My favorite scene in "Queen of the Damned", features this song playing in the background. Akasha starts killing all the vampires in their club, by setting them, on fire, with just a wave of her hand. The club is turned into an inferno, and she just casually strolls out of the doorway, and through the fire.
The movie was so fucking underrated and I mean, the soundtrack is literally one of the best of all time. Korn goes so well with the movie and the songs are classic.
@@victorlebon4502 The movie is very rushed. Characters are forgetable( except lestat ofc). But even thou its very bad, i find it very enjoyable because of its atmosfere, music and lestat:)
In the books Lestat's voice is so remarkable because it can produce several tones at once, and for several of the songs they have 2-4 people singing parts of it. Beautifully done!
Um, yeah, the actor obviously didn't sing the song, I just said they used four different voices to create his 'voice'. Dude from disturbed, lead guy who killed himself from linkin park, guy from Pappa roach, and Marilyn Manson all contributed to parts of three of the songs they did for the movie, they also did recordings with just one artist singing for them those songs. If you listen to different editions you will hear the difference
@@jobananas3052 yeah i much prefer the CD with David and Chester singing. Even Manson did a few of the weirder vocal sounds for the mixes. I just re read the book actually, and it says clearly Lestat is a tenor- which Chester is. Would have been great if they'd had him sing it all for the movie, his vocal range is just wonderful.
I've studied classical music all my life and I can still say I deeply admire Jonathan Davis as a musician. He creates such raw, passionate music, whether you like it or not, you can still feel its energy, and it never seems to get old.
I'm 32 now, the movie and soundtrack is still top tier. I always come back for the nostalgia. My sister introduced me to the movie and all the bands on the soundtrack. I thought she was the coolest. Still do
I love the remade songs by various artists. But the original score with every song sang by Jonathan Davis is so much better to me. I love Orgy, David Draiman, Chester Bennington, and all the others. But Jonathan has a visceral quality to his voice. He translates emotion so well. You can feel the hunger, pain, loneliness, and anger in his words and in his music. I love it.
***** I don't really hear him whispering much lol. And in Chester's version he sings very low on the verses and screams the chorus as this version does a swell. But It takes all types and opinions to keep music interesting. So in my opinion no opinions are bad, just different lol :)

Very Underrated! An I'm not sayin that jus cuz Aaliyah's my favorite artist either.
