- Wonder Woman and Andros have to find the Skrill hideout and capture them before the council of planets decides to "decontaminate" Earth, which will result in millions of people dying.
For some people I know, mind stealing amounts to petty theft.
15:15 Re Irving's comment about how five ray beams can only go to two places, i.e. WW's two magic bracelets. They're *magic* bracelets! Part of their awesome power is that when necessary and guided by WW's Amazon spirit, they *draw the harm to them*! So to me it's extra cool. I loved it.
Andy Van Patten in "Hell Night" with Linda Blair was muy fun. He amps up the camp and is a blast to watch here, too. Love when Wonder Woman comes through the skylight to rescue the nitwit professor.
Holding out for the Doctor, yes, good plan. Hahaha. I saw that TARDIS in the background throughout the video.
I think he got that from an auction as it was part of Red Dwarf's launch bay and has zero relation to Doctor Who's TARDIS... 🤪😁
Rip Dak Rambo !
All of season 1 happened in 1942. Irving also commented on how much older Andros Sr looked in comparison to WW so him having an adult son is not far fetched. When Andros Jr is introduced, he clearly states he AND his father worked with WW before. That line was critiqued for lacking a flashback. I wouldn't call that a continuity error, I would say it was a story not corroborated with pictures.
I read on a website that the elder Andros played by Tim O'connor came in the year 1942 and she said that she last saw this Andros played by Dack Rambo in 1943 so it is possible they could have worked together.
He has two hearts?! Doesn't that remind you of someone?!! ahem... The Doctor! 🇬🇧
Andros I came in 1942, season 1. Andros II must have come in 1943... But we still don't know the details. Season 3 was full of weird retcons like saying Diana had gone to Munich in 1976. However, she was on Paradise Island then!!!
This story remind me of the original Wild Wild West TV show of the 60's. There was the same story but the captured brains fought back and killed theirs keeper.
At the end when Diana was looking up at the sky, it seemed to indicate we would be seeing more Andros/ Andros Jr. in the future. But as with many things on this show, it wasn't meant to be.
If Andros has two hearts I can explain why he looks different: He obviously regenerated since the last time we saw him.
I thought a good series finale would have included Andros returning to Earth ending with him once again asking WW to visit him on his home planet and this time she accepts the invite.
3:32 They threw in the second demolition for free. It's urban renewal! :D
I actually liked this episode. It was believable and captured me from start to finish. We were introduced to a new Andros whom I thought was very cute! I say don't look for the flaws Mr. Irving look for the endless possibilities!
Making fun of the flaws is kinda my job description...
@@dwashbur I know. I have been watching you for years. I'm a proud member of the LGBTQ Community and that's why I commented that the new Andros was cute and Ted is so fabulous and I have loved him 4 ever and knots Landing was one of my all time favorites! Thanks for all u do!
He is cute, I do have to agree.
In season 1 WW had the skirt and cape to wear at more formal events. Doesn't addressing 9:19 the UN qualify? I guess they were forgotten about.
Are the "Skrill" supposed to be like the "Skrulls"?
Why would Diana be vacuuming? In the last episode her luxury Georgetown apt came with maid service.
@15:41 is WW running away from Zardor?
Who plays in that episode?
How did she know that that part egg contained Andros's mind?!
She used his necklace and the one containing his mind glowed.
Two hearts... was this a Doctor Who reference?
Also, I giggled at IRAC's joke a little.
As to why the writers miss continuity errors, when I've read about when authors like Piers Anthony are writing their stories, they'll forget little plot points like that, in Piers' case, he can consult his fans through the message boards/forums/whatever, and re-enlighten himself on things he's previously written. (Not to mention, he had to write it, rewrite it who knows how many times, then send it off to the editors to get changed again before being published). I've also heard about George R.R. Martin on his Game of Thrones series sitting down and rereading his books' relevant portions when he starts to write a scene for his next story to fully capture the "voice" of his characters.
GRRM has also said he relies on fan forums to keep Walder Frey's offspring straight LOL
Tittle of episode is a paranoid schizophrenic rant
This is what an elderly man chooses to do with his spare time? Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease!
DC should have put the skrulls and Andros in the comics
Skrills, you mean. Skrulls are Marvel, and we can't mix worlds! ;)
@@dwashbur No, Skrills. Not Skrulls, so be quiet.
