I think many of us would hesitate to put in a landscape bed as large as this berm on one side, never mind two! I have found this project to be most encouraging as 2 years in these beds are clearly growing, blooming and thriving. As always Jenny, you demonstrate the realities of gardening showing us how to pivot and redirect from original plantings when needed. I believe we viewers of Gardening With Creekside are learning to "stretch" with you! Thanks much ❤
Actually we all can start seeds or propagate to reduce plant costs and we can adjust timeliness as budgets dictate. However, I admit to pretty serious equipment envy!
Well said Jenny.. Gardening is an ever learning experience with successes and failures with both weeds and beautiful blooms. Each growing season brings one a chance to try again. That's what is exciting and motivating. Your property is so beautiful. Thank you for taking us along with your journey and being real!
Thanks for the tour of your beautiful berm! I am in zone 7B, Southeast TN & have learned soooo much from watching your videos! My flowers & shrubs thank you in the midst of this sweltering heat!! 🙂
Thank you both so much for all of the time and effort you put into creating these videos for us. The gardening alone is so labor intensive that I can't fathom having the energy left to do the videos. I'm loving those drone shots of both the gardens and the entire area!
Good morning. Glad Jerry had his mic on. So nice to hear his input. Everything looks so beautiful & lush. Learned/refreshed some information & totally grateful, thank you. Have a wonderful & safe 4th of July
Yes ,we all live and Learn, but the Berm is Gorgeous, amazing how it has filled in and I always say WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR, It only gets better 💚 .Thanks for the tour . Blessings to all ……. God Bless America 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸 🌿🍃
Good morning, Jenny & Jerry ☕️The berm is doing fantastic! It looks gorgeous! I’m so jealous your Hybiscus looks so amazing 🤩. I am eagerly awaiting the spray you sent me to kill those Sawfly’s 😖 You look glowing with your tan and I absolutely love your hat! Love the drone footage, too!Happy 4th of July! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
I love those barberry bushes so much. I’ve been trying to get my hands on some but can’t find any. I think they are relatively new so maybe next year I’ll find them. Patience in gardening right!
Walking along the Berm, you may find messes, but from the drone it looks gorgeous! Thanks Jerry for your drone footage it’s always beautiful..Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Those flowerbed is absolutely beautiful. I can't believe it's just 2 years old. All the beautiful plants, shrubs and everything is so beautiful. Thank you Jenny and Jerry for sharing this with us. ❤❤ I love all your video's.
Jenny is hope you don’t mind me saying, I love what you’re wearing today😊. I like the way you planted the berm this year better than last years choice. It is beautiful!
I look so forward to watching your videos! You keep it real! I planted some Blood, Sweat & Tears Day Lilies and they are so beautiful! One has already started reblooming! I'm slowly turning the majority of my yard into perennials. Finding it easier to maintain that way. However, I love learning about new plants and watching how they mature to get ideas. Someone made a comment about how beautiful my flowers looked recently and it totally made my day! It's alot of work but it's also like a therapy to me.
AWWW JENNY... YOUR SO BEAUFIFUL,, A BLESSING TO ALL!!! YOU AND YOURS ARE,AN, AMAZEING FAMILY!!!! HAPPY 4TH TO ALL!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL WITH PEACE,JOY, SUSTINCE E,AND LOVE OF ONE ANOTHER!!!! AMEN
Beautiful. Thanks for the update. Took lots of notes for my garden. Also thank you for the encouragement to us gardeners who lack confidence. Love your outfit.
Jenny you and Jerry are an immaculate team the berm is stunning this year as well as the rest of your gardens 😊 thank you for all the inspiration my gardens are a mess this year but it's a work in progress as always lol 😅
You’re amazing vision created such a beautiful landscape for your home. Having watched the development from the beginning I’m truly impressed with how this has turned out for you! Spectacular work!!! Now if there was some way to get you guys up here in Ontario, 🇨🇦 😂
Beautiful garden. I am in Arkansas 7b. Have to love the heat at this time. You say if your not killing your not gardening... well let's just say I must be gardening. Lol. No you have taught me a lot. Thank you.
Awe loved that video of just basic gardening… Great job guys loved it. Made me laugh and made my day a better one. Hope you had a great 4th of July take care…
I find myself planting flowers for the bright pops of color they give from a distance, and the drone shots help show that. Oranges and yellows with purple are my favorites this year. Those barberries I definitely need, and next year, hopefully, I'll find those Ageratums. This is a very inspiring part of your garden, even for us farther north.
I love your outfit! It was n8ce looking at the berm up close and personal. I just wish that I could see it every season. It lookd gorgeous now and so are you! Thank you for all that you are doing!
it's so gorgeous and I can't believe it's come that far in such a short time! Great job! One suggestion -- each time you tour the berm, you mention about the public not going onto the house side of the berm. I'm sure many of your customers follow you on YT, but for those that don't and won't hear that instruction, you could put small (thinking like 4 x 6 inch) "Private: Do Not Enter" plaques on the posts at each end of the fence. They make pretty ones, I'm sure you could find ones that would get the job done but not be too distracting on Etsy.
Berm is stunning! Love the grass cutting patterns in the background - would love to see how you guys get such precise cutting patterns! Thanks for all the detail you put into your tours♥
I love love love your berm! The plants are all beautiful and so healthy looking! Can’t wait to see what shrubs and perennials you add this Fall on the house side. You snd Jerry have worked your fingers to the bone with all your new beds. Your signature garden is glorious and you all should be very proud of it! Can’t say enuf good things about Creekside!!! ❤️ garden
Happy 4th of July Jenny and Jerry. Just WOW I can't believe how everything has grown in just 2 years. Jenny you look like you're on vacation. Love your tan and your outfit. Hope everyone at Creekside has an and safe 4th 🤗💓💕💞🎉🎉🎉🎉
Jenny and Jerry, I just love you guys. Watching the July berm tour right now. I’m in central Ky, and I’d give anything if you all were just down the road. One day I will make the trip to come meet you and visit the nursery. It is so beautiful there where you are located. But the berm just takes my breath away. I want to someday create a smaller version of that . I bought a quick fire fab last year and am amazed at what it’s done this year. I will have a whole hedge of them someday. You and Laura with garden answer have ignited my passion for plants and design. Anyway, thank you for the videos and wonderful knowledge. You truly do inspire me.
I love your berm and your philosophy that “ if you do no kill something you are not trying” lol but it is so true! Like life in general it is a mixed exciting path! 👍🏻
The view at 39:39 with Winecraft Gold smoke bush as a backdrop to the pale orange day lilies and darker green shrubs is spectacular. My gardens are heavy on the cool colors, but this warm/hot arrangement is lovely. Also lovely is Jenny's hat. I have several gardening hats, but choose that day's attire based on the wind. Oh my! Even with a drawstring a strong wind can blow it off my noggin and I have to chase it. 😆 Here in Minneapolis, I'm chasing time to get my plant stash in the ground, I've lost several due to lack of watering. I am nearly finished with a new bed (1 spirea left). I can't wait until they leap. Narrow bed to conceal neighbors' chain link fence/trash bins contains: a few annuals (this year, white Sunpatience, yellow craspedia, dark red coleus), 1 'Karl Foerster' grass, 3 'Sting' arborvitae spaced 2 feet apart, 1 'Chartreause On the Loose' nepeta, a couple more 'Karl Foerster' grasses, 1 DA 'Princess Alexandra of Kent' rose (it has several buds!), 'Candy Corn' spirea (which I may triple next year) and a gorgeous lilac, 'Virtual Violet', that has an amazingly intense fragrance. Maybe next year I can take a break and sit back to enjoy all my labors. I have Jenny's Power Planter auger and it's a game changer. But even in my sandy soil I struggle digging deep enough holes for things like bare-root roses. So much prep involved before I can get plants in the ground. It's kind of demoralizing. The future will be better.
Your berm is beautiful and so enjoy your videos to help us learn so much! I just have to tell you how beautiful you look today…. I’m loving your hat!!🥰
Thank you for sharing this update been following this process. Look great thank you for always been real showing us the good and bad. Yo always insire me. You look so cute with that outfit.
Jenny I was curious to see how the lantana was doing for you all. I’m in central Texas (moved us from an 8b to 9a). I planted goldengate lantana from PW 3 years ago. Mine is huge! I was very surprised to see how few blooms you all had. Mine is covered and has been covered in blooms for a while. We are a little hotter than you, perhaps that’s why 🤷♀️. I will say, I hit them with a quick tease of fertilizer when I’m fertilizing my petunias in the same bed. I only started doing that because I noticed one was smaller than the other and thought maybe a little fertilizer would help it and it did! Love you guys and Jenny, I love how you garden and you’re not afraid of color! Blessings to you, your family and staff!
Berms add beauty and privacy to your home. I am considering adding a very small one to my front yard. Your tour has given me some great ideas for planting. Thank you. Also, how far back are you cutting the Asmonia?
Jenny, I cannot believe those hibiscus! They look fantastic. I live in Arizona.(hubs and I recently visited you and Jerry 🍋❤). I have several denim and lace Russian sage. Because we are so hot, their first set of blooms are spent. Have you ever trimmed yours before and seen a second flush?
You are fine girl we can’t be perfect great job your family business is great lots of work and expensive business. Hope you sell it all . Beautiful gardens you have
Will the Playin’ the Blues Salvia be a perennial for you? The berm looks beautiful! Love the combination of the panicle hydrangeas with the luminary phlox. So striking!! 😍
Love your outfit this morning!! Especially the hat! Also beautiful berm
love it all including the hat as well! Hoping Jenny will share where she got it?!
I want to know where she got her white top!
Yes- I came to say all of this! Jenny you look super stinkin’ cute!
Anyone wish Jenny would tell us where she buys her clothing?
Love when you insert photos of when you first planted something for comparison. Also love the drone shots.
Thanks much ❤
It’s not as intimidating when you have access to all the plants they do!
Actually we all can start seeds or propagate to reduce plant costs and we can adjust timeliness as budgets dictate. However, I admit to pretty serious equipment envy!

I have to agree with Jerry. The hedge effect is pretty when deep green and glorious when it transitions to yellow.
