It makes me really sad how a lot of Jordanians don’t see the beauty in our own country. There are so many beautiful places with views you won’t see any where, and most of my friends don’t notice it. Personally, I used to be exactly like them, but speaking to tourists and hearing their points of view really makes me realize how beautiful Jordan is.
@@Odat maybe, but thats not completely true. Where I live, we overlook another area and you can see all of the houses from a distance and then mountains behind it. A few years ago, I was taking a walk with my friend and I told her “the view is so beautiful” and she replied with “you are speaking as if we’re looking at an ocean. You can only say this when you’re in turkey or someplace else”. Beautiful view, free to look at, and you can casually see at many places in Jordan. I truly believe that “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” If you look close enough, you can see everything to be magnificent. Sadly, most Jordanians are too stubborn to notice. Lack of financial sources block us from seeing the true land we are living upon
A very common theme with most people... I didn't realize the beauty of my own country until I left and came back.
It’s because locals are barely making it financially so they don’t have the time to resources whereas a tourist is specifically there to see sites.

9:26 as a Muslim Jordanian. I started fasting when I was 8 years old. It was hard, but we made it.
bravo on this amazing video dude. props to you. I live around two streets behind the romanian theatre. It's truly a magical place. and even after many years of living here, I will never get used to the sight and the magnificent cultural sites here. I can't imagine if I didn't visit the romanian theatre 10:18 every week for several years. must've been an awesome trip to you!

Your perception of the Middle East will have been altered considerably. The People of Jordan are incredibly hospitable and loving. So many beautiful and historical places to see and touch....I cant encourage you enough...Just GO !
It's easy to fly into Amman to begin your journey. Dead Sea, Abjoun, Wadi Rum, Petra, Aqaba.... it's all so unbelievable. This American loves the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, her King and People.
