In the 19th century, mirrors were backed with a thin layer of silver, which is believed to be one of the purest metals, perfect for repelling werewolves and vampires. That simple layer of silver is what kept vampires from being able to see their faces in a mirror. Today, mirrors are backed with aluminum, so everyone’s favorite vampires would actually be able to see their reflections.
Both Sunghoon and Niki’s eyes lead to electricity or lightning bolts after they turn their eyes on. Sunoo and Jake both have glowing eyes, as well. Oh and JW posted on Twitter him on the car, but the pic is rotated so it’s heading down
Aren't exit signs a symbol for "the answer"? TXT are so close to each other, they are already in position to beat they problems together if it weren't for their inner sadness and solitude. BTS don't seem close to finding a solution, it's a literal maze so the answer is hard to spot. Exit sings may indicate which way is the right one and give hints. The more there is exit sign the less lost you are sign you're near the exit. If you don't see any or a few you may want to look at them closely and try to find the path that I'll lead you to the exit. The answer.
Sunghoon was the most suspicious to me, he was the only one who was outside the facility during the day. He also looked suspicious in my eyes. The guys running reminds me of BTS' Run
in the scene where jungwon sUsPicIoUsLy closes and opens his eyes, you can see the plate number on the car and it has illinois on it. i guess it implies that the whole thing is set in illinois. i did some research and apparently, chicago is known as second-most vampire-friendly city in the USA with the first being philadelphia. also, about the whole blue and red. the two colours are definitely emphasised . it can be said that blue means magic, but maybe in a more positive connotation. hence red would mean magic in an evil or bad connotation. i feel like the boys may be trying to run away or escape from the red light/‘bad’ magic and towards the blue light/‘good’ magic. this can specifically be seen when the boys are dancing in the blue smoke. there is red smoke seeping it’s way through. it can also be seen when the boys are running towards the uNkNoWn. the uNkNoWn seems to be blue...? anyways, as they run you can see there’s some kind of red sign on the wall of the buildings next to them. i think it implies that no matter how much they try to escape, the red will always follow them. it may also explain why the exit sign is red... this could also symbolise that now that the boys are idols, they can’t go back to their normal lives. it could also explain why the blue is mostly seen static or in a video-like state (e.g the tv or jakes eyes). even if they think that they’re safe and not being watched, they actually are. like the way heeseung is leaning on the tv like it is his safe space or support system...? (idek mate) but then, later on heeseung becomes surrounded by red illuminating through the windows of the buildings around him... anddd i should probably stop thinking about this so much and go start my commerce essay that’s due tomorrow 🤠. have a nice day/night laina ❤️❤️ love your work ✨
But really the exit signs that are always green in both tss and bu But here... I think like you said no mattter where they run to they cant escape (maybe bcoz they were fOrCeD to become vampires?) And now they are and cant go back no matter how much they run
Laina : Like the screen are in his eyes ............................ *_slurps with concetration & confusion_* owh, and i stan your rice cooker :D amazing vocalsss
if all of this is happening in the same timeline, my guess is this mv happens somewhere between fever and drunk-dazed, kinda like the transition?? like laina mentioned we see the kinda hazy effect in the last bit of the mv that resembles d-d and also there are many parallels referencig fever too,,,, like heeseung wearing similar clothes (maybe same even) and the fact that he is still on a bed?? and also the bit with sunoo looking into the mirror kinda seemed to mirror ni-ki in the fever mv?? except this time it was broken.. i wonder what that means
Yes and jake or was it heesung (im so sry im a goldfish) they were in that room with a huge bed and tv (in fever i think) and like hes in bed in a room with a tv (just a bit older kinda like that one in the fever mv was more modern and this is more kinda ancient)
I wanted to comment on that part if the music video where Heeseung was using the phone to see the vampire filter. It kinda reminds me of in one of you txt universe theories you said that somethings could only be see through a screen or mirror (Like in the Crown mv). So I was thinking maybe Heeseung is seeing that he is a vampire by using the phone. Or he could be just playing around with filters but it just seems a little out of place. Edit: He was using a devil filter, my bad. Now I thinking that maybe he sees himself as a bad guy then?
I think the sun is actually what they need. Like, the sun gives you energy, you can live your life and go on adventures as a young person... Engene also refers to something that needs electric energy (or other) to provide mechanic energy and move forward. I guess if they wanna be normal boys they gotta get in the sun, not dive in the obscurity. They'll gain humanity, strength and self, they'll shine brighter as idols. I don't really know. But they need to get away from the people who mistreat/use them. Either make their new rules or learn to live that way on a path to find happiness. Or something.
Those reflections had me second guessing everything too. I went back to the original trailer and when Heeseung was laying on the mirror he had a reflection, and it wasn’t until he stood up that he stopped having one. So this is their transition time along with Fever, since they’re wearing the same white clothes. I think, since Enhypen is upside down, their colors are backwards. Red is their fantasy and blue is reality. I got that feeling from their dawn/dusk versions of Day One. I could be totally wrong because I haven’t fully gone into this storyline yet. I’m still stuck trying to figure out why Soobin and Beomgyu have their main stat switched and Taehyun’s main stat is INT when he’s a Sorcerer. If anyone has any idea about that I’d love to know.
Heeseung looked at the mirror like we're inside of it, like we're watching him from there, and then the tv it's shown. It reminded me of I-Land, where cameras were hidden near mirrors/in the mirrors (?)
Idk its related or not but at the end of txt's concept trailer we saw that ice around yeonjun started melting after the girl appeared in his eye and his eye started glowing too . Love your vids btw ^^♡
The part with the exit signs is bc they are trapped in a time loop maybe that's the point with the "past" scenes in given-taken korean ver. When Jongwon find a way to allow his fangs to grow and be with the other members maybe he did the same thing over and over again until he managed to get inside
Thanks Laina, we've been waiting for this!! Well now I'm just gonna hope that ENHYPEN's Universe will fit in my head because my brain is just cramped with TXT's Universe storyline now lol
Also: Am I the only one seeing correlations between this EN- MV and BTS' RUN MV? 1. Jungwon standing infront of the car, the scene is shot like JK's scene at the end of RUN MV, where he stands infront of a car and it's being shot from the inside of the car? 2. How the EN- boys are running and the scene has the same colors and vibe as a lot of running scenes in BTS' RUN? 3. The bathtub and the bed imagery: of how they're pulling their legs in and how they're in some bathtub, that's been also a re-occurring theme in BTS' past work. 4. Even the way Sunghoon smiled/screamed towards the end of the MV reminded me so much of what type of reactions BTS' members had while running. So I wonder if those small things are done in order to connect the different stories together, maybe?
My theory is that fever comes just before / slightly overlapping with this MV as fever is likely a ‘fever dream’ of them hallucinating while transitioning throughout both given-takens. In fever, niki is shown corrupting sunghoon (aka turning him) and then later niki, sunoo and jake are the only ones seen with glitter meaning these are the current vampires at this point in the timeline. Whereas in this MV, jake, sunghoon and niki are definitely already vampires at the start of the video (fangs, eyes, turning into bats, umbrellas etc) and both sunoo and heeseung are still in the process of turning (hence the bandaids, why we can see heeseung’s reflection and they are locked up (probably in the same place as Korean g-t MV)). I believe it is Jake that has bitten them since we see him showing off his fangs and the three of them are together in drunk dazed for the cake scene. (Side note: I think this scene is indicative of like a clan war with jake and his offspring? And niki and his, and jungwon is trapped in the middle) Then, in Korean version sunoo bites jungwon (the last member to be turned) FOR Jake. I think jake is the one pulling the strings here because a) we see him try to bite jungwon in the debut trailer so we know he must have motive and b) in fever jake is seen like briefing? Sunoo in the first verse and c) Sunoo probably has some loyalty or obligation to Jake since it was him that turned Sunoo. Also, jungwon is thought to be stepping onto jakes car (as seen in debut trailer) indicating he holds jake responsible. also think that Sunoo’s iconic line about blue turning red is about him switching sides to go against jake which we see his plan start to unfold in drunk dazed. When it comes to jay I’ve seen some stuff about him being a half blood (maybe even a damphir a type of vampire hunter) which is why we never see him being turned or bitten cos he was born this way. We also never see him use powers, he’s always just lurking and we can see he is still warm blooded through the thermal camera and has his face is in the sun and is sweating etc in fever. Also I love how in the final chorus they are bathed in red light despite the entire set being blue indicating that they no longer fit in with the natural world.
what if this is a virtual reality or video game like TXT? I mean the two worlds kinda connect right... what if it's the same 'game' like TXT. Or a hunger games like thing where people could watch the tributes fight eachother to the throne... which could be like a reference to I-Land. Honestly idk I'm kinda sticking to this thing between &Team and EN- and I-Land
I've been always wondering about this, like in this mv, as you mentioned too that sunghoon and ni-ki are the ones who transform into bats/vampires (???) and sunghoon and ni-ki are also the ones who almost always have a duo choreo part 👀 like in given-taken mv they have a part together, then in flicker choreo (not completely but they do have a almost back to back part) next fever have one part and mixed up does too uhhh idk if its important or not but there's definitely something to it!!
i think that the mirror in sunoo could maybe be the same mirror with niki's scene in fever? idk just reminded me of it, cant wait for the fever vid tho!!
9:11 im sure i saw the like same "member seeing themselves w/ a filter' in Crown, also for the building sets (like the apartments with various red lights) it reminds me of the buildings at the end of 0X1=LOVESONG.
heres my uncompleted theory of mine: I have a feeling that G-T was inspired by sweet home from Webtoon so in the first moment that caught my eyes is Sunoo opening the bandage around his neck. Usually, for vampires, vampires has vampire bites but Sunoo doesnt have it as shown. Also, Sunoo was actually shown in the mirror so that actually means that he is NOT a vampire. Also for Heeseung, hes wearing a bandage around his neck and was shown in a mirror. As of Jay, I have prediction that he is not a vampire. The moment when he was in the hallways, he was wearing similar clothes to both Sunoo and Heeseung. Also, do you notice when Sunghoon and Ni-ki turns into bats, they show Jay there too? But instead of turning into bats he ran instead. Now it's obvious that Sunghoon and Ni-Ki turned into bats because they're vampires. I'm not sure about Jungwon but if there was actually connection to Given-Taken then Jungwon is a vampire as you can see, he was bitten by Jake (who's a vampire) At the ending, you can see Enhypen running but if you look closely, you can see that Sunoo wasn't there so it's probably them chasing after Sunoo BUT what got me confuse is that during the running part, some of their clothes changed and Heeseung's bandage on his neck disappeared so I have prediction that this was probably another universe or time changed. Also! As I searched down, red light means "friend in danger". So when the hallways turned red it probably signaled Jay that his friend (Sunoo) in in trouble Another thing I seached is "red smoke". From what i found, it was almost close. It means the smell of a stranger's blood when they leave the bathroom room. So it could mean that Sunoo left the bathroom with no bandage around his neck. The blue eyes probably signaled the vampires and the red lights signaled the people. Also the right sign means warning But! My predictions MAY not be correct because when Ni-Ki was inside the telephone box, you can see that he walked out of the box. From what I think, he probably was trying to call for help but no one answered so he decided to go out but then he got bit. But what makes me unsure is that if he did got bit, they wouldve added a clip there. Also, I still cannot manage to know about the computer. But as I mentioned before, it was probably inspired by Sweet Home. There's a moment+
When Hyun (MC) used his laptop and checked the news, he also quarantine himself. So possibly Heeseung was doing the same. ALSO what made me confuse is that Sunoo was shown in the bathroom still in the last few clips. AND you can see theres a moment when Sunoo was out, you can see 4 people holding umbrellas (which I think are the vampires because one you can see that they are wearing a Jean jacket and black clothing Heeseubg was also wearing one), Sunoo was wearing black clothing so it meant something else. Anyways, that's the only think Also I have prediction that Sunghoon probably started it because in the first clip of the mv, you can see Sunghoon there holding an unbrella
i think that hee and sunoo just developed their abilities a bit later, because i think they stole that one car jungwon „attacked“ and drove to the forest to escape something- maybe k? (we see the car in debut trailer 2, just like how heeseung and sunoo lost their reflection and teleported) so somehow they lost each other and jake was the only one in the car left, but he didn’t sit at the front so he didnt drive it. I’m also not sure about jay because we have never seen him doing or having vampire stuff, but i think jake might have bitten him in this music video, because in jays hallway scene and the one where jake looks into the mirror, the backround and lights are the same. this is so intERESTING AAAA
Around 2:25 in the mv, jungwon steps on top of a glowing red car. the same car made an appearence in the groups second debut trailer, dusk-dawn, with jake looking wistfully outside the window in the back seat. in both Fever and given-taken japanese version, all the enhypen members wear loose witted white clothes that are eerily similar. i believe that they may be connected, with fever being a hallucination. the members are having in the institution from given taken jpn ver. this is also parallels the past and timelines where the boys are given meds. the runnign scenes are also similar to bts run. i guess that the most of hybe artists music videos take place in some other universe or mostly the magic island location. ' at the very beginning of the video, heesung takes a look at his refelction inside of a mirror. this mirror just so happens to be a shaped like sun, directly referencing the lyrics " Dive into red sun, no lie". this means that they are waking up on day 1 & "Dive into red sun". on the wall we see heesung's reflection INSIDE a sun mirror & in drunk-dazed Their refelction scared them coz it showed the truth behind their mask, the vampire. enhypen stries revolve around the vampire concept, however heesung and sunoo can see their reflections in both korean and japanese version of given taken, therefore these two music videos may be look into the groups past rather than the present future. notice how the boys have reflection and how all of them could stand under the sun in given-taken both versions. Vampires do not have reflections and they cannot go out in the sun. that means border: day one and border: hakanai show us the past where enhypen (exept jake) are only humans
idk but after I watched that mv, something came up with my mind. I think the in GIVEN-TAKEN JAPANESE VER is something related to little nightmares 2(the tv obsession/teleport through tv) maybe a wormhole and the promise neverland ss2(running/fighting for 2nd time, as the kids trg to save others idk😅). idk and that is what I see hahahahahaha. edit and in little nightmare 2 six looks like a traitor as he try to let go the hands of player and let it fall then left. and maybe jake is one of the traitor cause I just heard in.tst that jake's eyes looks like a wolf. idk again hahahahaha
**gasp** that might be.... him..... just a thought tho... but maybe it was him... but in Eternally, it was at the end where it was a elevator, not just a normal hall like this one...
I'm sooo confused about them having fangs and still having a reflection. And why it focused on Jake specifically, like his fangs are present, his eyes turn blue, he seems like a powerful character.
Maybe it’s because you can only see them in their reflection or not reality like in txt... they did put that one scene in the video where one of the members has devil horns when he’s looking at his phone...? I think it was a phone, idk, I’m guessing
@@appreciatewhatyouhaveandbe1067 Yess indeed. But to me Jake gives off very strong vibes, not only in this MV, but through out their whole storyline. I don't really know why tho.
Oh I was SO excited to see your thoughts! I kept checking your profile!!! I can’t wait for a Border: Carnival and Border: Hakanai breakdown (and I’m DOWN with another hour and 20 vid😂)
the running scenes accompanied by the focus on the exit sign give me MAJOR Let Me In vibes, not just because of them being in the glass boxes (maybe they were getting out at the end) but also they were running in and out of places through the mv, especially in the museum type-set and exhibit
the mv itself just gives Let Me In vibes, with the mirrors and the telephone booth. the way they set up the indivual shots as well (I don't know the word for it since I don't know much about cinamatography) how every member feels kind of isolated in the sets (e.x: In the hallway it looks like jay is kinda in the box because of the lighting and angle)
So, I'm not done watching the video and this a theory based on nothing since I just woke up and don't remember about Enhypen's Universe. But what if their vampire transformation represented how the world makes them to feel like because they're surrounded by social medias and being watched, having high expectations on them. It could be a commentary on being an idol or just growing up during this age. Idkkkk, I received a phone call while writing this comment so even I don't what I'm trying to say awymore. 6:17 I had no idea I was onto something. 🥸
It's okay if you don't do an explained video for Fever but please make a video that explains Border Carnival and the connection of it from Border Day One
5:27 IA? Robots... Cyborgs? I don't know if you know the singer Poppy, basically her concept for a long time was that was a robot, I'm getting Poppy vibes. 🤖
Adding onto the “being recorded/watched” theme: doesn’t the font of the title (At beginning and end) make the “G” look like a replay-button? Maybe that’s on purpose too
Also, the red and blue light are both artificial. The red kinda makes me think of black chambers where you develop photographes, or a butcher's lighting. In their universe their main source of light is always artificial. And they look like they're being alienated. The blue light could be them being watch over by a public or someone else. If it is a public tho it might not be entirely bad. Just get in the sun boys! Maybe you don't feel worthy or you feel hideous because of the vampire transformation, so it may physically hurt if they go in the sun, like real vampires. But y'all are cool, and the seven of you go through the same thing, and you don't exactly do good things but it's because you lost your innocence by the hands of someone else. So discover that other world by yourself! The bright one. Bro, I have no idea what I'm saying anymore.
jake probably bit jay the moment after he looked into the mirror, because the backround and lights in jays and jakes scene are both the same- just that we can’t see jake during the jay hallway scene?
i am really curious about the umbrellas, I mean we have seen some all over the hybe universe ....i am sure it means loads ...pools and umbrellas these 2
I think in drunk-dazed sunoo knew K was behind him and so he somehow turned the lights off to.. be able to see him? or idk, but like he turns as if he knew, and he's calm, but we couldn't see K behind him before the lights were off
Just dropping my random theory that doesn't even have Connection with this vid: MOA the Dead girl in txt is actually engene's sister, Cause they both Make each other group(I hope you know what I Mean) and enhypen and txt were in the same timeline too, in magic island mv (if I was not mistaken) yeonjun actually feel the presence of enhypen. If you realise in the Let me in mv they had the same forest. But when yeonjun tries to maybe Find them Chaos Happen. And about the Siblings Thing among MOA and engene, I just feel a Connection between them, so Dont mind me. I actually saw a theory video in tiktok but it only explains a little then suddenly this theory pops in my head, anyway thanks For reading and pls excuse me Cause I Want to continue the vid, have a Nice day
Do you mean the girl that was in a high pedestal in drunk dazed is the same girl as moa that appears in Yeonjun's eye in the chaos chapter freeze trailer...
my theory is that this car- the one jungwon is „attacking“- is the same as the one in debut trailer two, where jake is inside. (jake was not driving the car, because he didn’t sit at the front) jungwon attacked the owner of the car? it would make sense, because they are almost all showing their powers, so it means that for example: heeseung was bitten- develops his abilities in the debut trailer because he has no reflection. so maybe they stole that car and drove to the forest because they are obviously running away from something, probably k? they somehow must’ve lost each other on the way to the forest though, but got back together in the end. when heeseung was searching for something and the lights in those apartments turned red, we could see a silhouette of a person in one room from outside.
OK but see how blue is mostly associated with txt and blue magic is considered good magic and red color us mostly associated with enha and it's like corrupted magic...
They did it before in the choose-chosen video which was why I focused on it, so if they suddenly don’t go with it, it’s a shift from what they’ve previously shown
Oh yas! The perfect video to start my day (and I have coffee and cake for breakfast, yay!) Thank you for this video! 💕🌼 Edit: Sunghoon and Niki, they have a dance part together in Given-Taken and Fever 🤔
I mean i don't understand a lot of what you were saying but at least i got like the vibe of what you were trying to say and it all kinda make sense.. **writing down again intensifies**
Sometimes I think abt the fact that lights sometimes turn red on energy saving mode... if we take it quite literally its known that mythical creatures need energy to do some things.. but I also think that the red light is doing something to them, like making them do things. Because we can see multiple times in multiple mvs (especially let me in) that the members were instantly drawn to it while niki was also nervous. If it would just be simple red lights he would never be nervous. Also in one part of the Japan version Heeseung is running away from the red light until his light turns light again. We can also see the lights going off and going on again so it might just be them putting on the red light on purpose. Well if it is on purpose then why are they putting it on? Whats the purpose of those light, whats the reason for them? And then again, if they do it on purpose why exactly would they put something on that isn't exactly or obviously helpful or terrifies them?
I don't really now for what reason but somehow the road that they are running on really reminds me of the one that txt were attacked on by the other magicians and then made the deal with the cat.
I have a feeling that the exit signs are supposed to be like get out escape while you can. maybe trying to symbolize that there’s still time left for them to leave I’m not sure that’s what I was getting from that
the link of.two world in lyrics, the EXIT SIGN and the TV. and maybe they manage to escape and go that hotel, stay and reason whay they wear white, cause everyone of them is in a healing process. but what if someone is following them(the man standing in the window) and the reason they run(aside from they're already healed and discovered the powers they have.
The red light made me think of txt's can't you see me?... i think most of all, it symbolizes some type of uncontrollable emotion or situation, like danger or some kind of warning to the characters, but also it could be a representation of their power, it depends on how we look at it. My take on the mv is that they're escaping the facility that had them constricted into a mold. In the korean version they were struggling with their identities so they hadn't escaped yet, but in the japanese one, they already had suffered their transformation into a mythical creature (I can't help but take it as a metaphor of their journey as artists, because in korean given-taken they were debuting, but now they already are idols) Sorry for rambling 😅
Idk if it's important but I wanna point out the scene where they're running; they were smilling(esp hoonie), and sunoo was not in the 1st shot then he just suddenly appear running with them.
I want HYBE to make a music video named HYBE Universe and then it explains the connections of every group and at the end they team up to fight the Cat? Dragon? Black Smoke? Thing.
this may be out of context but i just noticed something. at the start of "Drunk-Dazed", there's a lyric that says 'in a *world* with *no rules* '... idk how they're connected, but we know that a hybe group literally used these two words in their recent comeback...
Okay this mv confuses me so much. I noticed a couple of things and I have no idea what these mean :) -not all of the members had bandaids on their necks (or I am just blind lol) -as far as I noticed, Heeseung, Jay and Jungwon don’t have these blue static eyes -Sunghoon seems like he has already transformed into a vampire (umbrella, gloves, the bats around him, the red light) and in let me in mv he was the one with the cape.. that’s kinda sus tho - Jake seems to be a vampire but his reflection confuses me so much like ??? also he appears a lot in red light.. and the car.. who is sitting in the car that is in front of Jungwon? I remember Jake sitting in a car in one of their other videos but I don’t think he’s in the car in this mv? -0:36- 0:44 the scene between Jake and Jay reminds me so much of theirs in g-t Korean version.. a debate? fight? What’s going on? Is Jay running away from him in the end? Hybe please explain, this is too much for my brain cells - Jay in the end seems to either try to find the exit (the exit sign is mostly associated with him in this mv) or he just runs away I don’t know, maybe he wants to escape from this building.. someone is standing at a window at ~ 3:00 is that him? -Jay’s hallway reminds me of a hospital (connection to g-t Korean version?) - Jungwon is just suspicious, he seems to not be afraid of the car hitting him (alright I mean it seems like the car is just standing there but still haha), then he jumps on top of the car (only he is enlightened in red, the background is blue) and the inside of the car turns even more red.. suspicious -Jay and Jungwon both wear red belts in the first dancing scene (or it’s just the lightning and I’m a clown) - Sunoo and the bathroom with blocked windows and crashed mirror.. kinda reminds me of fever mv -Sunoo appears a lot in red light -around 1:55 when Sunoo’s pre chorus is playing all lights+TV are turned off -at 1:57 everyone except for Sunoo is holding an umbrella.. kinda sus - Heeseung hiding from the sun, his clothes and just the whole room remind me again of fever+ at ~2:18 he is all alone and running away/ escaping from something just like in the beginning of fever -when he starts singing “wake up in day one” he actually seems super tired -the mirror in Hee’s room looks like a sun and with much imagination it may remind you of the glasses in fever mv (for instance when they were dancing in the hall-> background, when they were sitting behind the swimming pool) -why is Heeseung shown with the devil’s filter? Suspicious since he wasn’t fully shown in red light as far as I noticed.. maybe he’s trying to stay on the good side, in blue light.. I don’t know -Hee appears a lot in blue lightning. He kinda seems to know that we/ the world is watching them (the way he approaches the mirror and him being in frame with a TV give me these vibes).. in addition to that the mirror kinda looks like camera lenses -Ni-ki confounds me once again. In the end, when they run in the streets, Ni-Ki is a little apart from them on the right sidewalk.. I don’t know whether this was on purpose or not lol -Ni-Ki is in one of his solo shots in this phone box (trapped like in let me in?), then he gets out, in the end he’s sitting on top of that box.. kinda sus -the piece of paper shown at 1:27 “shoes ...rtle boy” isn’t “RTLE” written on the left side when the play button appears at 0:35? rtle seems to be some term in neurology, but maybe there is something in front of the letters that we can’t see.. or I am starting to see things that are not there Please bear with me, trust me actually I am capable of great English, my brain just can’t handle all of these information lol edit: Alright I think I’m just a clown since their belts are black in their dance shot in front of the building, so I guess it was just the lights lol btw the time stamps are from the actual mv :)
the weird eyes- jake was looking into nikis eyes with a flashlight in the korean version, probably to check if he also had them. when jake (oh well it could be heeseung too :0) walked past niki during their mEdIcAl check up (when jungwon had to open his mouth) niki was looking at jake for a split second with a suspicious face, and thats why jake is soooo suspicious to me, because the place he checked nikis eyes was his prison room thing(like we see in the making of): so how did he find niki/ get inside?
i fell like they are not your normal stereotypical vampire. A lot of the time, their vampire side appears digitally, like they are created and curated to appear like vampire but they're not really. Like some sort of AI
*"something strange is going on"*
the HYBE universe sumed up in one sentence
I love this comment cause it’s so true!! 😂
Jungwon: closes and opens his eyes
Laina: *that's kinda sus tho*
When you become a theorist everything becomes suspicious 🧐😂😂

In the 19th century, mirrors were backed with a thin layer of silver, which is believed to be one of the purest metals, perfect for repelling werewolves and vampires. That simple layer of silver is what kept vampires from being able to see their faces in a mirror. Today, mirrors are backed with aluminum, so everyone’s favorite vampires would actually be able to see their reflections.
I wonder if hybe interns are pressurised by laina's videos and turn any mistake into an Easter egg 😂 cuz she is immaculate with her predictions!!
What does easter egg mean?
@@sedra4632 they are small hidden hints which big hit drops in their concept photos or mvs.

(idek mate) but then, later on heeseung becomes surrounded by red illuminating through the windows of the buildings around him...
anddd i should probably stop thinking about this so much and go start my commerce essay that’s due tomorrow 🤠. have a nice day/night laina ❤️❤️ love your work ✨
laina you must see this-
Wait, there’s something as second-most-friendly-vampire-city in the USA???
@@itzelwisteria1819 i’m not sure i don’t live in the usa. i just did some research haha

But here...
I think like you said no mattter where they run to they cant escape (maybe bcoz they were fOrCeD to become vampires?) And now they are and cant go back no matter how much they run
Something new i learned from tiktok today. Vampires would have a reflection in modern mirrors. In the old day mirrors were made out of silver.

owh, and i stan your rice cooker :D
amazing vocalsss
When they're running down the street in casuals that really reminded me of run
I thought the same
i technically havent started the vid yet but hi laina, hope you’re having a nice day/night :)
if all of this is happening in the same timeline, my guess is this mv happens somewhere between fever and drunk-dazed, kinda like the transition?? like laina mentioned we see the kinda hazy effect in the last bit of the mv that resembles d-d and also there are many parallels referencig fever too,,,, like heeseung wearing similar clothes (maybe same even) and the fact that he is still on a bed?? and also the bit with sunoo looking into the mirror kinda seemed to mirror ni-ki in the fever mv?? except this time it was broken.. i wonder what that means
Yes and jake or was it heesung (im so sry im a goldfish) they were in that room with a huge bed and tv (in fever i think) and like hes in bed in a room with a tv (just a bit older kinda like that one in the fever mv was more modern and this is more kinda ancient)
yesss heesung and sunoo's clothes reminded me of fever and maybe sunoo and heesung can see each other through the mirror??
This part 13:40 made me think of how in I-land the cameras were in the mirrors. Idk if that has anything to do with the universe but it’s a thought.
This MV shows their powers-
Thanks Laina, we've been waiting for this!!
Well now I'm just gonna hope that ENHYPEN's Universe will fit in my head because my brain is just cramped with TXT's Universe storyline now lol
Me too!!!
Me too!!! It was cramped inside my brain and i also only have 2 braincells left because of online school... so... ^^
Also in BTS'S run, Taehyung gets up on top of the car and so does Jungwon.
And niki and his, and jungwon is trapped in the middle)
Then, in Korean version sunoo bites jungwon (the last member to be turned) FOR Jake.
Bruh at this point I’m not even surprised by the fact you post at 1am where I live 😂😂😂
Love you btw 💕💕
the sad part is i'm only 1 hour behind you... LMAO
what if this is a virtual reality or video game like TXT?
I mean the two worlds kinda connect right... what if it's the same 'game' like TXT.
Or a hunger games like thing where people could watch the tributes fight eachother to the throne... which could be like a reference to I-Land.
Honestly idk I'm kinda sticking to this thing between &Team and EN- and I-Land
I've been always wondering about this, like in this mv, as you mentioned too that sunghoon and ni-ki are the ones who transform into bats/vampires (???) and sunghoon and ni-ki are also the ones who almost always have a duo choreo part 👀 like in given-taken mv they have a part together, then in flicker choreo (not completely but they do have a almost back to back part) next fever have one part and mixed up does too uhhh idk if its important or not but there's definitely something to it!!
i think that the mirror in sunoo could maybe be the same mirror with niki's scene in fever? idk just reminded me of it, cant wait for the fever vid tho!!
same thooo
"oh shining blue might turn red" - sunoo, let me in
gives me little nightmare (the videogames) vibes with the TV
What if whomever turned them into “vampires” is watching them through the mirrors?
When you Laina said they're becoming these 'robots' vampires I immediately think of the robots (?) in TXT's Magic MV
9:11 im sure i saw the like same "member seeing themselves w/ a filter' in Crown, also for the building sets (like the apartments with various red lights) it reminds me of the buildings at the end of 0X1=LOVESONG.
heres my uncompleted theory of mine:
I have a feeling that G-T was inspired by sweet home from Webtoon
so in the first moment that caught my eyes is Sunoo opening the bandage around his neck.
I'm not sure about Jungwon but if there was actually connection to Given-Taken then Jungwon is a vampire as you can see, he was bitten by Jake (who's a vampire)
At the ending, you can see Enhypen running but if you look closely, you can see that Sunoo wasn't there so it's probably them chasing after Sunoo BUT what got me confuse is that during the running part, some of their clothes changed and Heeseung's bandage on his neck disappeared so I have prediction that this was probably another universe or time changed.
Also! As I searched down, red light means "friend in danger". So when the hallways turned red it probably signaled Jay that his friend (Sunoo) in in trouble
Another thing I seached is "red smoke". From what i found, it was almost close. It means the smell of a stranger's blood when they leave the bathroom room. So it could mean that Sunoo left the bathroom with no bandage around his neck. The blue eyes probably signaled the vampires and the red lights signaled the people.
Also the right sign means warning
But!
Anyways, that's the only think
Also I have prediction that Sunghoon probably started it because in the first clip of the mv, you can see Sunghoon there holding an unbrella
i think that hee and sunoo just developed their abilities a bit later, because i think they stole that one car jungwon „attacked“ and drove to the forest to escape something- maybe k? (we see the car in debut trailer 2, just like how heeseung and sunoo lost their reflection and teleported)
so somehow they lost each other and jake was the only one in the car left, but he didn’t sit at the front so he didnt drive it.
'
at the very beginning of the video, heesung takes a look at his refelction inside of a mirror. this mirror just so happens to be a shaped like sun, directly referencing the lyrics " Dive into red sun, no lie". this means that they are waking up on day 1 & "Dive into red sun". on the wall we see heesung's reflection INSIDE a sun mirror
& in drunk-dazed Their refelction scared them coz it showed the truth behind their mask, the vampire.
enhypen stries revolve around the vampire concept, however heesung and sunoo can see their reflections in both korean and japanese version of given taken, therefore these two music videos may be look into the groups past rather than the present future.
notice how the boys have reflection and how all of them could stand under the sun in given-taken both versions. Vampires do not have reflections and they cannot go out in the sun. that means border: day one and border: hakanai show us the past where enhypen (exept jake) are only humans
omg I was literally just about to check if u already uploaded your reaction video :0 anws, love ya!
Laina is the best youtuber, she is so dedicated to the channel Ily
idk but after I watched that mv, something came up with my mind.
Jay standing at the end of hall made me think of eternally. We thought it was moa but what if...?
**gasp** that might be.... him..... just a thought tho... but maybe it was him... but in Eternally, it was at the end where it was a elevator, not just a normal hall like this one...
The room where they danced it reminds me of the txt's practice room where the chaos happened and also the hallway where the ghost appear
@@ItzzeeA Yeah that sounds possible. Nice theory!!
Perhaps he's a hybrid. He'd a vampire and werewolf to be specific. Which would explain his duality
But did u also realize that Sunoo - sunghoon - Jake .. all eyes turned blue
If you slow down the video you will notice it
@@appreciatewhatyouhaveandbe1067 Yess indeed. But to me Jake gives off very strong vibes, not only in this MV, but through out their whole storyline. I don't really know why tho.
jake posted pictures on twitter, with the stickers from the set, maybe there's something hidden there
their outfit at the start reminded me of their outfit in fever, sunoo and heesung clothes
L love you Enhypen 💕🔥🇲🇽
Small theory; when Enhypen was running in the street it reminded me of BTS when they were running in their Run MV
5:27 IA? Robots... Cyborgs? I don't know if you know the singer Poppy, basically her concept for a long time was that was a robot, I'm getting Poppy vibes. 🤖
Adding onto the “being recorded/watched” theme: doesn’t the font of the title (At beginning and end) make the “G” look like a replay-button? Maybe that’s on purpose too
I didn't watch full but know already it will be awesome..thnku laina...u'r the sun to us the sunflowers...
I was waiting for this
Thank you Laina
I was so excited and was waiting for this video!! I love your theories so much 💜💜
jake probably bit jay the moment after he looked into the mirror, because the backround and lights in jays and jakes scene are both the same- just that we can’t see jake during the jay hallway scene?
I saw something about since modern mirrors are not made of silver vampires would be able to see themselves. Not sure if this is true but its a thing
Or they could be half vampire half human
i am really curious about the umbrellas, I mean we have seen some all over the hybe universe ....i am sure it means loads ...pools and umbrellas these 2
Hybe just can't get enough with umbrellas and pools... ^^
wait, notice how most of the video is in red, and then at the end is all cool toned and blue, like they’re running away from the red... or towards it.
Did Laina never notice Jake smiling with his fang after the scene where heeseung was crouched next to the tv after the first chorus>
My theory is that niki hypnotized sunghoon in fever, and influenced him into becoming a vampire, hence why theyre on the same side in drunk-dazed!
I think in drunk-dazed sunoo knew K was behind him and so he somehow turned the lights off to.. be able to see him? or idk, but like he turns as if he knew, and he's calm, but we couldn't see K behind him before the lights were off
Just dropping my random theory that doesn't even have Connection with this vid:
MOA the Dead girl in txt is actually engene's sister, Cause they both Make each other group(I hope you know what I Mean) and enhypen and txt were in the same timeline too, in magic island mv (if I was not mistaken) yeonjun actually feel the presence of enhypen.
@@Fransisca_Athanasia
Yes, but what if they are not the same person but sisters?
The Bandade reminds me of TXT Run away
I agree with you
yess laina thank you been waitin for this
my theory is that this car- the one jungwon is „attacking“- is the same as the one in debut trailer two, where jake is inside.
They coexist. And i i just don't know what to say anymore because there's a lot of theories flying in my head..
Thank you! I love your insight.
They are probably not going with the "have no reflection" thingy.
They did it before in the choose-chosen video which was why I focused on it, so if they suddenly don’t go with it, it’s a shift from what they’ve previously shown
niki was in the phonebooth remember, so its most likely him on top of it
Oh yas! The perfect video to start my day (and I have coffee and cake for breakfast, yay!) Thank you for this video! 💕🌼
Edit: Sunghoon and Niki, they have a dance part together in Given-Taken and Fever 🤔

I have a feeling that the exit signs are supposed to be like get out escape while you can. maybe trying to symbolize that there’s still time left for them to leave I’m not sure that’s what I was getting from that
Red -- symbolizing blood perhaps?
YAYAYAYAY A LAINA UPLOAD
I saw the notification yesterday, just when I was so sleepy, so I am watching the video now, i always love your videos
the link of.two world in lyrics, the EXIT SIGN and the TV. and maybe they manage to escape and go that hotel, stay and reason whay they wear white, cause everyone of them is in a healing process. but what if someone is following them(the man standing in the window) and the reason they run(aside from they're already healed and discovered the powers they have.
In the korean version they were struggling with their identities so they hadn't escaped yet, but in the japanese one, they already had suffered their transformation into a mythical creature (I can't help but take it as a metaphor of their journey as artists, because in korean given-taken they were debuting, but now they already are idols)
Sorry for rambling 😅
Idk if it's important but I wanna point out the scene where they're running; they were smilling(esp hoonie), and sunoo was not in the 1st shot then he just suddenly appear running with them.

So no one's gonna talk how their running scene looked somewhat exactly like running scene of BTS in Run mv???I am disappointed
I totally forgot about that!! Oh my gosh....
a new video yeyy!
Okay this mv confuses me so much. I noticed a couple of things and I have no idea what these mean :)
-not all of the members had bandaids on their necks (or I am just blind lol)
-as far as I noticed, Heeseung, Jay and Jungwon don’t have these blue static eyes
-Sunghoon seems like he has already transformed into a vampire (umbrella, gloves, the bats around him, the red light) and in let me in mv he was the one with the cape.. that’s kinda sus tho
- Jake seems to be a vampire but his reflection confuses me so much like ??? also he appears a lot in red light.. and the car.. who is sitting in the car that is in front of Jungwon? I remember Jake sitting in a car in one of their other videos but I don’t think he’s in the car in this mv?
-0:36- 0:44 the scene between Jake and Jay reminds me so much of theirs in g-t Korean version.. a debate? fight? What’s going on? Is Jay running away from him in the end? Hybe please explain, this is too much for my brain cells
- Jay in the end seems to either try to find the exit (the exit sign is mostly associated with him in this mv) or he just runs away I don’t know, maybe he wants to escape from this building.. someone is standing at a window at ~ 3:00 is that him?
-Jay’s hallway reminds me of a hospital (connection to g-t Korean version?)
- Jungwon is just suspicious, he seems to not be afraid of the car hitting him (alright I mean it seems like the car is just standing there but still haha), then he jumps on top of the car (only he is enlightened in red, the background is blue) and the inside of the car turns even more red.. suspicious
-Jay and Jungwon both wear red belts in the first dancing scene (or it’s just the lightning and I’m a clown)
- Sunoo and the bathroom with blocked windows and crashed mirror.. kinda reminds me of fever mv
-Sunoo appears a lot in red light
-around 1:55 when Sunoo’s pre chorus is playing all lights+TV are turned off
-at 1:57 everyone except for Sunoo is holding an umbrella.. kinda sus
- Heeseung hiding from the sun, his clothes and just the whole room remind me again of fever+ at ~2:18 he is all alone and running away/ escaping from something just like in the beginning of fever
-when he starts singing “wake up in day one” he actually seems super tired
-the mirror in Hee’s room looks like a sun and with much imagination it may remind you of the glasses in fever mv (for instance when they were dancing in the hall-> background, when they were sitting behind the swimming pool)
-why is Heeseung shown with the devil’s filter? Suspicious since he wasn’t fully shown in red light as far as I noticed.. maybe he’s trying to stay on the good side, in blue light.. I don’t know
-Hee appears a lot in blue lightning. He kinda seems to know that we/ the world is watching them (the way he approaches the mirror and him being in frame with a TV give me these vibes).. in addition to that the mirror kinda looks like camera lenses
-Ni-ki confounds me once again. In the end, when they run in the streets, Ni-Ki is a little apart from them on the right sidewalk.. I don’t know whether this was on purpose or not lol
-Ni-Ki is in one of his solo shots in this phone box (trapped like in let me in?), then he gets out, in the end he’s sitting on top of that box.. kinda sus
-the piece of paper shown at 1:27 “shoes ...rtle boy” isn’t “RTLE” written on the left side when the play button appears at 0:35? rtle seems to be some term in neurology, but maybe there is something in front of the letters that we can’t see.. or I am starting to see things that are not there
Please bear with me, trust me actually I am capable of great English, my brain just can’t handle all of these information lol
edit: Alright I think I’m just a clown since their belts are black in their dance shot in front of the building, so I guess it was just the lights lol
btw the time stamps are from the actual mv :)
First of all, yes. Only Hee and Sunoo have band aids on their necks. None of the other members has it. Second. Your theory is legit.
Are you on Laina’s discord server yet? You’d be a great addition to the theory channels! The link is in the description to this video.
heeseung is looking for something just like in fever
What if Jake was first one to become a vampire and he turned Sunoo and Heeseung and that is why they are on his side in Drunk-Dazed mv
**gasp** that actually make sense now... **writing down infos intesifies**
10:49 if I'm not wrong that's actually ni-ki' eye, the shape it's the same and the makeup too if you look closely.
the weird eyes- jake was looking into nikis eyes with a flashlight in the korean version, probably to check if he also had them.
when jake (oh well it could be heeseung too :0) walked past niki during their mEdIcAl check up (when jungwon had to open his mouth)
niki was looking at jake for a split second with a suspicious face, and thats why jake is soooo suspicious to me, because the place he checked nikis eyes was his prison room thing(like we see in the making of): so how did he find niki/ get inside?
Loved it
does anybody else think that this is them after running away from the orphanage?
The mirror might be a camera and that is why Heeseung is approaching it
i fell like they are not your normal stereotypical vampire. A lot of the time, their vampire side appears digitally, like they are created and curated to appear like vampire but they're not really. Like some sort of AI
