Thank you, great idea, it worked, I pressed harder and some black dust or dirt got stuck on the tip of the stick. I was apalled, never happened before, totally didn't know what to do. Also a symbol of a wired jack was appearing on the top side, although nothing was plugged in. The symbol dissapeard,the speaker's loud and clear, thanks once more!

I did what you said pull cotton swab and stick the q tip in the jack. Done. Pulled the q tip out and cotton got stuck. Panicked then i calmed down some how pulled cotton out and its great to say that the problem miraculously went away and i got my phone out of headphone mode. Thanks man. Whew

Those who dont have ear picks, use your jack from ear phone. I rotated the jack in the hole for some time, tapped and blowed and behold sound is coming. Dont know if it damages the port but it worked for me.

And I want to thank you for helping me fix my problem I use some bathroom tissue twisted it stuck it in the jack hole tapped it a few times it did not work at first so I took the tissue reroll some more stuck it back in and left it for 5 minutes and now it works again
