I bought the dashcam before your video came out 😅
It arrived few days ago and needs a bit of getting used to..regarding the cables, i noticed ddpai did mention to run the wiring towards the right side of the car, thus avoiding the "design fault" (as yours was run towards the left side)
Hardwiring kit is required for parking mode and time lapse. you cannot use parking mode using USB via 12v lighter socket.

@@EGG11996 I think because the USB port is not "turned on" or receive power when the car is off. Hence you need to connect the dashcam to the car battery straight away so that it can tap into the power without depending on the car whether it is on or not.
I believed the "all positive, all pink butterflies" reviews by other youtubers and bought it (atleast for a good price). I mean the camera is not bad, good for "install and forget". I just wish that more reviewers talk also about the negatives and not only positives.
Is the 4k resolution the only improvement it has over the Z40?

Need to connect tightly for rear cam socket if not won't work
App is fixed on ios 16. I can see GPS data when viewing the video in the app. Sense reality not working. But I think that's just fancy extra, not quite helpful for anything.
Is the time right? Or it is always wrong 1hr shift as he mentioned?
