When you look at the ungodly amount of money that was put into Mike Turner’s campaign fund by some of the top aerospace companies you begin to wonder if they’re not turning the screws on the coffin for disclosure. Mike Turner is one of the top Republicans that is trying to water down the UAP disclosure act. Look at some of the other veteran Republicans in Congress that are joining him all have their hands dirty with campaign funds by aerospace companies and weapons industrial corporations. They frantically don’t want disclosure, and as people in our country continue to walk along and do nothing these corporations continue to grow more powerful every day. We have to push for transparency from the ground up. Nobody else is gonna do it and let’s hope that these mass media news services keep bringing light to the public. What’s going on. it seems irrational to think we are alone, given the ever expanding vastness of the universe... i've always thought if there were a galactic community out there, that we were just a pertri dish, zoo or farm for other sentient life.

He approved the Schumer amendment, didn't he? This is a process. I don't think he will make a formal statement until after we get that review board up and running. The review board will help with the processing of the information and the impact it will have.

Well I'll give credit to NBC for covering this. Having to pick thru independent media for what is easily the biggest story of our time has been frustrating for many. People need to come to terms with this and fast. When the Senate majority leader uses the term NHI (non human intelligence) in a bill over 20 times maybe crack open some news coverage on it
NewsNation is your go to for this stuff. NBC, CNN etc they are so biased nowadays IMO just don't listen to anything they say in regards to UAP. NewsNation brings in guys like Nick pope a person who has studied this stuff since the 90s and even was tasked by UK government into UFO research all the way back then. NBC will bring in UAP experts like NDT who will ridicule it and refuse to study it for personal bias.

At least 9 of them over the last 20 years according to the reports of last week. I don't know who was responsible for retrieving them before that but it's rumored to be air force special forces. Ultimately putting recovered craft in the hands of defense contractors to avoid oversight. Also using atomic energy designation to further classify them away from prying eyes. The problem with the astrophysicist he’s just ignoring the fact that all that information is classified he should be advocating for some transparency so the scientific community can actually research instead of just saying nope not looking into it.
And the govt gives us the line we can’t reveal methods and sources except they released two high quality HD videos of Chinese and Russian planes making unsafe maneuvers near our air assets in perfect quality. The other common excuse “it could be black tech” the tic tac happened in 2004 and we still haven’t seen anything close to its demonstrated capabilities. And many other pieces you can research through the history. I would tell nbc news if they could ask Marco Rubio to clarify some things he has said about the above 40 whistleblowers that have come to them.

One: who knows if things can even carry more than themselves, let alone bombs. Two: why would they risk it if the US can jam signals and potentially shoot these down? what exactly did they do? i saw a guy pushing his UFO book, maybe published by people at nbc? i saw timmy birdschitt, saying the same things as the last time i saw him whinge about the unknown. but what i didnt' see, was anything adding validity to their arguments, which is what you will need to convince the majority who don't see it your way.
that said, i don't think we are alone, the universe is much to big to believe we are singluarly special when it comes to sentience... so from where i sit, the goal posts haven't moved, but we have another push to make the gov't transparent when it apparently doesn't want to be. those reasons should be questioned, if we have an open and free society.
the funny thing is people worried about this, will pressure their gov't to release secret documents, but for their own lives, like healthcare or voting rights, they sit on their hands like good little citizens.

Let's not give air time to "professors' who think swamp gas is traveling at supersonic speeds, please -- as though this viewpoint is informed and meaningful. I think NBC needs to research how much Garrett Graff is receiving from the DoD to write his book.

In Eastern Europe just after sunset, I had a UAP fly directly over me est. to be 2,500 ft. at eighty knots. Completely silent. I'm a pilot with about a thousand hours and have worked in airports for many years, this completely blew my mind. The object was mimicking a terrestrial aircraft. Strobing with a red position light. The problem, the UAP was silent with no prop wash or engines, nothing. The red portside position light was on the wrong side and the strobe was reflecting off a circular structure... some say why didn't you take a pic? When you're looking at something that defies reality you're not thinking about a selfie. My question is, why would a UAP fake a terrestrial aircraft?
I'm assuming there was nothing on radar? Did you ask ATC about it? That's pretty cool.

They use tactics like lights to camouflage their crafts so they won't be noticed as easily.
To blend in so to speak, there have been reports where they mimic aircraft movements. Maybe they’re extraterrestrial AI drones, just learning and mimicking what they observe.
Usually when someone/something is mimicking or parroting something/someone this means that they have something to hide and in the same time they want to observe in tranquility something. Eastern Europe is a pretty hot place these days and the policy of "shoot first ask later" must be taken into consideration.
As much as I’d like to celebrate NBC finally getting their S together, you’ve done a fraction of the work that others have to cover this topic and the incredible significance it has. You should get very little credit at this point.

It’s been said that since they have upgraded their hardware that they have been able to see these things on their radars on a daily basis. Now since they have admitted this, why has no one gone back out there and checked? Why isn’t there more materials surfacing and other places as well? Instead of the senators or congressmen going out to check these people why don’t they go out to check the areas where these objects have been seen? Why has no one gone out there? Something is not right.

This is not a “fun” topic at all. It is serious. Millions have been witnesses in one way or another for many years. I can just about guarantee none of them would describe their experiences as “fun.” The implications for the future and what we thought we fully understood about the past also are not “fun” to consider. Replace “fun” with intriguing, enigmatic, anomalous, mysterious in future coverage of the topic. Do this to show some respect for your audience.

Chuck, with all due respect, this is not a "fun" story. It is a serious and sobering story, potentially the most important in human history. I would doubt that the scores of military and civilian pilots who have seen these UAP up close for decades and have sometimes almost collided with them, would consider their experiences and stories "fun." It is also not "fun" that unelected officials in the DoD, Pentagon, CIA have decided for decades not to inform Congress nor the American people about the details of what they certainly know about UAP. This is a serious and dangerous breach of our democracy. I refer you to the recent press conference comments made by Congressional representative

I think it is fun. It would be more fun if people would not jump to the conclusion it is extra-terrestrial life. Without any evidence at all they assume that is what it is.
Surely The World Wars where approximately a hundred million people died is much more serious or somber. Perhaps the many times the Black Death rolled through Europe. That had an effect on the whole culture and helped end fiefdom. I can think of many things more important in history than some airplane drivers seeing things they are unsure what it is.
Remember there are no experts on alien craft. We have to have one to study first before someone can become an expert.
I'm glad to see NBC covering this but the framing at many points is frustrating and skewed. Leading questions like "do you think too much is being taken at face value?" Also, talking about absolute proof of *specifically* "extra terrestrials," instead of non-human intelligence or other dimensional/temporal beings, limits the topic to an inaccurate framework that is far too narrow, and so much easier to dismiss or discredit without publicly accessible proof. Which needs to be acknowledged quite distinctly--it is not that there is no proof, it's that higher quality existing proof is being blocked from public access.

I'm really glad that the mainstream media is starting to get onto this topic. Better late than never l guess. As an experiencer I would like to thank NBC News for covering this. This is very important for a lot of people that are experiencing UAP's on a regular basis. Removing the stigma will allow us to finally talk about what we experience to people without being looked at like something is wrong with us.
I saw a big old boomerang looking triangle along with about 500 other people on interstate 280 at sunset back in 2010. I left to go meet a sure thing and figured I would see it on the news. No news, no mention on the Internet to this day. Hundreds of people and no witnesses.

This topic is so important. It's bigger than just "oh cool there's aliens/NHI". What is being alleged is that we have recovered craft(s). We've had these for about 80 years, as far as we know. We've been trying to reverse engineer them and there is Manhattan Project level of secrecy towards this, in fact they are closely related. Part of the story is that they have successfully reverse engineered many aspects of these craft, including the energy source. It's described as zero-point energy. In short it means literally free clean energy. I wonder what powerful entities would want to prevent a free energy source from being open source studied to the world? We are in a slow motion downhill spiral to a climate catastrophe because of our energy consumption methods, among other things.
There are troves of first person testimony and documents. Yes this would be the greatest conspiracy of all time. Yes, it does sound crazy. It's real though. It's been real this whole time. There are very powerful interests that don't want this known.
They want zero point energy illegal. Point made.
