Ron Amen! Said so very true I totally 💯percent agree with you. We were talking about how we grew up and didn't have to worry about anything. We could leave the door unlocked and walk to get penny candy from the corner store. Then when I had my son 86 he was able to go to football games. I didn't have to worry that much. He got in the Firefighter Explorer program at 13 yrs old .where he would learn everything a firefighter needs to do after a year he was able to go out on the calls. Then drive by shooting started and other things happened. I was called the craziest Mom in the world. I would just smile and say yes I've always been crazy but my son is not out getting into trouble. Then I had my daughter in 96 then I started worrying a little bit more but her big Bubba was very protective he would sneak up on her to make sure no one was hurting her and when she got her first boyfriend he chased him off that was a good thing. K
Now today We worry so much about Our Grandkid's,Family and Friends with the how world is today. I'm still the Craziest Mom. But very proud of my son he became a firefighter then a Sheriff Officer and now a Paramedic. He still does Volunteer Firefighting and works for the Sheriff department if they are short of help his full time paramedic. My daughter at 15 got her CNA and a nurse today. Everyday I worry about my love ones, friend's and strangers. I do tell the people that still says I craziest mom I look at them and say my son and daughter both doing the jobs they absolutely love and if something happens to them on the job. They died helping others out and they absolutely love doing their Dream jobs.

I am getting showers of blessings watching Joey & Rory express their love through action and song. I miss this heavenly duo since she passed away. I've shed a many a tear watching her sing the song (When I'm Gone) for a friend's who's mother who had Cancer years before Joey passed with the same thing in 2016.
