It's so important this video comes up to me at this time. I am dealing with something in my personal life and I actually thought about P's avoidant attachment style and your relationship just yesterday. And today your video shows up, and there's some very useful information here for my own situation. So thank you!

The Universe (or should I say University) is always leading us to those people and events that encourage growth. I have found we continue to pull in the same type people until we heal that part of ourselves that pulls them in. So when a couple mutually decide to strive to grow inside of their relationship, this is a goldmine. 👏👏👏
You two have grown and are still growing and I for one have grown by watching you together. I have learned by watching.
    🙏Thank You Sadie and P. 🙏

I love those paintings! It’s like the face is a close up of a woman holding a rose 🌹 and smelling it, and then you painted the rose she is holding so that we can see it! Did you mean for that to be the meaning/connection?
    Anyways, bravo! Truly Beautiful!❤

To the letter writer I would suggest (based on my personal experience) to try expressing your emotions ánd your boundaries(!) more clearly, however vulnerable or scary this might be. Thats where the learning and healing is at.
When something you experience as painful occurs try focusing exclusively on your own feelings and boundaries, communicate them and register how her response is to you. Take your time for this. In the heat of the moment it all might seem foggy. Try to recognize which part of you wants/needs a different response 'the hurt child' or 'the healthy and caring adult'. If the latter, you should communicate this as a boundary and possibly sit with the pain of this person not being able to be present for you the way you need or feel you deserve within a relationship. A conlusion forms in this process. Sitting with pain means breaking free from it. Over time you will naturally step away from your partner or whatever the healthy adult in you wants for you to happen.
Its a difficult and demanding experience, which asks from you to look at your trauma, upbringing and why you attract and want what you want. It needs you to care for yourself in a way you havent yet fully before, probably in a way you havent received care from upbringers before.
All the best, you got this 💪

Those are gorgeous paintings! Wow! Sadie you’ve got talent girl!
And I hate to tell you this but those paintings are WAY too high above the couch. You really need to rehang them down at least a foot. I know hanging sucks but they will look so much better if you bring them down. Research this (google is your friend) and you’ll see what I mean.

Compared to the couch they may be a little high but compared to the ceiling they’re actually hung really low! Check my instagram if you don’t believe me 😅 we have really high ceilings.

Getting out of a relationship with a narcissists is not a simple as just leaving them.....by the time you realise something is not quite right they have already insinuated themselves into your emotional fabric, and the pain and sadness you feel is them jerking your chain ....over and over and over ... the longer you stay the harder it will be to get away
    But get away you must
All strength to you letter writer

Yep, I was thinking she sounds narcissistic before she even mentioned it. This poor girl needs to break up with her girlfriend. That relationship sounds miserable. Her girlfriend does not love her. 😢 Time to let go and be alone for awhile to heal and then find someone who loves and respects her.
The avoidant/anxious dynamic is different though. The girlfriend in the email sounds narcissistic, not just avoidant. If you’re in a avoidant/anxious relationship, and the avoidant person is sincerely willing to get help (many are not) then that can be worked on and get better. But if the other person is a narcissist, I would just leave. It’s so hard because they are good at pretending to love you. But it truly is not love. You deserve and can find real love. It’s a beautiful thing when you find it. Hugs

Oh yes, be afraid of emotional intimacy. My emotional intimacy lead to a perfect 30 year marriage that was ended by cancer in 2021. My wife was only 49. It's been 3 years since she's been gone and I am human wreckage. So yeah, fear emotional intimacy.
