Very nice video about Jordan.
Had the honour to study Arabic in 'Amman many many years ago (1989 - 1991). Very great time with a lot of sweet memories. And only very few tourists in Amman.
I remember Petra (or better Wadi Musa) had two hotels, one of them more a hostel. When I came there last time in 2017 I don't know... may be 20 hotels or more.
By the way: Happy to see at 6:50 on the right side in first floor. A new café finally opened? It was empty in 2017, but when I was living there it was a place some of my fellow students and I went for tea, coffee and sheesha.
Thank you for bringing up nice memories!
Thank you so much! its cool to know how much this country has grown over the years :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ما شا الله
Hey hey, thank you for the great video, can you share the links to the hostels you stayed in :)
Thank you! I stayed at rafiki hostel in petra and battuta hostel in Amman
This video was so helpful! I am going to Jordan and planning to visit Petra and Wadi Rum alone. Did you enjoy going on your own or would you recommend going with a tour?
I totally enjoyed on my own and it was easy to meet people and connect with the locals when i was alone. the tours were too expensive for me but it maybe worth it if you want to see wadi rum. Hope you have a lovely time in Jordan, its truly been my favorite travel this year!
3:39 man look at this dude on the left.. just hanging out looking like a prince
haha so trueee, i just noticed!
Hi! Very helpful video. Where did you book the walking tour?
Thank you, I booked it on guru walk, there have free walking tours in most cities
Btw that’s the old city of Amman .. there’s other part of Amman which is more developed..
I'm definitely coming back to see more! :)
What’s your total amount for this trip ?
Nice video, also going solo in April, which company did your walk tour? How much are the hostels?
Hey, Charlotte. I’m going end of April. When will you be there ? Maybe we can connect.
Thank you, I didn the walking tour with Guru walk and the hostels were mostly under 10 euros a night. Wishing you safe and fun travels
Are the buses always there? Taking you to an fro
you have to check bus timings on the website, they go at least once a day
Any issue with women wearing shorts in Jordan? Is the city of Amman more conservative as opposed to Petra or Wadi Rum? What is the local and tourist etiquette?
Im not entirely sure, I mostly wore kneelength and longer to respect the culture but I think In Petra, many people wore shorts. I would suggest to dress as conservative as possible ( linen trousers are ideal in the summer months)
Jordan isn’t a Muslim country only .. there are Christians and Druze.. so u can wear freely whatever u want ❤
مرحبا
Love you my hony
There's Uber in Jordan?
yes
Am planning to visit around January 1st week solo, anybody wanna join hit me up.
I see you walking, aren't you scared of getting lost? Is it closer to your hotel? What about your luggages?
I usually walk around and never got lost as I use google maps.i only travel with a small luggage handbag
