Audio advice makes fantastic videos. I’ve purchased a few things from them but only because I knew exactly what I wanted. If I ever had a question or needed guidance, their phone customer service is not very good. They rarely have someone available and when they say they will get back to you, they don’t. This has been my experience anyway. This has happened more than once. I think they need more employees in their customer service department.
I love my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo. It was a game changer for me. This video is an excellent breakdown of what makes Pro-Ject and their turntables special. More people need to consider these options rather than the ones right off the shelf!
T1 EVO BT is a perfect gift for vinyl-loving teens and young adults who live by their BT headphones. The Debut Evo is for the record lover who is building a serious playback system and wants a lot of performance for the money and might want to upgrade cartridges over time.

How does the Pick it Evo MM cartridge compare to the Ortofon 2M Blue? Could I upgrade to the 2M Blue if it performs better than the Pick it Evo? Thank you,
Thank you for the video! I love the Satin Red version of the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2. I’m in doubt between this one and the ARGON AUDIO TT-4. Got any recommendations between the two? 😊
The most expensive Pro-Ject turntable is also the heaviest. That thing weighs 80 pounds! I have a home theater system that weighs about that much and it's a literal pain to move.

@@AudioAdvice A good turntable?? How do you know that? Have you tested it yet, because I ordered it 3 months ago, and it only arrived this Monday as a new model that has appeared on the market
@@frankd.b.9233 The 6PerspeX has been around for a pretty long time and we have sold several and always liked it. The new one simply adds the balanced option with the balanced cartridge. The other parts are the same. We hope you enjoy yours and will try a balanced phono stage to take full advantage of it.
@@AudioAdvice Or do you ever plan to test this on this channel, The model has been around for a while, as you say, but not with the balanced output, and I am also waiting for the new balanced preamplifiers too order
To me, nothing makes Pro-Ject stand out. There‘s a original manufacturer. That is what I would consider. This guy is a record player industry icon, yes, but a business-man, buying companies on their needs or dead for nothing and exploiting or rebuilding them, their otherwise lost knowledge and experience and copy others in the market and their successes, well likely a mix of that and adds shine and cheap price to that to fend off the chinese. To me, he‘s a mixed bag. Relevant, but not in my catalog for shopping, even with the relaunch plans for the Platine Verdier, a sell-off of the brand and technology of Mr. Verdier‘s dad, looting from the product development expertise of the then well known exclusive distributor in Germany to a weird future as a top model? With more shine, brochure and high-pitched price to be expected, likely 3-4x of the turntable‘s value. Here‘s the knock-offs of a well known british brands. R&D isn‘t his focus, Copy&Sell is.

First, we appreciate your support. Thank you for the feedback on your experiences.
I continue to be impressed with Audio Advice content. Bang for the buck is evident on these.
Thanks very much!

We could not agree more, thanks for sharing!
As always, a great overview. Thanks for all the detail!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it

Love the color options!
We do too!

We have not had a chance to compare but suspect the Blue is better. And yes, you could swap it out for a Blue. Thanks for watching

We have never had any experience with the Argon. Quickly looking at it, it appears the tonearm and platter of the EVO2 are better. Thanks for watching
HOW IS IT THAT ONE PLATTER IS SPINNING BACKWARDS WITH THE STYLUS IN THE GROOVE?!?
Shortly after the video starts.

It’s a beast, no doubt.

Little or nothing is said about the Pro-ject 6-perspeX Balanced Pick it MC3, why...
Because this is a video on the T1 EVO and EVO2. The Pro-Ject 6 PerspeX is a great table.

Geez.
C'mon, he's the Justin Timberlake of analog!
Yes, Mr. Lichtenauer is, even Mr. Fremer sometimes tries to hide from, and he‘s a character, too.
