This festival was AMAZING! What other German things do Silas and I need to try?!
Conner Sullivan you have to go to the Oktoberfest in Munich
It is a traditional festival in Bavaria
You have to see this one time
MinecraftTVgames nah, the Oktoberfest is totally overcrowded. If you wanna go the Munich you better visit the beergardens like Augustiner Biergarten
you can make a trip
www.wartburg.de/de/ (martin luther translated the bible there)

and back home;)
you have to check out this too

and hamburg in general;)
Hit the Dippemess in Frankfurt.
An american asking a german why he's carrying a DEADLY weapon on the street. Let that sink in for a moment. How ironic.
And the German saying "Why not?". Even more ironic, since they're always complaining that we have too many gun freedoms.
his answer was ironic just as the question.
I didn't even notice at first, but gosh, you're right XD
Though, considering american law it can't be as dangerous as a Kinder Überraschungsei (Kinder Surprise)
FiveOClockTea m
FiveOClockTea kn
Haha American ask why wearing a deadly weapon on the street :D
I laughed at that, too, and I'm an American.
Yeah I was like wtf you are the country that likes to do this :) Outside of such festivals not only guns are not allowed but also every knife thats longer than 11-12 centimetres ;) Its pretty safe here :)
im pretty sure the houses are older than USA, maybe older than the colonies....
Sebastian Cygnus but the ice there is the best lol
Andreas Höber wat?
Yangbugs ice cream in dreieichenhain ... the city they were in
... the guy responds in perfect English like "just stop trying man"
Taler is actually the word where the word dollar comes from.
'Why are you carrying a deadly weapon on the streets' - asked by an american in germany...this was a pretty ironic start.
It's so funny watching your videos when your from germany, because for us, its like a normal day, these events are like everyday life, but you guys act like u were on a new planet. xD
Its so funny to watch your videos as a german xD
i want that damn fly too
Omg du hast so recht
This is so cool!!! its like the Renaissance Festival here ( i live in Houston) except theres real castles in Germany, and im pretty sure theres a lot of history, plus it looks wayyyy better. I hope to someday visit Germany.
Dude, i watched so many of your videos and never realised I was IN one :D I'm the guy selling you that Scottish Bannok, hope it tasted alright and ssorry for not recognizing you back then lol
Freud mich ausserordentlich das Amerikaner freude an Europa haben.
Grüsse euch aus der Schweiz
Typisch Deutsch? Bratwurst und Ketchup? .....
Typical German? Bratwurst and Ketchup? Heathen. Mustard only!
That was a beautiful town and a fascinating show. Thanks for the post.
The Frankfurt (Silas) / Stuttgart (Conner) connection is pretty unique and amazing.
if it is winter, visit a christmas market :)
Der Weihnachtsmarkt in Leipzig ist sehr schön :) war dort paar mal und ich würde das empfehlen.
und der in Bayern ist auch nicht mal so schlecht.
better make sure it has cement barriers in case if one of merkels refugee children drops by in a truck
Dimoen but he should be😂ware of trucks
There are actually many of them in Germany :) you have to visit one with a actual tournament or the Winter/Medieval Market in Esslingen. From Stuttgart you only need about 20-30mins to get to Esslingen by train. :D
And if you want to do your a favour: visit the Esslingen Christmas/Medieval Market mid-week, if you really live in that close proximity. At weekends, especially in the evening, it is overcrowded. It runs from the beginning of december to christmas eve.
ZWIEBLINGER !
Warlord ID love to ask you some questions about medieval events in germany.
you have to visit the wartburg by Eisenach. its a really beautiful castle on a hill and also the place where martin luther translated the bible. They even have a medieval themed market in December and its all just amazing :)
It's funny, as a german I watch videos of this guy because his enthusiasm about all these small things reminds me how cool germany actually is :D
The Scooter Running Drill at the end was very funny! :D
Greetings from Switzerland!
It's so funny and nice to watch as a german. We wish one day we can cross the big pond and see a big city in the us and the us lifestyle. You come over here and go nuts over small things like sausage with potatoes. Just so nice to see people traveling an enjoing new experiences.
Ah that was Dreieichenhain( I used to live there) It's really nice and thx for visiting
just discovered your channel and i'm impressed. Really enjoying it. Keep it up, love your content!
You're LATE son. Was waiting for your part all day. The Silas half got me all hyped up for more :D
I love to see this collab. This two guys are pure entertainment.
Dude you guys are hilarious! I’m from Germany living in the us. Can’t stop watching! Good to see I’m not the only one being fascinated by little things lol!
That's sweet... You have to visit the " Kaltenberger Ritter Tunier" that's fucking awesome
It's so funny seeing you exploring a new Planet... but for Germans it's like : oh another funny guys with swords...never mind 😁😂
I usually don't watch a video till the end but yours are an exception. keep up the great work. viele grüße!
Just skipping through random youtube stuff but I'm always glad to see people enjoying themselves around here :) Have a good one!
Interesting festival!!!!!! So coollll!!!!!!!
You’re a good lad Conner, always big fun watching your channel 😀😀😀😅
you have filmed a former bundesliga player from Eintracht Frankfurt and VFL Wolfsburg. Patrick Ochs at 5:55 . the guy with the red hair
Whaaaaaaaat... you kidding me? I was on this medival festival too on Sunday... I can't belive this! I love medival festivals
Hope you had a nice day at the festival!
You two are so much fun and energy. Danke!
With great Power comes great electricitybill
In my home town we have a medieval festival were the town centre stays in this medieval set up for like... Two weeks. It's great! People actually live in tents and stuff, and big fights get recreated with canons and all!
Really nice Video
And the funny thing is I am understanding everything, you and the germans
THIS VIDEO IS SO COOL
Because of your reactions
It is amazing
Sry for the bad english
Im from Germany near Stuttgart💪💪💪💪💪💪
3:46 ist das Drachenlord der da im Hintergrund am reden ist xD
They even got excited about a guy chopping some firewood 🤣. I mean I spent my life in a city, but c'mon.
How do renaissance fairs in the US compare to our medieval markets? :) I think it would be cool for you guys to see the WGT (Wave Gotik Treffen) in Leipzig next year! I'm probably going for the first time myself as well! It's the biggest Goth event in Germany (if not Europe?) and spreads across the whole city!
Get Germanized NOOO WAYYY DOMINIK. YOU COMMENTED. I need you to make a video with Conner. PLEASE.
Get Germanized watch Devon's vlog on Minnesota Renaissance Festival, we don't have the centuries old castles but we do have characters and food. I haven't been to a German Renaissance Festival, I put it on my list.
im allready exited to see ur costume
The WGT is the biggest Goth-Festival of the world with 20.000- 25.000 visitors every year!
Ren Fairs can be pretty good here in the US, but you guys have the medieval architecture and the history. Can't beat that!
You have to go Back to Dreieich next year in May when the Haaner Kerb is going on. It is on the same location and a must visit in Hessen.
Visit one of the MPS festivals. They travel through different german citys and it's a mixture of a normal "Mittelaltermarkt" and a music festival. It's huge and in in winter they have special events where they also do a kind of a medival christmasmarked.
Wacken 2018 or Impericon Festival Leipzig! I love this culture. And I would like playing football too
Was mich angeht, seid ihr Ehrenbuerger......As far as I am concerned you guys are honorary German Citizens!
Muss los bruder
6:03 Santa's new Hobby - Das neue Hobby vom Weihnachtsmann. ^^
if you guys really enjoy fests like that you should totally check out the MPS, its amazing
I am from around Stuttgart and I just realized while watching that this is the town my grandparents lived😅
That takes me back. I'm from that area, and I used to climb the tower as a kid. Got into trouble for it too.
It is so funny listening to you american accent! I really enjoy watch your videos!Greetings from Munich!
I love how there's the band Versengold playing in the background :D
Go to the christmas markets in the wintertime and get a nice "Glühwein"-booze; ;)
Conner you're so humble man...how come you never get irritated or show any kind of attitude in any of your videos. Is it even possible to be like that all the time? cool thing about your videos are your curiosity to the details and you're always appreciating. You do have a great calling from God. God bless you!
medieval christmas market in Esslingen! Nearly no electric lights, just candles and fires. it's awesome
Some people here mentioned how some of these buildings might be older than America or even the colonies. They are! There are many authentic buildings from 1200 and even earlier! I actually live in a house built in 1400 to1450. It's actually really comfy :D
So cute to see you discovering that market, as my family and friends and I go to things like that like 5 times a year all dressed up. Refreshing to see the reaction of someone who is new to it. A thousand Dollars for food... haha, loved that part... but it´s true^^
This is my favorite video of your channel! :) I love to see how much you developed yourself, it is so nice to see this.
Well, if both of you like "Mittelalter", then you should may do some archery course in the forest with traditional bows. Some of them even offer to build your bow by yourself, so you can have your own bow and during the course you can shoot with them in a real forest. I guess its pretty cool. I never did it, although I would like to, but I organized it as a present for my mother and her husband once.
Another thing: I really like your open-mindedness about our culture and our country, but sometimes I get the feeling that you should be more open to german people and their personalities. Even tough I don´t know what you do without your camera. But I guess in your team you play with a lot of Americans. I think it may be different from playing just with Germans.
You should visit the Kaltenberger Rittertunier near Munich at the evening!! I loveee it every time.
You definitely have to visit 'Burg Eltz' its just magic, i love this place so much 😍
The Scooter died Scene is so funny.....lol.
You glow with your openness and love of life.
Youre always welcome in germany guys
"This is like Game of Thrones, man...".. boy oh boy... this is your history as much as ours, don´t ya forget that :)
RSProduxx Nope, it really isn‘t.
ebonyyoe most of Americans are ethnic Germans you're probably Turkish 😂
Chris Petets For trolls I am of course turkish, don’t forget black and jewish as well. With your logic the Wild West is part of the german culture too. And while we are at it, all humans are sharing some ape DNA so don’t forget all the other culture is shared and german as well. Fact is: there were no medieval times in the U.S.A. . Remark: might be possible that they lie ahead though.
ebonyyoe you completely missed the point where do you think white Americans come from? An eagle dropped us off from the sky? I said the majority of Americans are ethnic Germans our families come from Germania and are Germanic. We are the smart Germans who left before it became an Islamic state 😂
Chris Petets I got your point, you believe
yes the town is indeed "currently in use"^^
One time, you have to go to Heilbronn/Neckarsulm. It's about 40 minutes from Stuttgart🤙
you can also hold the shoulder of ur mate while driving.. way easier than the foot thing
Go to the Oktoberfest in Munich. It's the worlds largest beer festival and travelling funfair. It starts on the 16th of September.
Just around my corner but I missed it. Have been there before.
There will be something similiar or might even cooler (bigger) end of september on the Ronneburg. Google it, it's different direction and like 1hour away.
You will see like half the stuff you saw in this market at the Ronneburg as well. They travel from medieval market to medieval market.
These medieval fairs you can find all over germany from spring to late autumn outside and there are some during the winter. Due to the german habit of doing stuff serious, even our hobbies, our "renecense fairs" are bit less fantasy and sometimes a bit more acurate... sometimes.
If you google for Mittealtermarkt youll find a lot of them, especially around the Frankfurt area...
If u guys like that Medival markets, u should go to "spectaculum" in Worms... there r crazy Full Contact sword and Group fight's
!Kaltenberger Ritterturnier!
The biggest medieval festival with a breathtaking arena show
Love the video. laughed so hard.
You might like to try swordfighting sometime. There are lots of groups around Germany. "Legion of the Stag" is one fairly close to Stuttgart that I know of. They train in Lorch sometimes, you can get there by train from Stuttgart quite easily.
Oh my god. At the beginning, "Versengold" was playing.... They are one of my favourite bands 😍
Hamburg is very interesting too, believe me! You'll have lots of fun there😊
Guys you have to see the "Oldenburger Kramermarkt" it is not the biggest "volksfest" (carnival) , but the most beautiful, familiar and the comfortable/cozy ones. But it is a little too far away from Frankfurt ( ca. 430Km ). :) lovely greetings from Oldenburg
3:46 ist das nicht die Stimme vom Drachenlord?
Panda Eturi OHAAAA 😂😂😂😂😂
Panda Eturi stimmt...🤣
Ahaha, der hostet den Laden bestimmt :D
Panda Eturi omg das ist der echt😨😂
Ich dachte es war Mori :D?
You really need to come to Peter and Paul fest at Bretten, near Karlsruhe if you liked that.
you have to go to Heidelberg, it's between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, with a shopping mile of 1.4 km, and a beautiful view from the castle. Google it !
.... And my favorite band is playing live in the background :)
Same. Well, at least one of my favourites (along with Saltatio Mortis) ^^
hey you can you and Silas do a couple of videos explaining the basics of football and baseball sometime?
Am Anfang und bei Minute 9:50 einfach mal Versengold im Hintergrund zu hören 😍
MPS ist auch immer empfehlenswert!
Oh, finally figured out that at 10:50 the song in the background was Versengold with "Kein Trinklied".
Also interesting how many people from the MPS were at that market too.
This is the first of your videos I watch and whenever I hear you talking, it reminds me so much of Arnold Schwarzenegger. :D
And this is only a small festival. There exist much bigger ones, where people all around germany, austria, france etc come to celebrate, with very nice costumes.
5:54 Patrick Ochs :D
Arround 12:40 i can hear Versengold on the Stage :O I hope you saw them -.- they are great :D
Argh... Around 10:11 i mean sorry -.-
Yeah they are great 😍 I literally freaked out when I heard them ^^
This hammer feeling, what comes up in me when I see the video!
The place is well set up all it needs a bit of real dragons flying across the castles !! :)
Hello Conner I have something similar for you when you're back in Bavaria !!
Look for Breitenbrunn in der Oberpfalz that is the place and then still to Tilly Fest.
It is already on the 9.Sep. this year but maybe next year. Greetings Dominik
At 5:55 in the black Jacket sits Patrick Ochs, a german soccer player right in front of you :D
You Guys should visit the MPS Festival :) it's very epic and very large.
Seems Santa has a side job :D 6:03
I can't believe that you were in my hometown an i didn't see you! Btw alredy two of My teachers are in this Video and haven't even watcherd it till the end haha
Dude, Deustchland is sic luv it, I have to visit some day. You guys look like your luv in it. Hope ya'all had a great time.
You have to go to the carnival in Cologne (Köln) in February.
You two are the best
Lol i just saw this Video on my RUclips Start Page and I was wtf this guy was in dreieichenhain I thought this Festival isnt that famous haha I live right next to dreieichenhain what a coincidence
Wow, this was so nice, i live in Frankfurt but i never seen something like this in Germany :D maybe i should do a bit of a research
well.. strip that ketchup from the dish and it might become german
der kohler and the potatoes for that Event
Village name Dreieichenhain = ThreeOaksHolt located in Hesse. I'm not sure whether that headless horseman in Sleepy Hellow was born there? But he prevered oaks I guess.
