It's a gem. I know this indicator is really old but i tried the new ones and i still like this the best. i know its not so accurate for the lower time frames but its working fairly well so far.

Thank you for sharing, amazing trades, I try for five different pairs in my practice trading platform and forget them for few days and was amazed for results, few losses and gains but at the end I make some virtual money. I promise will do it again watching more careful and I am sure it's great strategy !
I just set this up and think using a 200 ema (only buys above and only sells below) would make it even more accurate, and help it for smaller timeframes like 1-4hr 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing these tips, this is really awesome. One thing I noticed is that these tools seem to be a bit more accurate in picking out those long buy / sell cycles when trading is bullish. Right now while we’re seeing a lot of bearish trends, it seems like it’s picking buys that end up breaking even or going lower than the buy point. The cool thing about that though is that these reduced profit margins can be used to spot large scale flips in momentum, possibly indicating the beginning of a bear market. Thanks for sharing these indicators, I’ll be utilizing these immediately.

They are all great if you can get consistent and learn them well. There's no magic bullet of just one that's the best. You have to test them out to see which strategy matches your trading style.

OK, just came across this and it looks interesting, so I'm testing it out. I find when you change the period, aka YTD, 1Y, 3M, etc, the ribbon could change from green to red, and vice versa. SOOOOO, what time period should this be used for? I just saw a period for CHD and say a BUY signal back in March 29, 2021 with no sell signals indicated, although the ribbon did turn red a couple of times. Now, for the period I'm looking at that would give me a 7.3% gain OVER that period. Yes, i know this is for day and swing trading, and the example I gave doesn't fit that, BUT I wanted to get some clarification on the time period this should be used for. Thanks!

I think to avoid market noise(on shorter time frames especially)using Heikin ashi candles would be useful on same time.

I'm not sure what changes you could make at different time frames.
You have to factor in more things like shorting right cause that blows out the indicator.

Longer time frames work best but it also works on shorter ones, but has more market noise.
