Literally love this top. I made the medium size in the video and it fits amazingly (im a 34c). I will say if your a wide rib cage girly like me you would probably benefit by adding around 20 more stitches to the straps to have some wiggle room and strap left to tie. otherwise it’s so cute and fits lovely and super easy to follow along. Literally my new favorite thing🤍🤍
I’m a 34C as well and currently making this top with some adorable psychedelic cotton yarn(Amazon!) Awesome to know this pattern fits pretty comfy, can’t wait to finish it!😁
This tutorial is AMAZING!! I made this top while chilling in a coffee shop and I just finished and tried it on and it’s SO flattering. Best crochet tutorial I’ve ever followed. Thank you for this ❤
I had a slow night at work and made this top in one sitting out of some scrap yarn that a colleague gifted me. So much fun! It felt nice to not put three months into a garment for once, haha. It turned out great, so thank you!
I made 2 so far, thanks to your awesome tutorials ❤, I need to work out some kinks out measurement wise but otherwise im So proud of myself. Thank you so much for making these videos, I'm truly a visual learner, the written patterns make me feel like I'm doing a math equation( I don't know how to properly read them either(lol) and makes Me wayy Too Anxious
Really wish I could post it, and you tell me what you think. The 2nd top I made different I followed the basic cup patterns the bottom half is different tho❤
Made this pattern for my wife and she definitely wants more in different colors so i bought the pattern. It was really fun to make and it looks great on her! Thanks for the great video and the great pattern!
As. 53 year old-going on 30 -year old beginner here your videos have inspired me. I bought a skein of sugar and cream yarn it’s aqua white and brown combo colors and I’m making a halter tank top without a pattern just came up with something on my own but definitely buying more yarn and doing this pattern! Thank you ❤
As always, another awesome tutorial. Love you! I watched the whole video with no yarn and hook in hand. 🤣 But I will be making it as soon as I’m done with my other crop top. (Yours of Course) Thank You so much for taking the time to satisfy our need for this top. 🤪 🥰🥰🥰🥰

this is definitely a favorite top! just made this and i am never taking it off ever. i am gonna be buried in this top. super easy pattern and just look so good. my girls feel secure too. i went with a medium but 180 for the straps and i love this thing. thank you kelsie for the pattern!
Kelsie, I was on my way to show the pattern photo to my friends and ask if I could pull this off at my size, and I was entirely THRILLED to see a plus size model on the listing!! Now, when I get paid, I will DEFINITELY be buying this pattern; because if she can look that amazing, then I can definitely pull it off too
@@notyourgrammascrafts Yes I did! I bought the pattern and made the largest size, but unfortunately despite me usually being a size XL the top did not fit my anatomy ):
Love it! I did change the boarders though so it would be easier to lace in the straps in the back, not needing a hook to assemble the back (something like [sc, chain 2, skip 2 stiches, sc 4] repeat) if you wanna do that too, make sure to put the final “loops” at the corners of the row, so it wont curl
Thank you for your tutorials! I've been able to make a pullover cardigan for each of my kiddos and made a Lily Top. Had to improvise a 2xl for the Lily but was SOOO HAPPY to see you have a 2xl option for this top and a couple of others. Thank you for including my size when you made this pattern! Amazing tutorial! Very clear and I finished my top without crying once 😂 one note for others: I did the straps with SC and I regret it- they’re just a little too fluffy to fit through the body area well and it means it’s very hard to put on and take off by myself 😅 I’d say go with slip stitch like she does
Yeah finally I finished this top in 5 hours 😅❤ this pattern is super easy to follow I am in love with this pattern I saved this video in 2023 and now I make this top thank you so much kelsie 🥰
Just bought my first pattern from you for this top after making 4 peek a boo tops. Thank you for this kelsie. I cant wait to make them in every size and finally stash bust all the cottons i got on clearance last year!

Bought a crocheting kit and this was the first thing i made. the instructions are so clear and easy to follow along with thank you! Made a few mistakes here and there but it still looks great. I love it! 😍
Very easy and fun with great instructions! The only thing is that the straps were a little too short for me, but I did add an extra 2 rows of triangles which didn’t help. I would add an extra 20 or 40 chains if ur optionally adding to the triangles, or just want the extra room to work with!
I’ve made a few of these using your written tutorial and the second half always comes out a bit shorter and smaller than the first! Do you have any advice on how to avoid/fix it?
I've just started it. I'm breaking at the middle ten row part. But i had to start it again and go down a hook size because mine first piece was so holey. So I'm now using G hook 4.5m it is looking a lot better. I've been recovering from. Head injury past month half so I'm slower on my crochet but i can't wait to finish this in few days!❤
Did this make the top smaller for you? I'm impatient amd want to make this but don't know where my 5mm hook went. Thank you for taking the time to read this 😀
@MiyokoHana342 yes. For me using the 4.5 G hook actually worked out much better in the end for the top. End project was same and not big like I was getting when I tried to use the 5MM. HOOK.
Thank you so so much for this tutorial it has been so easy to follow and I am absolutely loving how this too is turning out so much thank you so so much for your videos
As a plus sized woman : 5’6 & 275 pounds. Bra size: 48C (plus i always use an extension) I have a WIDE chest and back but small breasts. My first attempt was the XXL and after some pulling and stretching I got it to fit but the chain wasn’t long enough. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is like me. 😁
Just finished this at 3 AM lol It was so so easy, so quick, sooo cute. The support is great, but I'll probably make the straps thicker for a better look. Gonna make it in many colors too!

Do you recommend sizing up or down if you are in between? Just finished a peekaboob top and it came out great! Wanna try this one. Love your channel and your tutorials! ❤
I was wondering why the pattern doesn’t specify the stitch count of each row when you increase or decrease. When I come to the last 14 rows my stitch count is off to match the other side. Do you offer the stitch count for all sizes. I’m so frustrated.
I dunno where I got it from but I accidently did this top in a 4mm and was so confused why none of the measurements were working out. Took reading the comments for me to think about rewinding and checking the hook size.
I measured myself as 42 inches so I made a size large and I just completed it and it’s too small, I’m feel like I’m about to cry because that took 7 hours and now I’ve got to take it all apart
Absolutely purchased the pattern.Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial and for your hard work designing this! Absolutely loved wearing it out when I finished making mine~!
Do you need to wear anything under or is it okay to wear as is? Just wondering since I’ve never made any crochet clothing but I’m excited to try to make some and wear it!!
You totally choose how you wear it without anything under or with something under it. I prefer to wear a undershirt or tank top under mine but it is because I'm not very comfortable showing so much of my body in public. To many people get hurt nowadays.
So because it’s mainly SC it should be dense enough imo. But it would be easy to sew in those fabric insert bra pads for secure coverage and a lil extra support
I’m on my third top!! I love this pattern I made my 2year old daughter a xs and it so cute I made myself a xl but it was too small but that my fault for not measuring haha but I’m working on my xxl right now but definitely buying this pattern!!!
Hi! I have a few questions and I would really appreciate if you took the time to answer them. How do you price your pieces, say a top takes me 8 hours and I have an hourly pay of $10 but I don't think the top would sell for $80 what do I do, do I underprice myself? And also how do you make different sizes like what are the size measurements you use and how do you put that into effect with your crochet tops ect. Love your crochet pieces and videos. Xx
I bought the written pattern and made with it size L, but I feel like it is way to big. I plan to make size M and will definitely post in on IG marking you in it ❤❤❤ amazing pattern easy to follow, great tutorial ❤
@@emilyloseke1386 I do! If the pattern calls for anything smaller than a double crochet I go up a size with the hook. I have very high tension lol. ONE day I’m gonna be a big girl and do a swatch! 😂

Did I just make a top in 43 mins?! Yup! What a clear easy tutorial. I liked your other version but loved this one!! Thank you

So cute can’t wait to make a top for this summer!😍
I LOVE YOU AND UR WORK ❤❤
Hiiiii I love your crochet tutorials so much!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I wanted to make this top for a while but couldn't figure it out myself 😛❤️
I made this top, and it turned out so cute
I made one for my daughter and she loves it 🥰
Absolutely purchased the pattern.Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial and for your hard work designing this! Absolutely loved wearing it out when I finished making mine~!
Thank u for posting this pattern. I really enjoyed making one for granddaughter. 💜
Loved it! Well explained and looks amazing, can’t wait to wear it
I’m on my third top!! I love this pattern I made my 2year old daughter a xs and it so cute I made myself a xl but it was too small but that my fault for not measuring haha but I’m working on my xxl right now but definitely buying this pattern!!!
Ok wait I think i’m being stupid can someone help me? The description said medium was chain 17, but in the video she said 16
Chain 17, 16 stitches
17 chains 16 single crochet she used 17 as a chain 1
I love this top but I can't get it to make right it comes out wonky even tho I'm following exactly what your doing :,(
I been WAITIN for this omfg!! 🤩
Xx
I've got some Truboo in my stash! Its smaller than the yarn used here, but i cant wait to try it out!
im a beginner but this was so easyy to follow tyyyy so muchhh its so pretty ❤❤❤❤
I bought the written pattern and made with it size L, but I feel like it is way to big. I plan to make size M and will definitely post in on IG marking you in it ❤❤❤ amazing pattern easy to follow, great tutorial ❤
May I ask what bra size you tend to wear? I’m a 32DD, almost a 34 band and I’m also deciding between a M or L 👏🏻
I made a large and my bosoms were still everywhere. 😂😩
@@emilyloseke1386 I’m a 36 E and made a large with a 6 mm hook. My bosoms don’t cooperate with anything. I will try with a different hook next time.
@@geeLjayy good to know! Do you often find yourself changing to a bigger hook? My tension is so unpredictable w/o a dang swatch 😅
@@emilyloseke1386 I do! If the pattern calls for anything smaller than a double crochet I go up a size with the hook. I have very high tension lol. ONE day I’m gonna be a big girl and do a swatch! 😂
YEESSSS I have been waiting for this video for like actual months IM SO EXCITED
