Just want to add that as a man who reconnected with God after solo travelling - this episode was so relatable and honestly a blessing. You have no idea how much I needed this ! I have been conflicted for the past few months as I'm dating someone that is not a Christian and have compromised alot to be with the person. Im praying that God gives me the strength to make the right decisions and to trust him as I don't want to let this person go but I know he will never be the right person for me.
Where you heart is, so is your treasure. I've recently discovered that I've idolised relationships since the beginning (daddy and mommy issues). When you said you know he isn't for you but you don't want to let it go it reminded me of this. I'm relearning who to love with all my heart, mind and soul - the Lord, my God, creator and lover of my soul. It wasn't easy to admit and confess but it's worth it. God is faithful, we should fall in love with him. This is what I'll be telling my daughter ❤

Sometimes things can feel right in the moment but we always have to think about what the future will look like and any long term effects of being unequally yoked. We’re praying for wisdom and discernment to go forward for you 🙏

I married the wrong person because I didn't lnow to date well and wasn't strong in my faith. Professional women are also encouraged to dumb themselves down so as not to ' scare off a man". I know understand that a 'man' isnt intimidated by a woman.

I loved the conversation regarding being “undersexualized” by the church and oversexualized by the world, that was definitely something to think about.
I loved this so much however I do feel that non Christians can understand the concept of not having sex & the reasons why - abstaining can be a moral choice not out of faith too!
It’s actually super painful to hear how God has come through for others in relationships and have ended up married but that’s not happening for some of us and you know deep down it won’t happen This has been my biggest let down in my Christian walk
It’s always sad to see these comments in Christian videos about dating as well. Do you find that you’re more focused on marriage etc than him? Ofcourse it hurts but comparison doesn’t help either. I have good news for you,you are not a failure for feeling how you do. God loves you and he is for you and he is working all things together for your good and his glory. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Just speaking encouragement Sisters, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and ALL these other things will be added to you. I am single as well and desire marriage but my focus is on God and His Purposes and in DUE Season God will send us and give us the desires of our heart. I am learning it’s going To be Beautiful In His Time. Waiting is not easy but necessary. I am a newly divorcee and there is NO fun after saying yes for a temporary fix which was meant for a lifetime. Take your time ladies and Have a Blast With The Lord and just maybe as you’re enjoying your relationship with HIM… he brings your marriage partner…. Just something to think about 🙂👊❤️🙌
I’m really conflicted about the question of should Christian women date outside their Faith. On the one hand is it right for so many Christian women to be alone, childless with no family because there are no Christian men available? On the other hand as a Christian woman would you comfortable knowing that the man you’re joined to has no walk with God. Cannot pray you for you when you’re going through something difficult? Cannot lead your family in devotions? But then I also know that there are many Christian women married to christian men who do not lead in devotions anyway!! As I say, I’m conflicted!
It is very clear in the bible that as Christian’s we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. The life we are currently living is not all there is as Christian’s. Be careful not to make having a marriage and children become an idol.

But I don’t think it’s a helpful to say that to any unmarried woman because there is clearly a lot of societal pressure and women who remain single often get left behind and left out. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to want to not be lonely.
