    Mistakes by Larry:
    1. Is 4 hours late.
    2. Lied about knowing how to kayak.
    3. Didn't ask for or take advice.
    4. Took the hardest option even though he knew he sucked at kayaking.
    5. Left his kayak.
    6. Left crucial gear on his kayak.
    7. Didn't look where he was swimming.
    8. Didn't stay put when on land.
    Mistakes made by Saul:
    1. Assumed Larry had a clue.
    2. Left in the dark.

There are classes you must take prior to entering frigid waters of the Puget Sound. Besides this, you always check weather reports prior to any attempts of crossing large bodies of waters. A kayak’s speed is 3 mph, the currents in the Puget Sound can be 2-4X that speed.

@@aaliyahali5537 Every piece of survival literature will tell you that if your life hangs in the balance, and there is someone there that is dragging you behind, your first option should be to go ahead and get HELP, regardless of whether or not they agree with you. If it weren't for Saul Larry certainly would have died, if Saul had attempted to stay behind, their ordeal would have likely ended fatally for both of them.
I love reading comments like yours that proliferate nothing but ignorance when it comes to exposure in the elements, and frankly, I would never go about on any kind of outdoor or wilderness trip with someone of your mentality because it would get us both Killed. Larry should be thanking Saul for getting back to land ALIVE and being able to muster Rescue Crews as quickly as he did, Larry is an outright moron for abandoning Ship and not at the very least grabbing his Flashlight, Flares, Drybag, ect. You clearly know nothing of Survival Situations, you should probably stay far out of the way of the Wilderness, because it does not care about your feelings facts are fact, and the fact is that if you find yourself in a similar situation, you MUST leave your party behind and try to get help as soon as you possibly can, because you will not physically be able to survive for your friend.

Real CV Media System is the problem 🏡 Our Life should be around these Great Qualities.....
1, Show all living creatures; all the love and kindness as much as you can.
2, Only try to be honest with yourself. If you try to be honest with others, you will get into big trouble soon or later.
3, Aim only one target at a time; otherwise you are chasing two rabbits and you will miss both. So, the reason behind it. Have one powerful reason and never ever give up the one you want the most.
4, Don't try to be good person only but be the powerful person. We will grow to be the one or we will die. There is no other choice.
5, Always learn and look for to improve something your life.
6, You are not alone. Love and faith the high power reduces unnecessary stress in life. But never completely rely on it.
7, Success and happiness are the byproducts of our usefulness. So, always increase the possibility of success.
8, Life is not going to be easy. Because of our unnecessary things. Eliminate all the unnecessary things as much as you can by organising yourself well with the environments.
9, Never believe anything without the proper evidences.
10, Always try to give more than you take.
Because it is dignity/ character of the divinity within you.
🌎 As long as people continue to see themselves as separate from everything else, they lend themselves to being completely enslaved. Success depends on how well we relate to everything around us. Joy comes from that bliss of connectedness. I believe that unarmed truth and love will have the final word in reality. To love; you should have good heart. I am a good person until I see a person better than my standard of goodness. Being good is the progress towards a worthy cause. Love is God. Whoever lives in love, lives forever. How selfish it is to try to keep something forever? Love is all about nourishing, nurturing, sharing and expanding the love within you for all. The principle to which we adhere to is that we have kindness of love at heart for the whole of mankind. As long as there is the unnecessary differences within us; we can not live peacefully so we have to eliminate all the unnecessary differences among us so we can love all. People abilities may vary but not there true love. If we love a person/ God for a reason then we love the reason but not the person. No reason is the reason to love the person because true love never fails. So do not compare or measure the true love as first or the last but love all truly. If you love people truly then you can understand people. If you don't love then you don't understand people at all.
People are controlled by system why?
The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more.
Truth About Health/Drugs Industry Because Of It Your Life At High Risk The drug industry is a 1/2 trillion dollars a year worldwide conglomerate. Almost 300 billions dollars just in North America. That is really big business. What would happen if everyone were well? There is no money in health. You see, good health makes a lot of sense but it doesn't make a lot of dollars. Because everything they do is toxic. Every drug they use, prescription drugs, all drugs are liver toxic, bar none. If you've had amalgam fillings put in your mouth by dentists. It is highly toxic. There's cancer because most of the chemos are themselves carcinogens. To view the tumor as the cancer and we know the tumor is not the cancer. The cancer industry is 200 billions dollars a year. The more work they get, the more profit there is. You have to dismantle; If the truth ever came out about what we would need to do. 30% of people of females in America are at risk of getting, will get cancer of the breast. The ones that are already dead have been grossly mistreated by the medical profession and by the government that supposedly is supposed to encourage free research and development of all possibilities. Why would medical doctors who studied medicine and practice medicine and are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies why would they go and look into vitamins? That they never had the answer orthomolecular. And as more and more of our population start taking their health into their own hands, there's going to be even more and more of changes. It can't go on the way it is. The system is failing apart. We must make nutrition the primary prevention strategy for the population. You are what you eat. You are everything that you have ever done to yourself. The choices you make directly affect the outcome of your life. - (Food Matters Documentary in Netflix)
😊 Well, I truly love God. I am not religious but very spiritual person. So, I believe 1) Religion is the beliefs in someone experiences But spirituality is having my own experiences. The mainstream religions people promote religious ideology by giving guidelines and guide but In my spiritual life; I do not want anyone or anything between God and me to restrict my freedom to worship God. 2) We do not need any authorities to do good work. The god work is the good work always. In contrast; organised mainstream religions are claiming that they have the authorities to do God works as leaders so on. 3) God is not capable of doing wrong thing, change the past for us and create anything out of nothing for us. Nothing means not anything. So, even God is limited. The mainstream religious people believe that God is unlimited. 4) God wants us to take responsibilities for our righteousness life but not for all the consequences of our actions because they are continued to exist among us. So, How can god punish us for all our consequences? The mainstream religious people believe we are full of sins because of all our actions. 5) Freewill is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure. So, we do not have choices all the time. In contrast teachings of the mainstream religions are promoting people to do god's will always because we all have choices of freewill always. 6) We can not separate everything into groups. So, everything for good and evil and there's no success and failure for everything. If everything is real then real things can not be threatened. Once you come to understand that God/The Holy Spirit is in each of us, You will no longer need a Book to tell you how to live. Then why we need religious scriptures? The Virtue is the expression of the basic goodness in our actions. The Basic goodness is the fundamental worthiness of every individuals. We are worthy to God always in everything. 7) Beliefs in a cruel God makes a cruel man. No matter what; every living creatures has the right to live and What makes their life cheap? Everything depends on everything. Nothing too big or too small in value. We can not love and hate at the same time; Being a vegetarian means love without cruelty happily. The mainstream religious people are killing people and sacrificing animals in the name of God. They promote God's cruel punishments. The Punishment is endless for Sinners/Devil according to religious scriptures. But God is love always. Overcome hate with love. If all religions for peace, unity? No way. Because they are not for peace. 8) Well, The God gave us everything to go from moment to moment in our lives as we do our part and pray only to thank god then the Love is in progress. The Love is always for everyone. We are always worthy of the God's love. Our greatest fear is; not to be loved by anyone but we are all loved by someone. When we eliminate all our unnecessary differences among us then true peaceful life is possible with the true love. If we can't find the peace within ourselves then we will never find it anywhere else. 9) This is the Fight for independence and freedom of humanity to worship God freely without religious guide and guidelines to restrict us. Unnecessarily, We do not want third party controls over us in anything ; especially in spirituality. 10) Revive Survive Thrive. Sincerely, The Real Peacemaker against religious oppression.

If you read what I said in context, compared to his friend Saul, Larry is “beta” compared to Saul who out of the two of them is the “alpha” male.
Both terms come with a lot of controversy as to not only what do they mean, but how can we use these words to make any kind of sensical “sense.”
Or how to use both words as a comparison between at least two males, or even a group of males. Ie, Compared to all the other guys in this team, Eddy is the alpha male.
Or Compared to Saul, Larry is the beta male. Using either term as a stand alone definition is “not very helpful” as “both terms need each other” in the same way as opposites attract. The word “opposite” has no meaning unless it is used to make a comparison between at least two things.
To say in the context of what you’re referring to, saying Larry is “beta” and Saul is “alpha” doesn’t mean that Larry is not good at sports or even that he can’t stand up for himself.
It simply means in the context that we are referring to, which is that in the actions and the unfolding and completion of this whole story, one of these guys can said to be the “beta” male compared to the other guy Saul, who can be said to be the “alpha” male.
I’ll leave it there because personally, even though I used these terms, in the strictest grammatical sense, both terms can be misused and could cause a person to stumble and fall into a pit. A bit like you just did Muhammad. Anyway, no offence intended! 😊

I was sitting on the couch with a coworker when Larry walks through the door. He was sporting this odd hat that looked like a beret (but wasn't) and was wearing a pair of "swimmies", those inflatable plastic things little kids put on their arms to float in a pool. I thought it was a gag at first but he ended up wearing them all shift. My coworker started laughing and wouldn't stop while we were watching tv it was getting uncomfortable lol. So I asked him what the deal was with the swimmies and he said "It's a long story." I only ever worked with him that one shift, don't know if he got fired or what. Had no clue about any of this. This reminds me of something that happened last year, in Hawaii. 2 young women had left all their belongings on the beach in front of our resort for several hours. No one knew where they had gone and other guests notified hotel staff, who in tern, alerted the life guard stations that they were missing. Within a half hour, a large search began.
They were found 3 hours later on some rich guy’s yacht. Evidently, one of the friends had decided she wanted a cocktail and had flashed the privately owned vessel from several yards away. A small motor boat, with a steward in it was launched to pick them up and bring them aboard the yacht. They had been partying all mid-morning, into the late afternoon.
When the search team told them they had caused a massive scare, they started complaining that people had rummaged through their personal belongings on the shore and wanted to press charges if any of their things ended up missing.
Zero gratitude, Zero apology and Zero accountability.

I love how everyone is having a go at Larry when clearly Saul became aware his friend was inexperienced and didn’t adjust his behavior despite been the leader the entire time. Larry was foolish. But no matter how you justify it Saul was diabolical - only proven at 22:34 how do you explain leaving a friend who just said they haven’t kayaked ? They clearly didn’t have a conversation. Also if you got the sense your partner wasn’t qualified, why would he even bother daring him to kayak back. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and can’t know the danger. Agin it doesn’t excuse in any way his decisions. But it’s baffling reading comments totally ignoring Sauls behavior was shocking. It was HIS trip and his lead. He didn’t even ask Larry if he had kayaked. He just assumed. For the third time, Larry was foolish, but there comes a time as the leader of that trip you have to adjust your behavior. Case and point; if his one true motivation WAS to go get help and save friend, why didn’t he just communicate that to his friend? Larry would have stayed in the kayak then floating with debris once it sank. As the experienced kayaker, he could have also reminded him If the entire goal was to save his friend to take the flares and flashlight with him and start waving in 30-60 minutes or at first sign of a goat. I don’t judge anyone in a survival situation, this is more to even out the, IMO, incredibly unfair commentary that is one sided reacting to this story told here.

Judging from Larry’s adamant insistence repeatedly that you should never leave a friend behind, I doubt that conversation in the middle of rough waters would have gone very well. Further, Larry had no clue they were in a life and death situation at that point and something tells me that trying to teach Larry about ocean tides and currents might be more of a task than you might realize, especially considering that he still believes his super strong swimming skills are what saved him. I agree about Saul’s error in giving Larry 3 choices, but Larry is clearly not very bright and it’s difficult to “lead” a moron full of bravado who lacks the common sense to realize when he’s making a life and death decision… and the WRONG life and death decision, over and over and over again. Thank God Saul was at least smart enough to know when shit just got real and made a fast, decisive, CORRECT decision when it counted the most, unlike Larry.

    • @CYMotorsport
      @CYMotorsport Месяц назад

@@amyb2253I don’t disagree with a word of any of that. But I think you’re being generous with Saul’s actions. You’re right Larry did not know how dire it was but Saul did. Wouldn’t he be telling him then??
For instance you’re implicitly saying Saul purposefully didn’t tell Larry bc he anticipated it not going well. I’m picking up on the implication, but actually address that - is that actually why you think he did that? Bc it was better to avoid a confrontation? I wasn’t there, and I’ll be open to it if you say so and are convicted about that. But interestingly, there’s really no other answer than those two. Either he left without communicating it out of a sense of survival in which case he was acting out of self interest which I do not deny increased the odds of Larry’s survival albeit indirectly by way of reaching help- & not bc he had that in mind.
OR alternatively he left without saying a word bc he feared a confrontation would ensure. I’m open to the latter. We have similar stories even on this series such as the father son pair where one of the sons left without telling his father and had his friend tell his father for him before miraculously swimming. But that of course wasn’t to avoid confrontation. I do agree it wouldn’t have been pleasant with Larry but my point stands he could have relayed the gravity of the situation and simply said atleast “grab your gear you’re not prepared I can atleast get to safety. You’re game enough to survive a little water aren’t you?” There’s plenty of ways to gamify this and de-escalate so you don’t essentially condemn a moron to death . Something tells me Larry atleast would not have sabotaged their chances and would also have considered grabbing the torch out of a sense of a challenge. To be honest many of these stories feature moronic decisions: it just turns out Larry is pretty candid about his ego going to really illustrate how they got there but ppl don’t admonish those quite this bad and I can make a case for a good amount of the stories told here where worse decisions were made. Larry is just openly Mr bean haha but he seems to be aware of his lack of knowledge once it’s out he’s a buffoon on rhe water. My thing is Saul didn’t try. I’ve kayaked before in similar conditions . Everyone is indeed responsible for their own survival ultimately but you still have a trip master who ensures basic materials and skills are met. It’s pretty clear at its most elementary form that was Saul who did nothing and adapted his behavior negligibly at best once he confirmed Larry was woefully underprepared. At that point he made decisions with new information in mind that overtly lowered Larry’s chances line failing to arm him with valid information he specifically had and also Larry specifically didn’t have re: survival. That’s perplexing and something I literally can’t imagine not doing . Imagine doing that to your mate - you know they don’t know simple life saving information.
