To answer your Question. It's the same whether one is in the U.K, U.S Carribbean or wherever. He's just pointing out the injustices People with "Black" skin face within Western Society.
To answer your question about if it's the same for black people in the uk, the short answer would be yes. Maybe not to these same degree as in America. Its abit more suttle over here. You should really try dive a little more into the uk music scene/culture.. it might make you understand a little more
Yeah, here it's much more noticeable as classism than racism in the UK; which doesn't mean racism doesn't exist here, it's just much more socially frowned on so people keep it to themselves. We also don't have freedom of speech, or at least a fetishised version of it where everyone thinks it's their duty to push its bounds, hearing direct racism is extremely rare. We've had laws against slavery and for civil rights much longer than the US has as well so it's more ingrained, as is a mixed society.
