Your South Carolina neighbor here. You're advice and videos are most excellent. I love your confidence and watching you dancing on the bike listening to music. So much nice scenery and mostly cool people you meet. Looks like you had a great time. You saw Queen Sit there!!! You have taken that Harley adv class with her.
You are a great rider!! I hope to see you next week at the Southern Devil Harley Davison in Cartersville, GA between 12 to 5 so you can meet some of the LAMA (Latin American Motorcycle Association) Familia. We are celebrating our anniversary party. 🙂We would love to meet you and maybe some sponsoring in the future!! Please ride by if you can, Gracias!!!
It doesn’t have to be expensive at all. This year I road out from California camped in the woods free bought my food and beer at the grocery store. I spent two weeks round trip under $1000
Finally a good Sturgis video. Not rows and rows of essentially the same motorcycle, but actual stuff to do. Thank you! Reconsider the low. Most ADVers have way more clearance than they will ever use.
Been riding since I was in diapers what I’ve come to realize after years of riding in groups is I don’t like riding in groups perhaps it’s my age it’s hard to say why but it seems to me that the thrill of blasting around sharp corners and curves isn’t why I ride 70 miles per hour on the inner state because the sign says it’s legal just isn’t my style anymore. Just because a bike will cruise at 80 doesn’t mean that’s how fast I have to ride. There’s that plus it takes the joy out of riding for me. I think so many people get so hung up on how fast they can go completely voids the joy of being on a bike. The most enjoyable rides I’ve ever had were riding on back roads at 30-40 miles per hour never using 6th gear just putting along is what I prefer. I went through that phase where going fast was thrilling but I’m over that now I want to see the sights , smell the smells and miss very little. Just try it chances are you’ll have to solo ride if you do.
It took me eight tries to finally make it to Sturgis. First attempt I got as as far as Park City, Utah (from Stockton, CA) when I got a call telling me my younger brother just died from a massive heart attack. Dead-headed back to CA… every time I stopped to refuel people asked “Going to Sturgis?” Uh, I was. My brother just died. Uncomfortable pause… “So what? Come with us and we’ll have a drink on him!” Second time my daughter, SIL, and two grand babies were aboard a United flight bound for Guam where she had volunteered to serve as a doctor for three months. Halfway there the plane caught fire and emergency landed on Midway Island (think WWII!) We flew to Hawaii to hold them…. Third attempt daughter informs me grand baby #3 is due week of Sturgis. 4th year I went to Ireland instead. 5th year I went to Israel & Greece. 6 & 7 were the Covid years. Finally made it in year 8!
I am not a biker but always curious about events like this. I think that sense of community is quite common in most things that people really enjoy be it hiking, photography, etc. Those who really enjoy the culture are really the people you end up feeling the most comfortable around once the common ground is found. Passion for your hobby and the recognition in another is huge for a lot of people.
Such an amazing ride and you're right the scenery is spectacular. What's even more impressive is how confident rider you've become. You carved through those turns smooth as butter. Well done
I was watching one of your videos on my computer, and then I walked over to my bed to pet my dog and ended up lying down. and one video would end and the next one would start, I probably listened to ten of your videos in a row with all of the commercials. lol. I started riding bikes when I was just a little kid. first on a mini bike, and then I got a Honda 70 trail bike. and I would go out almost everyday and ride on the dirt for hours. when I was 10, 11, 12 , 13, I was probably one of the best kid dirt riders in the world, at least in my mind. but then I moved and I wasn't around dirt, and my dirt bike riding ended. but I have ridden motorcycles my entire life, and that dirt bike riding I did when I was a kid has stayed with me my entire life. and made me a better rider. watching one of your dirt bike videos made me want to try to get on a dirt bike again. even though my body is not the rubber band it used to be. I would just have to ride allot easier but I know I would still love riding on some nice trails. in 1984 I bought the very first Kawasaki Ninja, ( 900 ) I really loved that bike. but now many years later, where I have been living is mostly riding through small streets, so for the last 12 years I have been riding a little scooter around town, and my bigger bike is a Ninja 250. but starting around three years ago I got the itch to ride a big fast bike again like my 900. so I started test riding bikes, I test road the Yamaha MT07 and MTo9, a Ninja 400 and 650, a Z900. a Triumph street triple RS. a speed Twin, a Trident. a Honda 650 and 500, Royal Enfield 650, and recently a Yamaha xsr 900 which I was really close to wanting, but something was holding me back. maybe the fact that where I live it is around 3000 more dollars than in America, all new bikes are more expensive hear, so I started looking for 2nd hand bikes in new condition, and even though I couldn't test ride it I had my eyes out for a 2nd hand Kawasaki Z900RS. because of how much I loved my 1984 Kawasaki 900, but every time I found one it got sold before I was able to get it. then I came across three 2nd hand bikes online all on the same day that were all really sweet bikes with very low KM. or miles. but they were all around a 2 and half our drive from me, each way, one was a 2017 Triumph street triple RS with only 1800km. one was a 2018 BMW s1000R with only 2400 km on it. and a 2019 Ducati 939 Supersport with only 2200 km on it. all three bikes looked like new in the pictures. and I thought for a few days on which one to go for, watching lots of RUclips videos on each bike, hoping they wouldn't get sold, and the only one I had actually tested was the Triumph which I new I loved, but after allot of videos and thinking. I decided on the Ducati 939 Supersport. and I had it delivered without even seeing it in person. and when it was taken off of the truck. I was like OMG this is such a beautiful machine. it looked like it was right off of the show room floor. and when I got on it for the first time and road it down the street. I was in love. it is such a nice bike. I think there is a good possibility that I will keep it for life. my 64th birthday is in a few days, so it was kind of like buying myself a birthday present, it doesn't mean I wont ever buy another bike. but I don't see myself selling this one. and part of me still wishes I could buy the other two bikes. because I loved all three of them. and if I lived in a house with a garage where I could have them all safe and look at them everyday, I would've been temped to buy all three of them, but I live in a condo, and have to park my bike in the building parking garage, but there is also the possibility that I will also get a dirt bike and try finding some trails somewhere. it will make me feel like a kid again, sorry for the Long comment. happy trails.
Lived in Fort Meade a mile from Sturgis ages 11 to 14. Loved the back roads on my Yamaha 125cc that I bought from at Hoel's motors in Sturgis when I was 12 (1963). Attended the rally every year I was there. Thank you for brining back the fond memories of that time in my life.
This was my favorite video of yours yet! The roads within the rock formations were unique and breathtaking. I never understood the draw of the event for non-cruiser-types until this presentation. Thank you for showing a different side of it.
People forget that the Tail of the Dragon used to have a 50 mph speed limit. Now it’s 30 mph and trucks are no longer supposed to use the road. So there WAS once upon a time it was much more dangerous. With that said, Iron Mountain Road is my favorite road I’ve ever ridden so far. It was a downright spiritual experience. I went early in the morning and had it pretty much to myself. Another great video.
We go to. Sturgis but we go about the week before and do the rides, lots of people go early. The vendors usually set up early as well. We stay for 2-3 days of actual sturgis but that way we miss all the really crazy stuff. We have a blast though.
I love the flashing light on the back of your helmet ! I have ridden over 100k miles in the past 45 years . Have had 3 bikes destroyed by cars as they hit me (yes a few hospital stays) .
Great review of your Sturgis adventure, exactly how I would like to do it. Ride those beautiful roads. Thank you for sharing, safe travels always !! 🏁🏍️🏁😊
I rode about 40 years ago and put all that aside for the family life. Now I got me a 1988 Electra glide. I don't care much about the shows or clubs. I just like meeting other riders and I love a peaceful ride through our beautiful country side. I been getting 3 or 4 hours a day lately, but I hope to expand my area soon. My dream ride would be from Tybee island around the panhandle all the way along the beach over to Galveston. Then cross Tx to see 4 corners up through the national parks of Cali to the Tetons. Over to Sturgis and find my way down the Alps to home. May never make it but I will see what I can do.
Rode Sturgis in 2000...We rode 4700 miles in 13 days. From Beaumont Texas to Sturgis and back. The riding was the best I have ever seen. The Scenery was unbelievable. Spearfish, Needles, Bear Tooth Pass, the Bad Lands Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse. Some of the most friendly people I have ever been around. All there for the same Purpose. The worst part of the ride was getting out of Texas. It was 106 in Dallas.
You are wise beyond your years, Doods! "If you're tired, STOP!" And your ATGATT rules? Yup - it's better to be sweaty than bloody. I think that was someone else's line, but you live it out. And Audible? Awesome!! Congratulations! Great video with real perspective.
Great video Doodle! Awesome adventure. I like the classy and respectful way you talked about Meg and her channel. LOVE seeing you hitting up more ADV training and test rides. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for taking me along on Needles, Custer, Iron Mtn and the Badlands...the rides I missed last year at Sturgis but really wanted to do! You can’t do Sturgis once and get it all in. Hoping to see you there next year!
As always...wonderful vid. I love that you love riding and love exploring all aspects. Folks like you got me back on bikes after setting them aside for my family yrs. I'm in West Virg and even the interstates are twisties :) I've found kawasaki vulcan 900s to be absolutely awesome. Perfect combination of cruiser, road tripper and excels on mtn rds...low seated with high clearance...lol, that just kinda spilled out. I wanted to thank you for saying you had a melt down and stayed to yourself. As a 63 yr old man I can still relate and yet share it with my daughters. Please keep being Caroline, ur a 🎁
This may come as a shock to you but not everyone lives in the USA, and yes I have been to Sturgis 2002 my brother in law married an American woman, has a few kids. He drove me there as a treat.
Great video Doodle! Brings back a lot of memories😁😎 I even flew a Cessna 172 there in 1992 and saw it all from the air, slept under the wing at Wall SD. Those were great memories too! Glad you had fun! We both did.😎
Went for a ride today in the cold Sun of Winter before it unexpectedly started raining as I was traveling down the motorway in Wellington , NZ, at 70mph. Still loved every minute of it, because if you get it, you can't get enough. Love these trips of yours, Doodle, and the adventure tours to improve skills. Next time I'm stateside I can't wait to buy another bike to roll through the extraordinarily beautiful roads and parks of the Midwest.
I've never been to Sturgis but if I do go one day, It'll be when the rally is not happening. I'm not a big fan of huge crowds. Doodle if you ever get a chance (I put this on Meg's channel too) you should ride the Swiss Alps in Europe. Go there rent a bike and do it! you won't be sorry. Years ago when I was in the US Army I got that chance for three days and it was the most epic, most beautiful experience. And, it would make great content LOL!
Yessssss I was thinking those roads when the rally is out would be AMAZING - our group somehow all lost footage of the ride later in the day of the pigtails and iron mountain - but that road was PACKED. Which I wanted to go real slow anyways so it wasn't too bad
Yes. Go to the rally to do rally things. But definitely go to the Black Hills when the rally is not happening to ride the roads and actually take in the sites.
Great video. I had no idea stuff like that went on. My wife and I have taken our motorhome to Key West. The ride is absolutely stunning! One day I would love to go to Sturgis.
glad you liked sturgis!! i worked there for 10 years!! its a cool town , and i like it when the rally is over and done with. the motor cycle crowd is not my style, but it is fun to see the rally. it can be dangerous!! the rally brings out shady folks from afar. if i owned a motor cycle i most likely would not go. i don't like the crowds. i worked the rally for 10 years and i was really good at. but like i said if it was not for work, i would not be there. glad you enjoyed it.
Fantastic images. I love that part of SD and have visited many of the same spots you shared in this video. Glad you road with Meg - I think she has one of the great channels and a really good attitude about being RUclips famous. Love your channel, have fun.
Doodle, that was a beautiful video. Thanks for showing Sturgis as a fun time for everyone. The heat in the hair moment early in the video made me laugh. "How does this happen?!!" Thanks for letting us ride along through Sturgis and all those beautiful roads and with all your friends too. Truly, it looked like a blast.
Will done Carolyn. This is one of my favorite videos from you and I'm not even a Harley type. You made Sturgis look fun and accessable even to people outside of the leather and loud pipe crowd. The editing and production on this one were the tops!
I'm glad I got to do this trip at least once, in 1996. It was great, and I got to ride from CO to Sturgis and back with some friends which made it even better.
Oh man! I would love that road, not on a Harley so much but, on something lighter and nimble it would be amazing. The only problem is, despite it looking like a road I'd have a blast on throwing a good bike around, something ideally like my BMW S 1,000 R would be fantastic. And the problem is, that absolutely amazing scenery demands being admired, in fact I'd love to be able to walk through those tunnels, passages and amongst ALL those amazing rocky spire sections on foot too. Now I'm starting to see the attraction of this event, as well as the whole bike riding atmosphere and all sorts of awesome machines to admire too. Glad you experienced that and enjoyed it, it certainly does look like an awesome experience.
I own a 2021 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Low version. Te low seat is miserable on a good day. I swapped it out for the Triumph factory comfort seat. I am still flat footed. I have 28,000 miles on it. I tour on it. I toured it to Sturgis in 2012 and 2022. I have the saddle bags and a trunk. I live in Minnesota and traveled to Red Lodge in 2021 and then into Sturgis, and in 2022 I rode to Glacier National park and into Sturgis. So about 6500 miles touring. I love this bike for touring. If I keep it at about 70mph, I get 48-53mpg. 80mph, I get low to mid 40's at best. This year I had a barrel bag attached and the added back support was comfortable. The bike handles great in the twisties. If you need to go down a gravel road, no problem. If you have any questions, LMK
I've been on those roads several times but only been to Sturgis during the festival once. It was the 50th when I was all of 19yrs old and with my dad. We stayed in Deadwood and I got served in the saloon all day.
Been a few times 5 times. You summed it up perfectly. Its not about the parties its all about the rides. Yes needles is way better than the dragon. That from someone riding over a 1000 miles to get to the dragon this weekend for the second time this year. Can't wait to get back to SD and the black hills. America is beautiful
I've never been on Tail of Dragon and really am curious about comparing to the Sturgis area.. thanks for the comment.... you ever rode the Whole HoG in Arkansas? Tail comparable to that? Thanks!
Seeing American on two wheels is the best way to see it. I highly recommend taking the old costal hwys from Florida to Laconia. The Appalachian mountains and Pensilvania are a damn nice view on two wheels.
Good for you for stopping in New Castle because you were too tired to continue! ‘Better safe than Sorry’ is so true! Plus you’ll never know what new adventure awaits you when you change your plans.
I’m so happy that you came to my home state & I got to meet you Doodle. Black Hills is the perfect place for Clarence "Pappy" Hoel to create the Rally. You did a great job of presenting it to your followers👏
It wasn’t mentioned, but that dude doing the off-road course thing near the end of the video was a six time pro motocross and super cross national champion. In other words, one of the best/fastest human to ever swing a leg over a motorcycle. Fearless In his day (late 80s early 90s.
For those wanting to save money on lodging Both the college at Rapid City and the college at Spearfish rent out dorm rooms during the rally Last year we did the 10 day package at Black Hills State University in Spearfish The 10 day package was approximately 778.00 for a dorm room. It figured out to 79 bucks a night for two single beds (Which can be pushed together for those of us who bring our better half with us) I do realize you have walk down the hall to the bathrooms, showers and laundry room It is usually an older quieter crowd. (Also no alcohol, smoking or drugs allowed)
We drove from Texas to Sturgis on our Harley Tri-Glide. Spent a week there riding both paved and unpaved roads. Really liked the Needles Highway so we rode it in both directions. Great video showing the another side of the Sturgis Rally.
Tiger 900 FTW! I have the 900 GT Pro and it's a blast! Just went moto camping with it two weekends ago here in Spain and can't wait to do it again. It's a great choice for mixed roads. Best wishes Doodle ✌️
You are correct that if you go to Sturgis to actually ride, you will have a great time. The problem arises when you're not riding and have to deal with the fact that you are surrounded by people who don't actually believe in reality.
Bravo, bravo!...it's a great great video! And obvious...but too important to remark that we must stop on the route when we feel tired! Safety first, congratulations!
Definitely stop if you’re tired. I’ve been riding over 50 years. On a trip to the Texas Hill country, I was riding way too late into the night. As I rolled down a hill to a sharp corner I told myself roll the throttle back and ease through the corner. With my fatigue and unclear mind I pulled back on the throttle instead of pushing forward. At that time My weary mind told me that was a rollback. Little panicky on the corner but we made it through and then immediately picked up a hotel room.
I live in eastern SD and get out a couple of times to ride. Usually early in the season and after the rally. The roads are amazing when they're not congested.
Holy sh*t! At 13:18 is Jeff Stanton the MX and SX champion of the early '90s! I thought Twitch might show up on a Sturgis video but sure didn't expect Stanton!
Super awesome trip to the most southern tip of Florida. People go there to see the sun set I’m told . Also the fact you made stops along the way and got to interact , enjoy things and see family . Instead of just grinding away at miles and burning up the road way .
Thank you for this beautiful video, I enjoy them all! And seriously, thank you for being a great example to all riders out there by wearing gear! I’m team ATGATT and seeing you wear gear at Sturgis just made me respect you even more! Much love & safe rides 👊🏻
@@DoodleOnAMotorcycle Living on the west coast of Florida, I feel ya about the heat. I recommend a cooling vest underneath a mesh/denier summer jacket. I am ATGATT, and being bathed in sweat during the summer is situation normal. But....gear is there to give us an edge if the worst happens. I went down horrifically 6 years ago, and was not ATGATT. A helmet (good), but not much else for gear. I suffered for that. Now I am truly geared up.
9:40 i had that same kind of feeling as to why people moved to California when I visited there to see my Mom and Grandma, like the nature out there is just so much more vast than the NY/NJ area from what Id seen along the highways and stuff. Plus....the people there just vibe at a different speed and were just nice every where. So rad.
Fabulous video! Great job! I’ve been once, for the 75th, and I would love to go back before a rally to ride the roads without the crowds. Keep up the fantastic videos!
I was there. I use to own a Heritage. It was nice. And, that lighter weight really helps in slow speed maneuvers. It’s more of a confidence thing because the same techniques work on all bikes. Now, the Low Rider ST could be the perfect bike for you. Thanks for the video!
I have found the same respect from others on two wheels while desert racing. During this time competitors will purposely lose time of their race to help people with serious injuries, or with oil or whatever you need.
Another great video Doodle. Some beautiful scenery there. Always wanted to go for the views, but not the crowds. Maybe I will ride up there when the rally is not going on
I live near the Dragon and it’s just another Mtn road to me. But I’ll put the beauty of the smokies and the blue ridge parkway, cherahola skyway , and the western NC mountains up there with anywhere you want to ride.
Way to Go Doodle!!!! Hope you had a great trip out in Sturgis!!!! My wife & myself did a trip out that way a few years ago but we had to do it in a rental SUV since we only had 9 days and we're older and the bikes would have beaten us up toooo much. We visited the Badlands, Custer St Park, Sturgis (and all the roads and cities in that area) Devil's Tower, Cody WY, Yellow Stone Natl Park, Bear Tooth Gap, Chief Joseph Hwy back down thru CO and back across to home N of Atlanta. Ride Safe and looking forward to you're next adventure!!!
Made the trip to Sturgis 3 times, 2010, 2013, 2016, I live probably the furthers you can live from Sturgis as the crow flies, Perth Western Australia, you fly for 5 hours to Brisbane, Queensland then 14 hours to LAX in California, from there I rode to Las Vegas, then to Salt Lake City, then to Sturgis, spent the week there with a bunch of U.S. friends, good times to have, have fun.

Thanks lady for the kind words. We loved riding with you.
Great riding with you guys!
I was grinning for you the whole time. Thank you very much for the adventure. Cheers, love and light from Alberta Canada.
Watched a lot of Sturgis videos, been waiting for yours. You never disappoint. Thanks
Been riding for 40 years. My guideline is, if you're not feeling 100%, don't ride. You can learn this the hard way of course...
I like the way how you get love to everything you have there and many bikes or your big Harleys you're the ultimate biker.
Great video Doodle! Awesome adventure. I like the classy and respectful way you talked about Meg and her channel. LOVE seeing you hitting up more ADV training and test rides. Keep up the great work!
Right on, Rode to Sturgis 1986, ain't it great to be alive living in America.
Please keep being Caroline, ur a 🎁
☝️☝️
You're so right regarding Meg and Michael, truly really good people and super kind!! Like you!!
Thank you Squidmonster! You da best.
Which I wanted to go real slow anyways so it wasn't too bad
swiss alps or the Dolomites Italy amazing!!!
I agree but you have to experience it at least once
Yes. Go to the rally to do rally things. But definitely go to the Black Hills when the rally is not happening to ride the roads and actually take in the sites.
Besides the roads there's a pretty good motorcycle museum in Sturgis.
Good on you for actually making the ride instead of hauling your bike in on a trailer. That always cracks me up when I see that.
Thanks for showing us there are alternatives to the drinking, partying etc at Sturgis.
Doodle, that was a beautiful video.
Thanks for showing Sturgis as a fun time for everyone.
The heat in the hair moment early in the video made me laugh.
"How does this happen?!!"
Thanks for letting us ride along through Sturgis and all those beautiful roads and with all your friends too.
Truly, it looked like a blast.
Love seeing a different part of Sturgis. Those roads alone are a great reason to go there.
Will done Carolyn. This is one of my favorite videos from you and I'm not even a Harley type.
You made Sturgis look fun and accessable even to people outside of the leather and loud pipe crowd. The editing and production on this one were the tops!
Years ago, I likened the asphalt twisties to " Paving a drunken goat's path ". Loved my times at the rally.
I like how you wear safety equipment & have a solid safe philosophy👍🏼
I'm glad I got to do this trip at least once, in 1996. It was great, and I got to ride from CO to Sturgis and back with some friends which made it even better.
I live in Belle Fourche which is about 10 minutes away, it's strange having the only sport bike there XD
I have to say this has been one of my favorite videos. Thank u for sharing it with us. What amazing views!!!
I come from Cedar Rapids Iowa. Ridden many times my self. I prefer it that way. Leave early haul ass and I’m in spearfish in 9-10 hours. Great ride,
I own a 2021 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Low version.
Black hills AKA BEAUTIFUL HILLS!!
Thanks! I enjoy your videos for the factual content, real life fears and how you came out the other side. Keep up the great work ma'am!
Thanks for the super thanks! :D
*_What an excellent Ride, Doodle thanks for taking us along._*
It wasn’t mentioned, but that dude doing the off-road course thing near the end of the video was a six time pro motocross and super cross national champion. In other words, one of the best/fastest human to ever swing a leg over a motorcycle. Fearless In his day (late 80s early 90s.
For those wanting to save money on lodging
Both the college at Rapid City and the college at Spearfish rent out dorm rooms during the rally
Last year we did the 10 day package at Black Hills State University in Spearfish
The 10 day package was approximately 778.00 for a dorm room. It figured out to 79 bucks a night for two single beds
(Which can be pushed together for those of us who bring our better half with us)
I do realize you have walk down the hall to the bathrooms, showers and laundry room
It is usually an older quieter crowd. (Also no alcohol, smoking or drugs allowed)
I lived in a dorm room at Black Hills State for two years. (I was a Student). Rode all over the hills, road and off road.
That was a great mini documentary. I was entertained. I learned something. Top notch!
We drove from Texas to Sturgis on our Harley Tri-Glide. Spent a week there riding both paved and unpaved roads. Really liked the Needles Highway so we rode it in both directions. Great video showing the another side of the Sturgis Rally.
Thanks for the ride Carolyn. A ride I never made and at 65 it's on my bucket list.
That cracked me up "No means no"
Good job! When you started riding off road you were so nervous and now you are on a big bike, standing up! Way to go.
Tiger 900 FTW! I have the 900 GT Pro and it's a blast! Just went moto camping with it two weekends ago here in Spain and can't wait to do it again. It's a great choice for mixed roads. Best wishes Doodle ✌️
wow awesome need 2 get there next year( from Scotland) need 2 have some of that!!!!! thanks.
Doodle another splendid video. Glad you are creating such wonderful content!!!!!
I went to Sturgis in 2021. This video reinforces why I need to return. This video pumped me up! Love it.
You are correct that if you go to Sturgis to actually ride, you will have a great time. The problem arises when you're not riding and have to deal with the fact that you are surrounded by people who don't actually believe in reality.
I went to Sturgis once. That was enough for me.
: ) WOW !! Even a year later, THANKS MUCH for a GREAT Share ! ! ALL the BEST and Cheers :)
This lady is awesome, God bless
Great video Doodle. Your sound editing is excellent. I'm glad that you had a great time!
Went to Sturgis in 1984, hated it left after a few hours looking at bikes. Way too many people, and only 40,000 back then.
Best doodle vid so far!
Bravo, bravo!...it's a great great video! And obvious...but too important to remark that we must stop on the route when we feel tired! Safety first, congratulations!
I rode to Sturgis Back in 2015 with LAMA all the way from Atlanta, GA. It was an amazing experience!
Had fun watching this. I've been riding about 2 years, a non-Harley, and I'm considering a trip to Sturgis. Thanks for the video.
Way too many of my mistakes have been made while tired!
Wonderful trip. Thanks. Pukka tea bags too, my fav.
Looks like an awesome time Doodle! Thanks for taking us along…sorry hubs didn’t get to make it
Super awesome trip to the most southern tip of Florida. People go there to see the sun set I’m told . Also the fact you made stops along the way and got to interact , enjoy things and see family . Instead of just grinding away at miles and burning up the road way .
Great video Carolyn... Explains a lot about the draw of Sturgis. Thank you
You sure have come a long way Doodle!! You are awesome!! I hope you know that.
Be safe out there!!
I really like that low rider, it’s like a more normal sized road glide
Great video. The quality of your videos is becoming even better.
Thank you for this beautiful video, I enjoy them all! And seriously, thank you for being a great example to all riders out there by wearing gear! I’m team ATGATT and seeing you wear gear at Sturgis just made me respect you even more! Much love & safe rides 👊🏻
I WAS VERY TEMPTED TO TAKE IT ALL OFF IN THAT HEAT!! 🥵
I’m from SD been to Sturgis a lot and I’ve been to a few others. Nothing beats Sturgis!!
I was there. I use to own a Heritage. It was nice. And, that lighter weight really helps in slow speed maneuvers. It’s more of a confidence thing because the same techniques work on all bikes. Now, the Low Rider ST could be the perfect bike for you. Thanks for the video!
I remember (back in the day) watching Jeff Stanton when he was winning all those motorcross titles. Awesome trip!
OMG did I win another Corvette? That’s my 3rd one today.
I wish you happiness always, may God protect you and make you happy
I have found the same respect from others on two wheels while desert racing. During this time competitors will purposely lose time of their race to help people with serious injuries, or with oil or whatever you need.
Another great video Doodle. Some beautiful scenery there. Always wanted to go for the views, but not the crowds. Maybe I will ride up there when the rally is not going on
As a new rider (having a T-900 😊) Riding in the vast landscapes of Wyoming and Colorado is on my bucket list
I live near the Dragon and it’s just another Mtn road to me. But I’ll put the beauty of the smokies and the blue ridge parkway, cherahola skyway , and the western NC mountains up there with anywhere you want to ride.
Wow, Doodle has come such a long way since she started riding her bike to work in the ATL💯🦾 Good on ya girl🥳🙏🏽🏍😍
Great video thank you. Love your videos. Your cool I will be in hellen GA. Riding. Thanks again.
