Reverse harems are a multiple men one woman scenario but a lot of authors are trying to rebrand it to a “why choose” or polyamorous as a category. That way they can include Fe lease, non-binary, and other identity in the group as well as group action/multiple relationships. Reverse harem was originally designed where the woman was the center of the romance but it has evolved a lot to include different types of relationships throughout.

WOW. I did start the bestseller thing but I did the top of the year mixed with Nebula and National Book award winners. Not on a day. Just every year in my life. It's been interesting! Why did people like some of these things! Plus it's interesting to see how bestsellers have changed and surprisingly how they HAVE NOT changed.
For the rainbow readathon this is a totally less color focused idea but it would be really cool to use the pride flags color symbolism (ex. Pink for sexuality, red for life, orange for healing) and use that as a way to select a TBR of LGBTQ+ books that center around those themes and bonus points if the color of the covers match up to the theme.

Half a Soul was fun and quirky. I'd like the romance to be a little more developed, but loved the FL. I'm currently thinking of re reading On the Jellico Road, so Melina Marchetta is on my mind. Or maybe reading books based in the same time period but from diverse authors or translated books. Maas.
For reverse harem I suggest the Meridith (Merry) Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton! Fey Court intrigue set in modern times with great story and world building and of course magic. Very spicy though.
If you wanted to do a rainbow reading video you could do one where you read a book from a different colour of the rainbow each day (either cover colour or with a colour in the title)- ROYGBIV.
Another problem with the birthday bestsellers is The Bourne Ultimatum is book three and in the series. (Read the first book because I like the movies and I really recommend watching the movies instead. They're very different.)

The Book of the Unnamed Midwife is a wonderful book. It's so dark but it's such a realistic portrayal of what could happen in a post apocalyptic event. One of the best post apocalyptic books I've ever read! ☺
I would LOVE to watch that Mary-Kate and Ashley video but I totally understand not actually wanting to read all those books. They were also one of the few celebrities I was interested in as a kid, I watched all their shows, all the movies, read so many of the books. I'd be down to rewatch some of their stuff, but the idea of rereading the books, especially rereading ALL of them, sounds incredibly painful. I've reread enough of those Scholastic series that came out in the '90s as an adult to know they just do not stand up to the test of time.
