This could be the Stronghold game we wanted for so long.
Yeah i saw that bug before when they squeeze through the castle walls. I hope they fix that for the sake of the archer families. May they mourn in peace
i had actually drawn up like 4 designs, one that takes 160 stone and has like 20 towers - but the towers don't work and aren't practical for people to make early
To be honest, I don't mind them glitching through the walls. Just imagine they climb it. Since only a handful are getting through anyways, you easily RP it for a little mountaineering. After all it's only a 3m [9feet] high fence.
Can't wait for catapaults, hope we get moats and drawbridges too.
This looks epic ! can't wait to see proper sieges income (I saw Slavic had a vote about having those).
I can only cross my fingers and hope to see things like different tiers of walls / equipment / AI that can men those and more.

Nice castle design! Hopefully they add even more options like ditches with drawbridges in the future (which might keep the enemy from simply walking through the wall). The material from the ditch could then be used for an artificial hill with the stronghold on top. A man can dream.
Sieges will be nuts
I do hope he makes that walls and buildings stop arrows and other projectiles because whats the point of standing behind a buildings if the enemy can shoot through it!.
And a extra option for archers to set them on a high arch fire angle To shoot over walls and buildings ect.
My mercenaries got killed, but I still pay for them and no new mercenaries will spawn. Anyone else had that problem?

People are aware this game is still in early access.. of course a game that is primarily a city builder, and more so at that a rural manor builder, with small scale combat as an added bonus. People are so salty this game didn’t release in its completed state… what game does these days.
It's funny that the Dev and everyone says "city builder" but every time I load into the game it is a picture of soldiers fighting in the medieval era with swords and heavy armor. You would think the loading screen would be some peaceful picture of a farming town if it was meant to be a "city builder" game.

This game kinda sucks honestly. The combat is pretty trashy.
@@tjn2254 The game is visually a tour-de-forcew, but the mechaics are really badly borked just about every thing needs reworking to make it reasobbaly realistic.
What is great about the game is that the developer has not taken the huge money he made on the release and headed for the Maldives, he is on Discord mosts days and has shown a readiness to listen and act that makes me optimistic this will work out to be a top game. I am a TW survivor and cynical, but I like this game and where it hopefully is going.
