Matt, that was a great glimpse into a world we die hard 100 yarders know little about. I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot 25 yard at RMAC this past year (for the 1st time) and it truly is a different experience, but every bit as fun and challenging. Thanks for the video and it's unfortunate that we won't be able to get together at EBR this year, you'll be missed. Until next years RMAC... Cheers and happy hunting.
This is the shooting range I come to the most, can’t believe I missed you, and I’m very sad! My biggest wish is to meet you someday! Love your videos, and keep on making them!
Hi, Matt! Good Day! ^_^ Our boss (a member of the Philippine Team) was briefly shot in the 4:36 mark of this very video. He's the one (wearing a dark blue cap) taking a video using his mobile phone in the background. His 73rd birthday is coming up this February. We were wondering if you could send him a fansign or a short video to greet him. He says you're his idol and he watches your videos quite often. Hope you could make this happen. Hope to hear from you the soonest!
Good video Matt, I was like you 25m really not my thing but I got a devil inside ... I have try with the impact, scoring 241 as my top score @ 25 and that got me thinking ...want to do 250! jaja will see in the future.
Matt, I've got a Mac1hunter if u are keen to try it out. I'm up in JHB if u ever come this side let me know. I see Ted's Holdover did a review on it a few years back.

I've seen a clip where you was at a competition..you were using the fx impact with a quick pump instead of the bolt action lever..where can i find a part like that
I appreciate how you and a few other shooters were using a bipod. Imho, these folks using the bench vise to basically lock their gun in place to the table are just ridiculous. At that point it becomes a who can adjust their scope the best competition. Where's the fun in removing the human element from the competition? You don't even need basic fundamentals at that point. Step 1. Adjust scope. Step 2 with as little human contact on the gun as possible, slightly tap the hair trigger on the rich mans competition gun. Step 3 tell people you are a competition shooter when all you do is push a button. I liken this to so called "photographers" who use a digital camera, take 15 images of the same subject and then Photoshop the best image to look like they took a good photograph. Your not a good photographer, your a good digital imager. Kudos to the actual sportsman who handled their guns with out the assistance of a mechanical vise to do the majority of the shooting for them.
I am a stand up shooter and just discovering this competition, you are so damn right, it's ridiculous, I have to find a rich sponsor/donator and become world champion ah ah
I am trying to find a big bore slug not pellet pcp 1 moa air rifle at 400 yards + it can be single shot any suggestions would be appreciated oh quieter is better but not as important.
How is this still competitive shooting when the gun is gripped between vice grips. "Im the best air rifleman in South africa, let me just go grab all of my equipment that aims for me".
It's really about how well one can tune their scope and pull the trigger at the right time. I want to see more pistol competitions. I use to shoot to rifles only, but got bored after a few years until I started shooting pistols. But i'm not into the whole run as fast as you can while shooting targets as fast as you can, that's kinda silly in my opinion. I just like holding a pistol freely and aiming for the bull. But replica pistol competitions are still not taken serious yet.
In my country we don't shoot with the sissy air guns (**). We use the real rifles that can hit a beer can at 1100 yards (Surgeon, Axial Precision, Remington Police...).
I didn't see any $100'00 guns there. But if you notice, most of them were wearing sponsor shirts, those sponsors cover a lot of the cost or the shooters get huge discounts on the equipment. I had five sponsors when I raced rc cars, I got most of my stuff at %50-30 percent off of cost. But being rich doesn't mean you have to own a mansion. Unless you're a goofy celebrity who has five homes, ten cars, two airplanes..now that's stupid. Why anyone would want a 20 bedroom house is beyond me, they gonna sleep in a different room every night lol
There is absolutely no skill needed in shooting that type of bench press competition when the guns in a vice ......my grandmother could put an ounce of pressure on a little pad and shoot the same exact way

Was anyone else waiting for the crosshairs to come up on that giraffe, followed by a head shot ?
With the wind they should just call this a crapshoot competition.
Em 2022 vão usar controles remotos e braços mecânicos sentados a 2 metros da arma para ter ''o minimo de interferência''. kkkj

I want to see how far a surging can shoot
is there a reason why so many scopes were 1” tubes?
Cupillac I assume they dont need the extra internal adjustment only shooting at 100 meters. Edit: yards

Not a single American in the top 25 in rimfire. Pathetic.
These people are so rich they dont even know how to spend their money. Most of their guns cost more than a house.
Ya don't become rich spending stupidity lol. Work hard to have toys.
