Hi Rachel, I'm saw this pop up on my phone so I jumped over from your 52tagshannemade challenge playlist to watch. I'm so glad I did! I love your new Christmas journal! The cover turned out excellent with that awesome picture of 'Ole St. Nick! The open spine is totally cool and I love your pages selection. The green scene printed on vellum is such a pretty page! I hope you enjoy your new temporary craft room. You are amazing! Packing, moving, and still making videos for us each day. Thank you very much!! I hope you are able to settle in your new place and relax comfortably now. Congrats on your new temporary place.😊
My daughter, with new baby, and I had to move temporarily into a house while rehab was being done on mine. It was awful! My house is on a quiet street with a huge yard. At the temp house, the front door was only about a dozen feet from a busy little street! I began having dreams that were really strange. They settled once we were back in my house, thankfully. This is going to be an awesome project! Thanks! Su
Very pretty! Love the mix of papers and the spine is really cool. Can’t wait to see you decorate it. Not sure though….do you love it? Lol…. You always make me laugh.
Love it, Rach! Great job figuring out the stitching! It looks just great! And how wonderful to hear LuLu’s sweet voice! That girl is so proud of her momma! So terrific to hear! Sending hugs to you both! ❤️
I just love this journal! It was very clever of you to figure out how to bind together the front and the back with the fabric tabs. I think that was brilliant!
Really enjoyed watching you put this journal together. I like your attitude considering how much you have had thrown at you the past few weeks with having to pack and move and also to keep up with your videos. You are amazing.
Hi Rachel! I love crafting along with you! I forget what I'm doing or what I'm looking for, too! Ha! Ha! Ha! You Make me feel like I'm sitting right across from you, I just love it! You are so imaginative, I don't know where you get all your wonderful ideas! I'm glad your doing the prompts for Dec. I got Margarete Miller's Collage Art Gluebook for Dec prompts and I'll look at 49dragonfly's, too. I really love collage. I hope you share your process as I'm very new to it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and love with us. A big fan and supporter, Diane
Hi Rachel! Really cool process and I love how it turned out, looking forward to what's next. I'm jelly you are going to Florence to Christmas 💜 Take care!
I'm itching for the sewing journal as well. I have been going through things and putting them together to be better prepared. Hey Lulu. I have a book where the spines separated when I took pages out. This will be awesome to do. Thanks Rachel for the inspiration; even though mine is not Christmas.
Love it! I find a large pushpin and a piece of foam are awesome for making holes in many different materials. I think I got mine at Wa-lMart or an Office supply store in the states. Thanks for sharing your technique and talent!
Brilliant, well done. Hello Lulu... You might just need to center yourself a little bit, couldn't see all you were doing. I am so looking forward to the stitchery book, I am working on my cover and pages. Making puffs and hexies and sorting buttons, so much fun. Look forward to what you have for us tomorrow. Love & Hugs Aussie girl.
