Star Wars art is something else! I didnt like the sequels, but I loved the art! There is some of the most talented art team at Lucasfilm, and looking at their work, I am immediately transported to another world, feeling like a child again, full of wonder and excitement. I really need to grab a copy of this book.
Totally agree with you!! The artwork on this book is mind blowing. Lucasfilm has some of the greatest artists on the planet and I need to pick up more books! Just got this book as a Secret Santa gift, absolutely love the Concept Art/Character Designs/Environment Studies in this. Cannot wait for Season 2's Art of Mandalorian book! A must have for any Mando fan.
I just received a copy, but have not had time to crack it open and take a proper look. The BTS illustrations are what compelled me to buy a copy, since I’ve sworn off buying sixth scale figures of The Mandolorian for now.
I bought it for the same reason as well Patrick. This is a great book and so much illustrations and information on season 1 of the Mandalorian. Love this book and highly recommend!
Hey, some feedback, I hoped a bit more a review. You make more of a product description. Thanks for the ffort though, it does give some insight. Personally I was pretty impressed by the artwork shown at the end of each episode and hoped the book would be filled with these (and of course some extra's on the series and the making of). To me in that sense the many small images are a bit a disappointment, I hoped to see more two-page images. The fact that everything is full color is very cool of course.
