It's always important that when you don't know what you're doing to just unbolt parts and scatter them all over your backyard. And if it doesn't come apart, get a hammer and beat on it. If the small hammer doesn't work, get a bigger one!
Never seize on the shaft but use blue locktite on the set screw. A little heat will remove it but you don’t want it to loosen while running. 🙂 as mentioned, a hydraulic motor on the conveyor would be a nice addition.
Good upgrade on your wood splitter maybe the thing you do is built a cover to help keep the rain and snow off splitter and try keep it dry and you too when you splitter wood
Good job, but if I could give you one piece of advice it would be to wear hearing protection. I worked on a factory floor for eight years not wearing it much and I was young and dumb, and now I'm old and hard of hearing.
I think you did a h*** of a job It looks like something I would do I got the hillbilly Technology So you just have a good day and keep on doing what you're doing Catch you on the next one
maybe should have added a pump mount to the motor and run a new hydraulic line on one side and been fixed in an hour, the motor is already tapped for the mount.
I had a diesel engine on a miller welder (threw a rod)I had to cut and smash the engine to separate engine from welder need a better design of a quick cupler engine driven equipment
Just a work in progress......... you can outrun the conveyor now so there is that. A bit loud on your ears tho, might just lengthen the exhaust to some way of muffling the sound down some as I am old now and near reading lips. I do kind of wish I had taken a bit more concern over hearing. Not ragging on ya as if your happy then its all good
Much more suitable engine for your log splitter. I see a log lifter in the future. Your back will thank you in thirty years. Ask me how I ruined my spine and can't even get out of bed. Ever!!!

Now add a hydraulic motor to your elevator and power it off the diesel aswell so you don't need to run 2
Great to see you back, Dave! Great job.
Glad to see you back Dave!!! Missed your videos.
Wow good job. I don't think I have never seen a diesal log spitter but it makes sense
Those little diesels are great! The engine note didn’t change at all under load, Man! You burn some BIG firewood
Nice job Dave I like the setup and great job making everything work
Thanks for sharing Dave.

Nice work, the antiseize in particular.

thanks for the video Dave .

What's makeing that pop'n sound ? Sticky valve spring? May be carbon deposit?

Yeah I do wear ear plugs there small and foam so kinda hard to see but I wear them anytime I do anything loud
People can say what they want about WV it def has its rough parts but the views are amazing
Put a tote on your engine that will protect it from the weather good luck 👍 😉!!!!!!!!!!!+++++++++
A grinder or Dremal cut off wheel would have helped!

maybe I am missing something, but wouldn't it have been easier to raise the pump instead of lower the motor? Great content/video btw.
maybe should have added a pump mount to the motor and run a new hydraulic line on one side and been fixed in an hour, the motor is already tapped for the mount.
I could have done that, I didn’t want to mess with redoing all my hydraulic hard lines
Put some Heat on it and let it expand some. Where you at son...West by God Virginia. What was that sleave made out of? Lead?
Diesel might not be the best choice if you need to use it in the winter.
You should figure out how to put a wood professor together
that coupler isnt worn that way because it wasnt aligned right , its worn because the spider has been missing for a long time
Look to the Right of the Tape measure...

Yeah I wear earplugs anytime I’m doing firewood, there small and hard to see on camera
Hey DAVE! You might need a bigger hammer!
Deisel 50% oil 50% oil flush
Hearing protection? You will appreciate hearing your grandchildren one day 🤔
Suppose to use 15-40 to get some sludge atf 4tbsp.or Lucas oil stabilizer
😛😛😛❤❤🦾🦾🦴👍👍👍👍👍
