REAL TALK:
1. Fire requires a lot of skill points. The more, the better.
2. Counters are very important while tanking, for immunity.
3. Get Manacles to 200 first. Then worry about other artifacts.

@@beastking-zk1yk Dom Augments for Fire Tanking. Since you will be specced in Health and Resto with your skill points, so you need that extra dom with augments and base mods.

Hey man no offense but The more dominance the better. The Dominance and restoration are added together for your fire tanks healing plus Dominance helps with defensives. usually I put one 4th of skill points into restoration and the rest into dominance because your dominance needs to go above the enemies willpower in order for the tank to effectively taunt. However because I did that I also made sure to make my mods one 4th restoration. I understand what your game plan was due to artifacts and catalyst you just used the dominance from those to get more healing and it’s a good tactic for current content but it may be a good idea to discuss the dominance stat part for when newer content comes out or else people will start dropping due to lack of overcoming the enemies willpower. :)

Would you consider Fire to be one of the best tanks in the game alongside rage? Cause almost everyone I’ve talked to that do tank talks bad about Fire. But when I use it I don’t see any downfall. Would appreciate you telling your updated thoughts on fire tank.
Fire is definitely almost as good as Rage. The reason some people talk bad about fire is because of the end game raids. Like when COUE was end game, fire tanks were having problem surviving. But now TSDe is latest end game raid and fire tanks are doing good. So it depends from raid to raid, person to person, playstyle, specs etc. But overall, one of the best tanking power in game. 😊

The only problem with this build is it's missing a hard taunt. You're either going to use stoked flames or burning determination. In the others place you're going to use fireball or even better mesmerizing lasso. The build you have is good enough for alert content, but not raids. You will lose aggro without a hard taunt. The tanks built in taunts aren't strong enough.
Hard Taunt is not for aggro. You can hold aggro by using any tank power in your powerset (Basic tanking mechanics, you can read more on forums). As long as you are using power every 10-12 seconds, all enemies within 20 feet will stay aggro'd.
Hard Taunt, I did mention in the video to use lasso when there are more than 1 tank and you need to use single target. oh and been tanking all Elite Raids and SM with this build. Works great 😊
Also instead of burning determination you can use absorb heat and clip it with block immediately. Heals like 20k-60k each tick
Absorb heat is a channeling power, if you clip it you, you won't get heals from all the ticks. Burning determination is better. 😊
@@iEddyGaming that would be true if it was working as intended but it isn't absorb heat will heal you for all its tics when u block cancel it is fires strongest heal when used this way

What's a good tank for pulling multiple adds and keeping them there and focused on You?
I'm new to this game. My character has ice powers and flying movements. So it's tank is ice. What I am confused about is when I unlock items after completing main missions/of duty missions. A lot of them are saying recommend for tank. In order for the items to be strong do I have to fight enemies in shield mode or fire mode. I believe shield is defence and fire is offense. Does tank items only raise defense only? Just wondering because I don't want my character to be weak at fighting enemies, so far it's at level 27 and being a superhero. I got so much to learn about this game. It gets confusing!!
Shield role activates your tank buffs /stats regardless of the artifacts. Level up your artifacts with nth metal and they will add to your stats

Atomic is my most favourite but it is not upto the par with other powers. Rage is my 2nd favorite. 😊

Sounds good for PvP. But I don't have a clue about PvP. My videos are PvE based. I haven't PvP'd in over 5 years haha

Different roles, little brother. You can't compare. 😂😂 If you want to do dps with Fire, its really good. Maybe among top 3 powers if used properly. But if you wanna tank with fire, its great for new raids. 😊

Fire tank is the one that self-heals the most, definitely fun as a tank.
Specially when you don't have mechanics in your way like rage crash, no need for constant shields, no pets, no nothing. Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Thanks for this guide. As of now I have Circe's Mask, Manacles and Mystic Symbol of 7 and switched from Hand Blast to Brawling. However, I am going on dominance. Is that okay. Just a month since I started playing DCUO so I'm still exploring a lot of things. Also, my supercharge is Eternal Flame.
Circe's Mask is good combined with the other two. Brawling is a little slow for tank, I would go for faster weapon like One Handed or Martial Arts.
Going for dominance first is ok for low tier content, once you reach end-game content, you need to max out your health first, then go for restoration stats for healing. Fire Tanking requires a lot of skill points, so I would focus on that first. Good luck =)

Each to his own. I personally love Atomic more than fire but Fire tends to do better in most situations.

Yes. Nothing has changed when it comes to tanking. Except for allies, use Superman and Lex Luthor.

Is manacles really a good tanking artifact? Its decent in my opinion
It is actually the best tank artifact. It works with all tank powers. It absorbs 50% of the incoming damage when its triggered and reapplies it. Also you can 10% faster cool down on your sheilds. Also whenever it is triggered, your sheilds cool down is reset. So that means you can pop the sheild right away in difficult situations.

Been having trouble understanding what I’m doing wrong when I tank Proma in TSWE. Any pointers on how to stop her staff ability from pretty much one shotting me? Some days I can cake walk proma and others it can be hassling. Is there a lunge or interruption that I’m missing? Thanks in advance.
Bro I think its all about counters. When you have all the counters right, she won't get a chance to do one shots. If someone else in the group is helping you with the counters, that might be the reason, maybe they missed the counters or something. Proma has 2H btw.

Would you consider the battle tank artifacts still what you wanna use?
Fire Battle tanking is not that great because most of the powers are channeling powers, so you have to be very on-point with your counters to get the damage done. You can try using Larnea's Amulet for some damage boost instead of strategist card. Also, you can use Superman ally to make all your interruptible powers uninterruptible.

Sadly, it is. But playing it after 3 years was actually fun. Especially with all the special events and free stuff they have been giving away to all players since March 2020.
Does weapon matter?
Not really. But it is better if you use any melee weapon which has quick lunges so you can counter your enemies. Sheild, 1h, Martial Arts would be the first choices. Stay away from pistols, handblasters as a tank. 😊

Its alright. Go to Watchtower or Hall of doom, find respec Station to respec your skill point, then you can select a different weapon.
My hard light shield always goes away after 1 or 2 hits. Is there any way to change that?
More dom = stronger shields. But fire can be fine with just heals.

Uh oh haha Take this video and all my other guides as a basic guide which will help you set the right path and targets. Loadouts and rotations will be same even as CR30 tank. That means you will now have to work your way up and get Skill points and level up artifacts. 😊
What augments you using? Dom or resto?
Dominance. As I said in the video, since we are going for health and resto first, we can go for dom augs and dom base mods, to fill the slight gap 😊

What’s the combo order? I can’t tell
If you are asking for a rotation, there is no rotation when it comes to tanking or healing or trolling. Only DPS roles have rotations to maximize the damage.
I have just under 300 sp is it viable to be a fire tank my arts are mancles of force 200 every man prototype 170 mystic of seven at 170 cr 342 I've been rage bit the rage crash is meh lol plz any advice people or eddy
Your artifacts are good. Your stats should be alright as you have full elite gear with OP items. So it should not be that much of an issue if you switch to fire. Although, more SP means better stats and better stats means higher survival chances. So get to grinding SP 😁

Eddy just a quick question what power would you would personally pick if you was running with my setup?
Rage has always been my favourite. And it works alright with low sp. Also since you have good artis, you should be fine in Elite raids like FFE or FVE.

Fire is focused on healing but since we are specced for Health and Restoration first. Its better to use dominance augments. Dominance helps with healing too and makes your sheilds stronger.
