I cant wait to meet BaoLi, but my heart still broken for Xiao Qi Ji. He was so happy in DC, and a year later, he still struggling to adjust to his new live in China. It is sl sad what we, humans, had done to XQJ. He should be back to DC.
What a great job national zoo! I am always wondering how the world has such an animal just with black ears and eyes set in a black elliptical circle. Because of a small number of them on the world, they all look alike. God’s miracle.
I think its good that after being kept in a zoo for so long. they get to return to semi wild nature reserve after they get older, where there is larger area to roam. fresh bamboo and the right climate for the panda
