@@EdwardMarstonBv I can play it correctly but I sometimes mess it up. I sometimes struggle with being on time if I'm not playing to backing track and no I don't think I could write something like this on guitar I ain't that good.
@@swirlyspaghetti5102 wrong, he got in guns in 85, he started playing at the age of 15, and at the age of 18 which was 1983 he was in tidus sloan or roadcrew(dont remember which one of the two), so he got in guns at the age of 20 in 1985
Just the guitar alone wants to make me get up and dance, let alone the other instruments! I always thought that Slash has an awesome groove in his playing.
@@BeatMachine3000 I actually learned it 😂. It’s not very difficult if you realize that the part is a chromatic succession with seventh diminished chords (played on the first 4 strings). To understand the first chord I suggest you to focus on one of the 4 voices of the chord (for example the melody on the third string, which is a little bit more clear) and try to play the first note on the guitar and then play all the chords
This is so wicked. Well I have read the book he wrote some time ago and i remeber very well what he wrote about the time when they produced afd... He plays this song exactly the way you would expect given his Lifestyle at this time.. he was living at the hell house at that time..
Try listening to Izzy’s part. These guys are incredible. Wish I could get the story straight where the riff came from. I heard it was a riff from a guitarist duff knew in an early Seattle band
Not if yur really listening. That’s the best type of music. All the really tasty stuff is buried underneath tasty stuff and the more you listen the more really tasty stuff you discover
Sir, though Slash played like this, in the verse riffs, in my own opinion you combined Slash's riffs and Izzy in the riffs? Cause Slash used one single strings for those verse riffs. ruclips.net/video/IhJD-fyqVTw/видео.html
Can you imagine being in the room with slash while recording this? 😳
Trenton Crouse id be shitting myself knowing that history would be in the making
You most likely wouldn’t be in the recording booth but there’s always a possibility.
Si eso
Hearing his solos give me chills
It would be nothing but just receiving a heaven 😌😌
Never get tired of listening to that man play guitar.
Am I the only one who loves his tone even out of the mix?
No
Nope
This is so straight in your face, so aggressive, so sloppy and yet so differentiated…love it!
Me too!
There is no any aggression. It's all curved and crooked, irregular. All bends are out of key, vibrato is just like a sick goat's bleating.

I absolutely love this! God bless Slash he’s amazing! Greatness among us on the guitar.
Hearing just one role played really makes you realize just how much work goes into writing a song
Reminder that he recorded this when he was 21
After playing for like 5-6 years.... I'm at 19 years, not even close ^^
@@rhm3408 ive been playing 3 years self taught and i can play the whole song on my guitar.
@@matthewcusey8227 Yes, but correctly, on time and, can you write something like that?

i LOVE this sequence of licks
Same here! I was just checking that out. I'm learning this song and a lot of the subtleties get lost in the final mix...
RIP headphone users.
Jk. This is awesome
Listen it with the lowest volume
@@Jc2.004 with the loudest not with the lowest!
I love how it sounds heavy and sloppy
...that's the heroin. Just kidding.
Yea you can really get his tone better by listening to it isolated, its cool to see how it all mixes so nice together.
@@codecodderson3607 His tone actually sounds really processed and gainy but the mastering of the track changes his actual tone loads too I guess

No thanks
That’s how you get the best experience.
Like floating on a cloud of titties....
So sloppy yet so tight at the same time. I could listen to his and Stradlin’s isolated guitars all day.

Slash does not joke and care. ''this is what i have for you', if you don't like it...go away''
I listen to this at least once a day
At first I thought its some one doing a cover! But then you would recognize slash in his playing more than you would his face
3:29 fuck yes
Slash è il più forte di tutti
Dude had only been playing guitar for 4 years at this point! Crazy.
Che groove!!!

Genuine question, how do you isolate a single guitar track like this?
Moises.
Podes subir la guitarra de izzy por favor gracias
