I'm an old dude, so I obviously dont play a part in the sport, but I started experimenting with paintball markers over three years ago. I was looking for respectable performance, but above all, I wanted reliability, and the reliability of this pistol I found to be far superior to that of the fsc, t8.1 or T9.1 - I actually gave my T9.1 away to a mate after using the TiPX for a few weeks, the T8.1.I sold, and the fsc sits forlorn and gathering dust in a case. I love the TiPX, and I hope GI carry on producing them, and not just give them to the likes of Mission to rebadge and sell on at inflated prices. Excellent for my needs.
Zetas give you a nice load out, and feed well. HOWEVER they are finicky to use as you have to remember to release the follower after inserting into the marker as they dont have an automatic release, and they tend to lose balls during play from open ends. The Lapco barrels for this are wonderful, I use both a Tipx .684 lapco and occasionally a Lapco bigshot assault I had for my ProCarbine that gives a nice length for good pointing and sighting.
They are easily the best .68 caliber primary pistols out there. I just wish that they were a bit smaller, made out of GRN, and were easier to work on/clean. From my experience if you break a ball you probably need to dissassemble it to properly clean it if you want any hope at accuracy.
I love my TPX its something ive used when my main gun goes down or to defend myself when i switch my hose over to my nove n8 launcher for bunker busting or anti tank duties
Just a guess but probably a "soft" ban. No legislation introduced to ban them, but retailers asked to withdraw. Same thing happened with certain types of pyro recently.
You can get a used one for around 200 bucks (usually) that’s how I got mine, came with a different 8 inch barrel, the remote line adapter, and first strike breach. Still works like a charm.
I'm looking at buying this here in the UK, not to use in for paintball matches but to deter people from nicking my car. What sort of guns should I be looking at for out the box power and small enough to hide in the bedroom so the kids won't find it.

When I was a kid these didn’t exist as an adult I’m so happy people didn’t forget about paintball 😭

Tippmann TiPX is the Ruger 10/22 of the paintball world.
Hi man. i am getting one of these tomorrow. as a self defense unit

agreed, not the easiest to work on, but the lokbolt from MCS allows you to shoot FSR and avoid the majority of messy chops

The TiPX is a great sidearm
there is a accessory out for a remote line if the use of 12g co2 puts you off.
yes there is
"...it looks like a ladies applicator..." 😂😂😂
wish this could get gamacore so it wouldnt be limited for bounceballs.
If you do decide to put the line in the pistol with the tank, does it have to be a CO2 tank or could it be HPA?
Works fine with HPA, this would probably be the better option (IMO)
@@ModernIntel sweet! Thanks for the help
I don't have a chronograph, how many Joules does it max out at?
What if I used steel balls? Would work? Or is the spring too weak to lift them?
to weak + you'll just get a much slower shot with more potential to damage the TiPX
Could this be used to fire foam paintballs?
if there .68 cal it could work
Can you enlighten me as to why I can't see to find any extended mags or zeta mags anywhere in the UK? Cheers

Should be back in UK in around 2-3 weeks
@@runlarryrun77 theres no ban, just short supply in stock.
Is it .68 cal or .43
.68 cal
400$ for this thing is ridiculous. Old ass gun why is it still so expensive??
$300!! thats still a lot of dollar. "Old Ass gun" - it is getting on a bit but theres still not a better .68 cal Pistol (IMO)
