@@danielscissorhands @danielscissorhands no, you are a gate keeper that refuses to recognize reality. I love SoM but the original vocals can't even be compared to Roger's, whom I know and has a huge vocal range beyond Sisters of Mercy. Roger's sang this with so much more ease, technique, soul and in tune compared to Andrew's version.
Roger's vocals has much more presence, darkness and commands your attention. I've shown this to people who hate the original vocals and say Andrew sounds like he's forcing his voice to even cut through the mix, and that he sounds half asleep while he sings.
They even said if Andrew sang like this they'd listen to SoF. And these are goth musicians I'm talking about
