I literally gasped and whispered "magic..." when you used the bone folder to split the napkin.. 🤩
I KNOW… it’s amazing 🤩 You’re welcome and thank you for watching ✨🦋
I did the same thing. Lol. Such a great idea!!
Same here - I always have problems splitting the layers. Thank you so much for that tip ♥️
Indeed!!
You can literally blow the napkin layers apart.......just hold the napkin between thumbs and index fingers, pull slightly taut and blow directly onto the edge and the napkin layers will come apart enough that you can grab it and pull apart .......I know everyone has their different ways to get those guys apart and they're all the right way!
Happy Crafting!!
great❤❤❤
Cc😃 super beau 🤩
🤩
I measure the success of a video by whether or not I grab my supplies & immediately join in. I joined in! Thanks for such a versatile idea, Hazel
Thank you so much Hazel for your wonderful feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know the video was worth your time. I think I’ll be playing with these discs for hours…I’m easily pleased. 🦋
Yes I think I’ll head to my craft room to try this! So many great ideas!
After watching you flatten the dimples on the napkin (why didn’t I ever think of that?) then separate the 3 pieces of paper AND say you use the 2 white ones to make a glassine style bag, I was hooked. So I subscribed. I can’t wait to learn more from you and make some of the lace and circle paper clips!
Thank you.
❤ Shirley
Thank you Shirley, what a brilliant comment. Welcome to the fold 🌺🦋
I would coat the discs with UV Resin and cure them. Drill the hole with a Dremel and make earrings or pendants. If you don't have a drill use could use glue on bails.
Fantastic advice thank you for sharing 😍🦋
You gave me so many ideas with the circles. I like it. Thank you and God Bless.
Multiple uses and in other shapes too…🦋
These paper disc beads are a great way to use up scraps and add other elements! I love the round disc with two holes that can stretch across a page! Tyfs!
Your welcome Barbara I really enjoyed making these 🌸🦋
very nice, have liked and subscribed
Thanks for the sub! Welcome to the fold I hope you find more inspiration here at The Treasured Page 🌱🦋

Such a brilliant idea!! Game changer🥰❤️✨
These are great little flat embellishments to have on hand. Thanks for watching 🐿🍂🦋
Thank you Melanie! 🦋
These are cute Melanie! 🥰
Sometimes, a piece I've made just isn't working out. Many times, I can 'salvage' it by punching out circles and then finding ways to use the small circles. This just gave me more ideas for using them. I also thought of making a 'faux' button card using small circles.
Great idea 💡 and nice and flat too. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a kind comment 🦋
I love these 💜💜💜
Me too 💜 so much fun. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment I really appreciate all your support 🦋

It was your title that made me look. Paper disc … beads?!! I’m so glad that caught my attention. That just makes sense and there are so many papers etc to work that in! And slowing down is good! I liked that you mentioned something about a peaceful craft space at the start. New here. Going to sub and see what comes up. Thanks! ❤
You are so welcome, thank you for your lovely comment and for supporting the channel. I hope you find inspiration here at The Treasured Page and enjoy watching my other videos in the play lists here on RUclips. 🦋

Thanks so much! I hope you find more inspiration here at The Treasured Page😊🦋
Great idea for page trimming. So many options.🌱💛
Thanks so much! 😊🦋
If you added a little jump ring to the circle disc, it would hand right on anything. It would also make a cute necklace with all the little charms. :)
Yes brilliant comments and anyone familiar with resin could coat them to make lasting jewellery pieces. Great fun to make too 🦋
Very cute, unique ideas! I really enjoyed this! 🎉❤
I really appreciate your kind message thank you 🌺🦋
I love the postmark one with the owl the postmark is Asheville my hometown North Carolina ...home of the famous Biltmore

Hi, loved how these turned out and love your videos, thanks so much!
You are so welcome Anu ❤️🦋
11:38 these punches always attack me...the bigger one, for some reason, can trap part of my palm. Amazing technique for taking apart the napkin layers! A brilliant video all 'round, if you'll pardon the pun...
😂😂 Thank you 🦋
oh Love this idea Thank you dear
You're welcome 😊🦋
Cute idea ☺️
Thank you! 😊🦋
This looks fun, will have to do a few. That napkin is the prettiest napkin I have ever seen. New subbie❤ and I found that gorgeous washi. How fun. Glad I found your channel
Awesome! Thank you! 🦋
Hey, always repurpose whatever you can! lol
What a great idea! Quick, easy, useful and adorable. But they really hurt to punch out!
Yes they do hurt a bit to punch out. I agree I can’t do lots in one go. Thank you so much for writing in. Maybe there’s a die cut that cuts multiple circles. Perhaps there a family member that can be roped in for the task! Otherwise thinner card helps and glueing circles together. This means only decorating one side of the card stock, it’s an extra step and more glueing but you’ll get lovely results and you can make them even thicker if needed. Make holes in the thin card before glueing together 😉🦋
@@TheTreasuredPage turn your punch upside down and lay it on the table. Stand up and put ur paper into it and press down. You have a lot more leverage that way and it doesn’t hurt.
I think punches are designed to be on the table and you press down on top. That might be why you’re having trouble 🦋
Yes thank you I will try that 😄🦋
Very cute
You are so kind 🌼🦋
What a great idea! I love it! Thank you so much for the video and for the inspiration! 💕
Pleased you liked it Dragana 🦋
@Saacibo - I watched your video on making charms just the other day and went a little nuts glueing and die cutting pretty little images...Now, thanks to Melanie, I know what ELSE to do with them. Serendipity!

New subscriber. Thank you so much for showing how to separate napkins, what a good idea 🙂🙂
You are so welcome! Thank you for being here 🦋
So cute. When I get home I’m making these. 😊 new sub.❤
Awesome! Thank you! 😆🦋
If you you put your thumb over the hole that the paper punch ejects, it won't fly all over the place.
Great suggestion thanks so much for watching and leaving a kind comment 🌼🦋
You could glue two disks together with thread loop stuck between.
Oooh yes, I love that idea 💡 thank you. Great comment I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave feedback 🦋
Wonderful tips along the way 2 learning a new technique for my paper art! I cannot find where you tagged it here, but I'm going directly to your glassine (sp?) tutorial as I've tossed countless tissue away when collaging with decorative napkins! TYFS!♡♡
Glad it was helpful! There the link to the other video mentioned 🦋 ruclips.net/video/ayqqQbffeVo/видео.html
Hello Melanie,
I love this Idea and i am going to try it! The second lace you are useing is not a crochet lace, it is bobbin lace. (Sorry my englisch is not so good)
Thanks for the idea!
Thank you for your great information and feedback. I like to work with two different textures and materials on the bottom then add small embellishments on top. I hope you have fun with this 🦋
@@TheTreasuredPage yes, i will
Lovely. Can you get your camera closer?
Those are lovely!
I need the tweezers like you have. What are they called? We’re did you get them?
They are curved point tweezers. Mine are from the dental department my uncle was a dentist and gave them to me with I was 18 for jewellery making…so useful. Try here: amzn.to/3Jg9lRq 🦋
@@TheTreasuredPage thank you
Anyone know the brand of the first hole punch used in the video? TIA.
Thanks for watching I use EK circle punches, I’ve been through them all but these are just brilliant for storage I use 1/2” and 3/4” amzn.to/3jseRWN
Where can I find Washi tape this width? I don't see any online to order or in stores.

What’s washy tape
Hi Koreen, Washi tape was developed in 2006 it’s a pretty decorative paper tape originally from Japan. Washi is a type of semi translucent paper. The tape is sticky and the thin paper blends into projects without a harsh edge line. There are many beautiful styles and designs to complement your creative style. Washi tape is widely used in Japan and China for scrapbooking and journalling and it’s also available in all good craft stores worldwide. Be careful though…it’s hard to choose just a few!! 🦋
Ma non li vernici, con una vernice protettiva trasparente? Li lasci così? Si rovinano nel tempo....
Yes you would need to protect them with a clear vanish if using them for jewellery. In Papercraft and creative journals it’s not essential to seal them. Unless you want to protect them for archival or heirloom art work. 🦋
