3 birds of prey should not have been able to take out a Galaxy class star drive. They'd probably cause some issues, but they are not in the same class.
@martindevon3204 source? I'd love to see it seeing as how I very much doubt a couple of over 80 year design with minimal room for expansion/updates could hope to match the fire power of much newer, much larger (more room for updates, expansion, shields and weapons) ships of the line.
@@02ujtb00626 Picard said it in Redemption when the bops were attacking the Bortas but it was dropped from the episode. So there is your source. Oh remember Rascals when 2 bop quickly crippled the ED. That is on screen source
@@martindevon3204 No they are not equal. According to canon a bird of prey is destroyed by no more than 2 torpedoes from DS9 and 4 Phaser Volley's from Defiant. Further, Defiant has taken on 2 Birds of Prey and they were never as serious a Threat as Lakota or the Vorcha.
@@BGRANT777X I don't think so, it was just a request by a fan. Obviously the complete enterprise either together, or in some sort of MVAM configuration would be more powerful than just one of the sections by themselves.
In both 1v3 Galaxy battle (Odyssey and Yesterdays Enterprise) Galaxy either never got torpedoes on Target or only got 1 opportunity. With out the Saucer Galaxy looses it's inertia even though it also looses thrust from the Saucer Impulse Engines but it about balances out. I've run the simulation multiple times on Bridge Commander. A Saucer Separation saves both Odyssey and Alt Enterprise 8/10 times.
I’d like to see the K’vort class BOP engage a full Galaxy class ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ style without the Ambassador class present.
I already have that video up, it's titled Yesterdays Enterprise.

Officially, 2 bop are equal to a Vor'cha class Attack Cruiser....so yes

Do three BOPs vs 3 Jem Hadar fighters!
@@Joshua.Wagner sure I'll add it to the list 👍
Awesome!
@@TrekBattlesyes also one I’d like to see as I think they must be about equal.
Sneaky Lil bastards. Those klingons.
Love the battle. Keep it up.
🤣🤣🤣 and Thanks!🙌
Is the star drive supposed to be better in combat since its the same warp core but half as much ship to shield?

Star drive more agile with out saucer
Yeah it's still slightly cumbersome, but it is more agile than the complete ship
