it's ok to keep calling them washi it's kinda like how all tissues to blow your nose is called Kleenex it is brand recognition I truly believe it's a shame that some people are just so miserable within themselves they feel the need to try and make others miserable like them I do so enjoy watching you make such lovely things and your little stories sometimes make me laugh take care stay safe

Today the dogs and I took 2 walks down the lane and back surrounded by corn growing and almost ready to be cut. It’s sunny but a cool wind blowing until we get where the corn surrounds us. The dogs love it they smell rabbits and deer and fox and who knows what’s in the corn. It’s 63 degrees.
I love your hand made washi ignore the keyboard warriors. They tippy tappy horrible comments and we can't stop that Rachel. Just now realise they dont matter we your true fans love your work. I tried making your faux washi and loved the relaxing time watching tv and just doodling. Love your talent your great at what you do just block negative manners let them tippy tappy on their keyboards somewhere else. They do it for attention. So back to your washi it's great because it costs virtually nothing and you can match it to whatever your working on. Lots of love and thanks for all you do xxxx

I LOVE the handmade WASHI!! Such a great idea. I have tons of Washi and I rarely find just the right one for a project. Now I can just make my own. I've already made hand drawn pattern paper to use and copied it.

I used a leftover piece of double sided sticky sheet. Meant I could cut it any width I wanted and so much quicker than strips of tape, but you can't tear it either. I don't have different width tapes and had the leftover and needed to make faux washi immediately 😄

Loved the grey & white sort of lacey-looking paper you put behind the little girls on the first tag. Call it washi if you want, we'll know what you mean when we see it. Please don't censor yourself for a fussy-grumpy person who doesn't appreciate your creativity.
Please don't feel like you need to apologize for calling them washi tape - we audience understand what you mean and love your videos - can't wait to try to make them myself - I have a bunch of those type of markers just sitting here...the ideas are overflowing now! :)
I say put the Karen troll on block and call it washi. I love your washi. I even refer to the decorative strips of thin paper I cut from magazines and glue onto the letters I write to my family as washi. The Karen troll can go sniveling elsewhere with her hate and discontent. You don’t deserve it and we who love your art want her gone from your life forever. Again, I love your washi. I almost wish Karen Troll could hear me saying WASHI WASHI WASHI! But that would make me like her. The LAST thing I aspire to be. Once again, I love your washi. Please keep making it and please keep calling it washi.

Unfortunately there are prople who have hangups about calling something that it isn't. Some are kind of OCD about the issue and Unfortunately some have thinking issues that make them take everything literally. I know an Autistic gal that if you called the strips of paper Washi Tape she would look forever for a roll of washi tape that looked like that, even after finding strips of paper that looked the same. Then of course tere are others who just have to complain.
If you now feel uncomfortable calling it washi tape - how about Roxy tape instead. Yes, that’s what I’ll call it, I like it!

I say put the Karen troll on block and call it washi. I love your washi. I even refer to the decorative strips of thin paper I cut from magazines and glue onto the letters I write to my family as washi. The Karen troll can go sniveling elsewhere with her hate and discontent. You don’t deserve it and we who love your art want her gone from your life forever. Again, I love your washi. I almost wish Karen Troll could hear me saying WASHI WASHI WASHI! But that would make me like her. The LAST thing I aspire to be. Once again, I love your washi. Please keep making it and please keep calling it washi.

Unfortunately there are prople who have hangups about calling something that it isn't. Some are kind of OCD about the issue and Unfortunately some have thinking issues that make them take everything literally. I know an Autistic gal that if you called the strips of paper Washi Tape she would look forever for a roll of washi tape that looked like that, even after finding strips of paper that looked the same. Then of course tere are others who just have to complain.
How about if we call it beautiful handmade faux washi? Or..roxy-washi!!
