Cool vid. Appreciate you talking to me the other day when you got out on shore. Going to attempt a launch in a few days on my kaboat.

Good advice. You obviously have a lot of sharp objects in your boat - Have you had any issues with punctures and what happens if you get a puncture out on the water?

When I was younger and had my smaller vessel three years ago I wasn’t very responsible back then. So yes I did pop it quite a bit. But it’s not like a balloon where it deflates immediately. There’s three separate chambers, each pontoon is a chamber in the floor is also a separate chamber. I do occasionally put a hole in it every now and then with the one I have now, but it’s very rare. Probably once every three months. When it does happen I have a Quik repair kit with me at all times. It’s basically like flex tape ha ha basically put a small little strip where the hole is and it holds it for the whole day, once I get home I will tear it off and put a proper patch on

@@adventureswithosidekayakguy Thanks for that. Really helpful to learn how to deal with eventual punctures.

Best Of Magnet Fishing your videos are great! This one was helpful. Where can I find the quick repair kit?

If you purchased a scout it should’ve came with your boat, if not, they sell repair kits at West Marine for $20. That includes the glue, the patches, and the waterproof tube. Sorry for the year delayed response

You just spin it around. Just like you would when you’re cleaning it on your outboard stand
