@@herzkine also, i cant speak for other countries but since seb is german like me: we have to pass a first aid test just to get a normal drivers license, im pretty sure he would have paid more attention to it than me given his job xD over here we are supposed to do just what he did in case we spot an accident on the road so that might influence him to do so in this case

Carlos is such a good person. He looked genuinely worried and only started talking again after he saw that Lando was okay. Everytime I see Carlos and Lando talk after a race even though they ended up in different teams makes me feel joy to know that there is also true friendship beyond just the sport and buissness.
Absolutely. I remember being a youngster and listening to him speaking english. I had no clue back then so i reminded him as a good english speaker. But recently i watched a video of him, about those years... man, he was so terrible... He will never manage to do it properly i imagine.
@@GordoFriman He just has a thick accent, it's not terrible. He expresses his ideas and feelings in a very good and understandable way, that's what really matters when you speak a 2nd or 3rd language.
Honestly I just have so much love for Carlos Sainz and Sebby Vettel. Seb has always been one of my favourite drivers, both on and off the grid. But they both seem like such genuinely nice guys. Also, it has to be said, Fernando Alonso has REALLY changed his attitude. Now that he's no longer racing for the championship but just for the fun of racing he's turned into such a different character. I'm starting to really like seeing him on the grid. First the big accident during the W Series accident and now Lando’s crash. Thank god everyone got out of their accidents safely and with minor injuries! You can also clearly see the worry in Carlos face when he realized that was Lando that crashed.
Makes you think about the 94 weekend in Imola.. with the Barrichello crash, Ratzenberger death and then Senna. Everyone kept saying not to race. FIA fucked up with how long it took them to decide not to race but ultimately it was the right decision. Something was brewing and thank goodness it didn’t go past the Lando accident
@@bs2055 But we also have to thank the FIA with stepping up the safety of the cars since the Imola crash in 94. But like you said, thank god that the accidents didn't go past the Lando crash and nothing going to the point of the Hubert accident in 2019.

Last 10 years has been a different mentality in the sport... The drivers are friends.... Yes they'll be disappointed in their own performance but they are happy if someone does well and always want people to be safe

I don't really watch racing but I'm starting to get into it, but even though I couldn't understand him, you can tell that Carlos GENUINELY had concern. He couldn't even answer questions because of the concern

Folks forget that Alonso and Norris have a bit of history in that when before Norris started his F1 career he raced in the same car as Alonso at Daytona 24h and impressed Alonso greatly. They are friends I'm sure.
crashes like that can sometimes be more terrifying to the spectators, especially knowing that it was raining and that AH19's crash was also in the same area

Anyone else notice how both people interviewed had close ties to Norris? Sainz was obviously his teammate for years, but before Lando got the drive, he was working with Fernando in the garage in 2018. It's a small world.

To be fair, Lando started to lose traction going over the bump at the bottom of Eau Rouge and then completely lost traction in Raidillon. Thankfully, no one was right behind him. 🙂
Me too, the section of track is so fast it’s not just the impact with the wall either, it’s that the walls are so close most of the time the car ends up back on the track after hitting the wall.

Me too, the section of track is so fast it’s not just the impact with the wall either, it’s that the walls are so close most of the time the car ends up back on the track after hitting the wall.
F1 would be lost without cheeky chappy Lando, comes across as a great bloke
Lando is up there with Sebastian when it comes to funny interviews. I think he will have a great career in F1 for many many years.
