I think with your desk, if you reposition it so that your back isn't facing the door, that may help. I live in China and they are all about Feng Shui.
You could move your dresser closer to the window and then move your desk where your dresser is, and have your chair facing towards the rest of the room. That way the energy will run more smoothly through the room ❤

Replace the glass on your desk with a nice piece of timber like oak, much more practical than glass and way prettier..
Remain present in the moment while also strategically planning for the future.

I was in my 40’s before I knew some people didn’t iron before putting their clothes away or even iron at all 😆 I always iron (the items that need it) each load as the clothes are dry before taking them up to our bedrooms to put away. I do it most days (family of 4) to avoid ever having a pile. I actually don’t mind ironing as I often put on a RUclips video. I’ve never tried a steamer though. Do love my steam mop. I often put a drop of lemon/eucalyptus/tea tree essential oil on the fabric pad which smells lovely
Go to Bunnings and get a floor squeege, it comes on a long handle (like a broom) and will be easier on your back, no bending needed.
Hey Rachel - loved having this on while I cleaned! You can always use baking soda and white vinegar to clean your toilet bowl. I use it instead of commercial cleaners bc it is so much cheaper and fewer chemicals.

In regards to your desk - have you ever thought about creating a design like your botanicals from when you were doing your design course but using posca art pens? Or maybe even painting the glass with a glass paint and then designing over the top? xx

Why don't you hang up a shower curtain? It would help so much to not get water everywhere. Esp if it's quit long.
Unfortunately the way it would hang it would drip more water out of the shower and make the flooding worse ❤️

This video shocked me a bit. You use such strong negative words ("hate this desk, worst shower "). You can change these things! For the shower, theres lots of cheap options like rubber bits for the floor etc (rubber threshold or rubber water barrier) to avoid water going into the bathroom. And a bathmat might help too. And you can put something else over your desk (foil, fabric, tabelcloth, piece of wood) so you dont see this paper.
You shocked with too litle. There's love and there's hate. And i think she didn't say that in a negative way.🙄
Since it's her mom's house, and she doesn't plan on staying there long, she's probably just living in that situation until she doesnt have to
