i drilled this today. had alot of trouble getting my knee through kept bumping into his shoulder, only when i opened my legs fully could i change the angle. something isnt right.
Two things could be the reason, one you're too flat on your back so when you bend your knee there's not enough space - get to your hip. Two - you need to break your opponent's posture with your knees more to get him closer so when he posts with his hand it lands closer to your shoulder and there's more space.
