    Hi Rachel, I'm saw this pop up on my phone so I jumped over from your 52tagshannemade challenge playlist to watch. I'm so glad I did! I love your new Christmas journal! The cover turned out excellent with that awesome picture of 'Ole St. Nick! The open spine is totally cool and I love your pages selection. The green scene printed on vellum is such a pretty page! I hope you enjoy your new temporary craft room. You are amazing! Packing, moving, and still making videos for us each day. Thank you very much!! I hope you are able to settle in your new place and relax comfortably now. Congrats on your new temporary place.😊

    My daughter, with new baby, and I had to move temporarily into a house while rehab was being done on mine. It was awful! My house is on a quiet street with a huge yard. At the temp house, the front door was only about a dozen feet from a busy little street! I began having dreams that were really strange. They settled once we were back in my house, thankfully.
    This is going to be an awesome project!

    I'm itching for the sewing journal as well. I have been going through things and putting them together to be better prepared. Hey Lulu. I have a book where the spines separated when I took pages out. This will be awesome to do. Thanks Rachel for the inspiration; even though mine is not Christmas.

    Love it! I find a large pushpin and a piece of foam are awesome for making holes in many different materials. I think I got mine at Wa-lMart or an Office supply store in the states. Thanks for sharing your technique and talent!

    Super cute finished book and love the clever binding - "making it up as you go at its best" indeed! Lol :) I think that is a great project for someone like me that isn't big on measuring. You and Lulu are so sweet at the end enjoying the fruits of your labor. Thank you for sharing all these weeks while you and your family have been in full upheaval with the renovation and move.

    I finally finished my daughter and granddaughter's 25 days of Christmas journals. Had a few learning experiences with my daughters. 🤣🤣 My 1st 5-hole stitch spine on a file folder cover.
    I loved it. 🤣 I've been taking your approach, "it's just paper"
    It really does help the anxiety.

    Wow, your book is beautiful!!! I'm so doing this, looks pretty simple. To hide those inside stitches you could always add an open envelope and then close it up to create a center pocket. Thank you for the inspiration!! * L

    Oh I’m in the same frame. No tree. No decorating it’s packed away. Part of it is here part of it in Tennessee.
