Kibbutz Lotan ecovillage turns trash into treasure

In the Negev desert near Israel's southernmost city of Eilat, Kibbutz Lotan has been ahead of the curve when it comes to sustainability, which it's been promoting as a way of life for the past 40 years.
We take a tour of the ecovillage and the organic garden, and learn more about how the kibbutz established itself on principles of sustainability, and its ambitious plans for the future.
