Good result for Italy is more to the point! Ireland v Italy is always a huge match for the Irish as most people here would consider Italy to be the best in the world. The red card was not deserved and ruined the game to a certain degree. We were unlucky not to get a second goal for a really famous victory. To beat the world champions in their own backyard is the stuff of Irish dreams. We look forward to your return to Dublin.

The red card was deserved, it was intentional, good desicion by the ref. Ireland outclassed Italy. Ireland destroyed them. Ireland deserved to win easily. It just proves that Ireland are an under rated team and italy are over rated.
