- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are competing in kAN's new and improved custom-built 1v1 robot battle arena. Each player must send different types of bots to kill their opponent's farmbots. As their mana slowly builds up to 10, they can spend 1 mana per totebot, 3 mana per haybot, or 10 mana per tape bot. Who will come out on top?

I think the tapebots should be 5 mana now that it always rushes to the front instead of just sniping
i think it should be about seven since one can kill about seven greenies consistently
@@snelake Yep, seven seems good. I'd say eight may be perfect though, just so that you can't cast heybot straight away

Day 3 now hello scrapman i have an idea for a video go to the trailmakers workshop and give your self 5 options and make a poll on yt/discord and try to make the build that won the poll in scrapmechanic and vice versa it could be an AWESOME series.

I noticed its kind of like a rock paper scissors thing, the haybots can beat totebots, the tapebots can beat haybots, and the totebots can beat tapebots. Also, maybe kan can balance the costs a little, because you have to wait for stronger bots longer, you are put at a disadvantage, so they should be a little bit cheaper
Well if you had to wait the same amount for stronger bots than you did for weak ones then what would be the point of the weak ones
What if you save up mana - and after a few seconds, it sorta consumes the mana but store it as a special power - when used you can spawn in a Farmbot. :D
i have to say this editing is amazing, the timelapses are so good

Suggestion:
Bring the Bot
Make a destructible vehicle with a container that can carry a bot.
Place bot-capsule in container of vehicle.
Pop capsule and race to the end before bot destroys the vehicle.
Fastest time / most distance / least damage wins.
You can see the Farmbots at 8:46 (Purple) and 17:06 (Yellow) just getting glitched out and exploding. I think it might a multiplayer thing.
if you’re talking about the first timestamp, i saw a purple getting smashed

That's a really neat editing trick that you use in this video. I might steal that idea if I have anything to use it for. 8:36 Those speed-ups but including the audio from when the timelapse finishes.

You should do a championship with your subscribers, I think it would be cool, but maybe the management is too unviable

Sooo I going back through and watching a ton of the MM episodes and caught something interesting in this episode. The moment ScrapMan notices one of his bosses get's defeated I watched a few seconds previous over and over in slow motion. I couldn't help but notice it looked like REALLY bad luck. I'm fairly certain it was literally just a piece of another bot flying off and hitting his Farm Bot.
you should add something to do while you wait for mana such as a slow firing potato gun (also increase default mana regen for faster games)

Good idea speeding up the battle instead of a hard cut.
It would be cool if this game have some kind of timer and after match is ended, cages of farmbots opens and they gotta fight till death.

I tried to understand what happened in the last 1vs1 match and the Farmbot randomly gets hit by NOTHING and dies. I think there are some bugs or some small debris caused damage. Anyhow, this was very cool, the Clash Royale better than Clash Royale we didn't know we needed. That music made everything so much better, felt like watching TABS but more exciting.
Just imagine now that you could do this as a 1v1v1v1 battle
I really like this game mode
MM with completely impractical vehicles, like who can go from one (long side) to the other with pistons or no mod paddles.
Spaming cheap bots for defense is like meatshielding in the battle cats.

Farmbots seem to die to random collision glitches rather than damage from other bots, if that's the case, it's a huge flaw in the game

I've had a similar idea a couple of months ago, here is the link if you want to check it out: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2660474598 , the build has a better mana system that can reliably subtract the cost of the bots, took a long time to perfect it, but in the end it works nicely.

Hey scrapman think you guys could do a hybrid car race you can choose the rules and such but I think you guys could do a front and back wheel power train design however I do not know the physics I'm scrap mechanic and if it will work
It will be cool 1v1v1 or 1v1v1v1 or 2v2 or 3v3.
That was fun and also some amazing editing as well.
You could redo this with Fant mod to display bot health and also use special bots that Fant added to the game
I totally was not screaming at you to use a log to take out all the tote bots
you need to balance the mana for every bot. also the totebots are better late game whereas haybots are good early game - needs some balancing. 10 mana for tapebots is too expensive.

No it wouldn't that would just lead to pathing issues and seeing as the bots priorityse other bots most of the time it would be way to easy for a bot to get unfairly stuck some where and all the enemy's would just go strate for it plus the bots need to be able to see the farm bots so the arena can't be big and additional objects may block line of sight

I checked and in the battle with man and scrap man scrapmans farm it got squashed in between its house
next multiplayer how about a scrap mechanic version of fall guys.... each person builds a obstacle course... then combine them and first to the finish wins

Maybe I’m just stupid but how is he doing the speed edit. When the gameplay speeds up the voices don’t and I haven’t noticed any cuts. Yet somehow the voice is still in sync with the gameplay

Scrap mechanic doesn't do triangles well, but a cross shape for 1v1v1v1 or 2v2 would work.
