank you for this reaction because I wouldn't know anything about Home Free if it wasn't for you. Love from New Zealand 👍🙂
That makes me happy. I think they are amazing too. Im so glad I could assist you in finding these talented gentlemen. 🥳

I can literally see you getting goosebumps. 😉
A few months ago, Home Free collaborated down under in Queensland with several local Aussie artists on a video called "The Horses" you might enjoy.
I just did a reaction to that. I'll try to get it up asap. 🍻👋🇦🇺
#HOMEFREE....harmonies unmatched!
Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplin is a must listen.
Try Helplessly Hoping. As good as it gets.
Good job thanks. Might want to take a look at 'Helplessly Hoping' to hear their voices individually. A moment of silence is required at the end. Thanks again.

Sorry for the long read 🏠🍟
Thank you so much. Amazing comment!
@@SwiftReactions Your welcome
Also geoff castelluchi deep bass cover ,i see fire, from the Hobbit movie your spine will rattle try it
This really shows off their talent. These boys can sing any genre.❤️❤️❤️
Love Homefree
new to your chanel, these gentleman are one of the best if not the best at acapella. they have many incredible songs. if you want to hear some more bass he does a few solo videos. you need to check out a group called voice play "oogie boogie man" also. just incredible groups
love the reaction Acapella groups are astounding sometimes
Welcome to our little community of music lovers. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check that out. 🍻🙏🇦🇺
"Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" Cohen Brothers film, 2000.
Nice Review.
Hi from the UK, they have an extensive range. Another a cappella group is Pentatonix, i can recomend say something and Hallelujah.
Pentatonix is coming soon...
Homefree always good also check out Geoff castelluchi deep bass cover of,man of constant sorrow, also great match them up
Home Free is a VERY DEEP rabbit hole! There's only one mistake you can make with this group -- listening to their cover of "Mayday" too soon. When you get there, you'll understand why it's best to listen to at least 6 other performances before "Mayday." Fortunately, that will be a pleasant task! 🙂 Here are some of their best:
-----
- American Pie (performed with the original artist -- celebrating the 50th anniversary of the song.)
ruclips.net/video/9RlTZdYXcKg/видео.html
-----
- Brothers in Arms (sombre and moving cover of Mark Knopfler's song about war)
ruclips.net/video/_ChD2WjD2tY/видео.html
-----
- Crazy (cover of Patsy Cline's best known song...written by Willie Nelson)
ruclips.net/video/MD17NnmqHuQ/видео.html
-----
- Elvira (performed together with original artists The Oak Ridge Boys)
ruclips.net/video/Wgm9gZs1hYw/видео.html
-----
- End of the Road (cover of the R&B hit by Boyz II Men)
ruclips.net/video/-lCRFAFtj-A/видео.html
-----
- God Bless the USA (performed with original artist Lee Greenwood plus the USAF "Singing Sergeants")
ruclips.net/video/SrMftm6Km3g/видео.html
-----
-How Great Thou Art (a magnificent rendition of a great gospel song)
ruclips.net/video/tXQpDDcrN-w/видео.html
-----
- Listen to the Music (this could be an upgrade of The Doobie Bros. original)
ruclips.net/video/O_7IYbuRgWQ/видео.html
-----
- Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash hit featuring two basses - Tim Foust (HF) and Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix)
ruclips.net/video/0l3dsHCScxU/видео.html
-----
- Stand By Me (one of the best songs from the Doo Wop era!!)
ruclips.net/video/wspdF1Azgro/видео.html
-----
- The Gambler (cover of Kenny Rogers hit that won a Grammy and sparked 5 movies!)
ruclips.net/video/ZZQXj7K-_1M/видео.html
-----
- When a Man Loves a Woman (soul music--cover of Percy Sledge's 1966 hit)

Yay. Thanks for the road map! 🥳👋🍻
the sound at the beginning is a jaw harp, done by Adam Chance, known as Chance. All the instruments are done with the human voice. Their harmonies are great. check out "How Great Thou Art", "O Holy Night", "Crazy", "Go Rest High on that Mountain", "Champagne Taste (on a Beer Budget), "Full of Cheer".....
the way she said bayou with that southern accent ❤

Please notice the live oak trees in the background. It's a great indicator that you're in the American south. That long tunnel of branches is a perfect place for meditation and contemplation. What a great setting for this group and this song.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I do believe we have just witnessed that birth of another Home Fry!
Welcome to the rabbit hole! I know for a fact that you will be bombarded by a huge amount of recomendations and all of them will be valid.
I will make two suggestions, one is that once you have a chance is to go see them in concert. I've been multiple times and they are always fantastic live. The second suggestion is that you take a look at their cover of "When a man loves a woman "
I'm sure that your reaction will be definitely worth watching!
Thank you for the suggestion 🙏
Watch untill the end. Adam chance does it
Welcome to the Home Free fandom.
Cheat sheet that I stole to make it easier on ya!
"The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance. A lot of time they each have a part in the song. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire ( 41) can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) ( 40 )very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis, Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) ( 42 ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland, Texas Austin Brown: High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )( 37 ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass ( 39 ) deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County, Alabama. Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: American Pie Oak Ridge Boys: Elvira Kenny Rodgers: Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Billy Gilman: One Voice Alabama: Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills: Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band: God Bless The USA Any many more. Thank you soo much. Love Homefree and its so nice that you took the time to leave such a wonderful comment. A big hello Oz. 👋🙏🇦🇺
A bit late to the party but Welcome to Home Fry Nation!
That's a yes
Excellent video production. Side note; I've got a stubborn spot on my screen, right upon your throat.
No innocent instruments were harmed in the making of this song!
For some delicious, deep harmonies, check out their cover of I Can't Outrun You
Home Free fans are called Home Fries.
Good stuff
Welcome to the home fry rabbit hole, enjoy the ride.
Thanks! Will do!
these guys truly are amazing!!..whatsmore....they are my favorite acapella group! unfortunately Austin....one of the group and one of the most talented...is leaving the group!! to say the least...he will be missed!!
They've got around 400 songs to choose from now, so quite a rabbit hole...
This song was also my introduction to Home Free.
Subbed for more HF
You need to also check out voice play accapella group try ,hoist the colors, from pirates of the Caribbean they do there own arrangements and video work ,take it a step further with make up and costumes not only one of the top talents but fun to watch and there bass singer 5 octave range plus sub harmonics Geoff castelluchi also does solo works kinda there all Geoff I rec ,I see fire, a deeeep bass cover from the Hobbit movie you will be amazed try it yourself

Welcome. So glad you joined our little community of music lovers. Suggestions encouraged and a big hello from Oz👋🇦🇺🍻
gave me goosebumps within like 2 seconds, it's insaneee! Btw Nick Thurl Mavromatis has done it again! His new song is a masterpiece. React to it now!
Not a digereedo (sp?) it's a jaw harp, A jaw harp is a loop of metal with two legs and a piece of spring steel between them (looks a bit like C= with spring steel down the center). On holds the legs to ones lips and flicks the spring using ones mouth as a resonance chamber.
oh and a serious sense of humor. They are just as funny as they are serious.
A request. React to Damaged by October ends 😍
If you really want to hear something amazing, you should hear them sing "Helplessly Hoping"
He is doing the the aboriginal instrument (I can’t spell it and auto correct won’t recognize it), and the harmonica with his vocal cords.
