If (x-2) is one of the factor of x^2 -5x+6 ,find other factor.
Let (x-b) other factor, then (x-2)(x-b)=x^2 -5x+6
x^2 -(b+2)x+2b=x^2 -5x+6
Comparing coefficients b+2=5
b=3.
Hence the other factor is (x-3).
