    This video is going to be a mint budget app simple tutorial that will show you EXACTLY how to budget with mint.
    ----------
    The Mint App can be found on mint.com and it's probably the best budgeting app for 2019 and beyond.
    A mint.com budget can be a lifesaving for someone, especially if you're living paycheck to paycheck. This is a simple budget app that probably takes 20 minutes to figure out how to use and just a little longer to master. If you watch this video till the end, you will be a master.
    The first step in taking control of your finances is knowing what you're spending your money on and making a budget is what allows you to do that. This is incredible important and its probably one of the top 5 skills every person should know. For some reason, these things aren't taught in school though, so here I am making videos about them.... sigh

    • @kendraswiley
      @kendraswiley 3 года назад +2

      The only catch that I've found is that there are ads in it trying to sell you credit cards, etc. But otherwise, there's no catch! It's run by Intuit, which also runs TurboTax and QuickBooks, so it's a legitimate financial company. Hope that helps.

    Guys FYI, there is no default way sync your Robinhood account with Mint as Robinhood does not allow it. Therefore you will have to use the extension I attached below to do it. Please do your own research before using it. Since the extension is open source, you can review the code as well.

    Maybe its me but if you add your credit card it double counts things on your budget. For instance, under "shopping" it will say amazon purchases (which I use my credit card for) and when I pay my credit card off it counts this as well as an expense. So it thinks i'm paying twice, once in "shopping" and another in "credit card". Kind of annoying.

My main credit bank is the one where my retirement money goes into and that's what I used to live off of and pay bills. The other one is just for me to have and put money in so my daughter can get money out. Should I use the one that I don't use for the mint account?
